I swapped the Mythic for Iron since you may as well restart if dead anyway plus its a higher score multiplier
The issue here is the scarab and the area where everyone and their mom has a fuel rod gun. The door doesn't open up fast enough and you walk at a snails pace meaning it is total luck whether or not you die.
The enemies on legendary must fucking love you cause you never take damage. I get through the whole level with 45,000 but can’t get past the goddamn scarab because of a fucking banshee following me.
Kill the banshees before going in the buildings, more points and none to burn you there...he said, 3 years later

After many runs I’ve end up getting the achievement:
•Legendary
•Time: 8:44 minutes
•Skulls: Famine, Iron, That’s just…Wrong, Thunderstorm & Tough Luck.
•52,518 score

Because of the banshee’s
Bc the par time is so damn short so you have to kinda speed though the level also otherwise you don’t get the time multiplier
It's the least accomplished par score of all MCC at the moment...
The 3x multiplier didn't work for me for some reason even though i did it in 7+ minutes :\

Dude I don't think I can do this one using your method. With the catch grenade on, that room with the brutes on foot is damn near impossible for me. They instantly start bombarding with fire and plasma grenades, the engineer is in the back giving everyone overshields, which with mythic, basically makes them invincible. And all the grenades always immediately blow over the crate with the plasma pistols in it making them unusable. I'm gonna have to use a different method. I managed to beat this whole game on legendary in under three hours, and get all the par times, but this is just stupid.
Tanner Heslet I take mythic off and can finish with about 45,000. It’s still a bitch tho
2 years late but I did it with catch, tough luck, thunderstorm and famine. Was pretty simple and finished in 10:30 with 65000 score. Mythic is kinda unescescarry.

If anyone's reading this, I think the mines at the end of the level also give you a good amount of points, I did the mission on Heroic with 6 multiplier skulls on and ended the mission with just under 36k, but as the cutscene was playing I got the achievement. Someone else also mentioned that you can just destroy the unused banshees for points

Reading all these comments I thought this was gonna be a pain. Just take your time and take out the banshees flying around. Other than that follow the guide. Finished in 12:14 with 59k. GL!
I think this one is the hardest for the odst par score for me at least.

Was able to beat the par score, died twice at the scarab, 17 minutes but I had over 30k points and still had a 1.58x time multiplier in the end, put me to 49,000. But I killed everything, left no enemies to get that base score. Had I not died at all the time multiplier would have been much higher. The secret is not dying.
I can't do it. I can't kill the jackals. Idk why.
Got stuck on the part you have to do on foot, restarted, can't even get to the first banshee anymore.
Jackels suck. You can rarely ever properly stun them and they always evade grenades perfectly. Just pray you can get past them.

Yea the recoil on the pistol works well with the notch u basically just double tap and it's a head shot . Also plenty of ammo to noob em
The only part that made this par score difficult for me was the brute part where you have to hit the over ride switch but besides that it wasn't that bad
the last scarab strat didnt work for me, first time a banshee killed me, second time the scarab killed me despite trying to dodge it, third time i just returned to my banshee and finished the mission in it

Man I get some close but can't get it. I end with like 13k score and under par time and till come short wtf? I did die once though
Edit: I turned Catch off so I could get through the final part a little quicker and I killed a couple squids during that skip where you fly over them, that helped! Still, great guides, thank man!
I'm confused at the beginning, I never have as many enemies as you do, its like half of them fail to spawn so I always make it to the next stage down way too many points and pushing through like you did isn't enough to get me over. Sad panda
Every time the chieftain does his move he immediately turns around and I can’t beat him down, this is beyond stupid.
Incendiary grenades melt brute chieftains if you throw one directly on them assuming no invincibility. You can get the grenades from the easily visible invisible brutes that start to attack just before the chieftain does. That is how I beat the chieftain without assassinating him.
Is there any possible way to earn the achievement titled "The True King"? It requires you to get 250 king of the hill specific medals in matchmaking, but literally everyone in every playlist votes for team slayer 90% of the time :(
***** My guide for that is here: th-cam.com/video/pTPVvaJpjV0/w-d-xo.html I suggest going in with friends who will all vote for King of the Hill. Also, try to jump into Team Objective when it comes around. That is one of those playlists that rotates in and out of the lineup from time to time. Unfortunately, there's no straight forward way to get this one, but these tips make it a little easier and quicker. Definitely check out the video to learn how to maximize each King of the Hill game :)

First try got a little bit above 25,000 score without time multiplier. Second try I get the time multiplier but nowhere near enough score

Can't get past the fucking scarab everytime it blasts me with the green beam and I insta die and can't avoid it.
Edit: instead of ditching the banshee at the last door and going on foot like in the video, I got out at the door, opened it and got right back in the banshee, so if the scarab shot at me, I could avoid it then fly to the end.
dude i have no clue how you do this. i get rekt without question even on heroic with half these skulls
Heroic, all skulls except Blind, Black eye, Mythic and Catch. Don't worry to much about time.
THE trick is to destroy all empty banshees. Got 55k my first try doing this method
Destroying the empty banshees gives me no points at all???

@@Iliev48 yeah it's not, I just played through same way but with iron on as well so just save quit if you die
@@ESBJacko for some reason save and quit doesn't work, atleast on pc. There is a workaround though, by closing the game trough the task manager.
This is a hard one, looks easy in the video but I only had 13k when I reach the part with the scarab. Not even close to getting close enough, and I kill what you kill. I have a 10x multiplier as well.
Edit: Got it my second try, without Mythic, it's A LOT easier without mythic, takes 3x times faster to kill the enemies. I also killed the 3 anti-air wraiths in the sections before the room with all the brutes, 2.5k points for each so it's well worth it and takes like a minute longer. Ended with 71k with a 2.97x time multiplier.
God damn awful mission XD anytime I do decently the phantom gets stuck with no enemies so im softlocked and the fact you need like 6 skulls and on legendary just to get PAR score PAR as in AVERAGE because I guess the average person is playing with 6 skulls on legendary beating the mission in under 10 minutes I cant imagine what the above 50% of people are doing
I hate this level so much just because of this achievement.
Destroy the empty banshees it gives you a lot of points.
^This, do this. I blasted through it. 23 minute run and hit it easy. i left tilt and catch off. Catch increases rng massively and tilt makes vehicles take much long to kill.
They must have patched this because it doesn't award any points now.
For those stuck on this achievement - you need to set the game mode to be "Score", not "Competitive Score". The latter doesn't apply the time bonus at the end of the mission.
It apples it during the mission as opposed to after the mission. It’s a good way to know how you’re doing before you finish the mission. Plus it shows you the time. Incredibly convenient
@@qweert2y I can second that the time bonus didn't work for me on Competitive Score. I use competitive score on all levels, this one I was on legendary 2.99x scoring skulls, 2.84x time bonus, ending with about 23k points. Switch to Score on legendary, 2.99x scoring skulls, got a worse time bonus of 2.39x and got 44,066 points. So for some reason the time bonus didn't multiply when I was on competitive score. Not sure why.
@@zacjockumsen5014 all I can say is that mcc has buggy achievements. I used competitive scoring for everything, which is why I said it was convenient to have scoring and time visible at the same time. You could do par time and par score at the same time
