The main factor in whether or not your Kingyuan is a king is the light cone. If you have his signature, he’s actually pretty damn good. If not, you won’t be using him until you get it. Also I’m curious as to how well a DHIL + Sparkle + Tingyun + Huohuo team would actually do. I think the energy regen from Tingyun and Huohuo’s ult would help Dan Heng get HIS ult faster so that he doesn’t have to keep burning skill points, and with Sparkle it should almost guarantee that you’d always be able to use a fully buffed basic, but seeing as I have neither Huohuo, Sparkle, or the dedication to keep making myself farm artifacts, I can’t try it out myself. Any healer would probably do, but Huohuo sounds like the best option, at least in theory. I’m not sure if all that would be enough sp after speed tuning Sparkle and IL to make him get two turns. So, please be my lab rat and try that out to help me decide whether or not to pull for Sparkle on her rerun. Thx
I mean I don't have E6 Tingyun (got her E5 long ago but still not E6) but I have tried out E0S0 Huo Huo E0S1 IL, Sparkle, Ruan Mei against Choir boss and in the long run whether the it is Ruan Mei/ Tingyun you still have to Sparkle advance DHIL unenhanced basic in order to keep the speed tuning stable and regenarate energy and skill points.
Sparkle is generally used very fast with a slow DPS so that her 50% advance brings them all the way forward, basically giving them her speed value and ensuring they're always buffed. You cannot tune her to work like Bronya where you give your DPS two turns by having Bronya just barely slower, if the DPS speed is close to Sparkle you do not get full advance and it gets very awkward. That said, she's still DHIL's best harmony support for the damage and SP (plus running him on ATK boots raises his damage floor even higher). Sparkle and Bronya play totally different, which I think is good because it allows both to stay relevant Edit: in short, what you listed is easily one of DHIL's best teams, for all the buffs and ER + SP
If your IL is E2 than Tingyun isn’t quite as friendly to your SP, but even then it’s probably one of the best teams in the game, and definitely the best in a situation favouring IMG damage
If anything it just demonstrates how far the supports have gone in this game. They released sustains that remove peoples skill issue as well as cracked harmonies that near double a dps dmg out put.
Enemy stats are balanced around the entire roster, especially how much the supports can amplify kits. So using only old supports is some disservice to the dps too, yet they still deal decent damage. Even aside of that, the matchups were not good this rotation (alien dream vs JY, the dot puppet doesn't attack against clara, no cleanse). I used the jankiest team on floor 12 second side with argenti-aventurine-hanya-luka and it still cleared, so it's definitely matchup/support issue delaying the clear, not dps.
Out of the early characters i still use seele when I see quantum weakness on all the enemies and pela is still very useful. Silver wolf and tingyun also are good in replacing certain characters in the meta team comps since I didnt pull some of the characters that are the best for those teams. Otherwise bailu actually came in clutch during my divergent universe run somehow I dont understand how she did it but i had the split damage blessing and fu xuan was not gonna clutch up and even huo huo's healing wasnt clutching out and the enemy was sam so there was no dot damage to worry about. so shoutout bailu
As long as 1 of ur teams can 0 cycle *cough acheron or ff*. Your other team can be a fun one and they have 10 cycles to work with. So theoretically characters dont get benched :copium:
Just goes to show you tier lists were always clueless. If multipliers are big, S tier, when there's much more to the damage formula and cadency than this.
Switching Pela and Silverwolf would greatly improve the performance. Side 1 gives a lot of free damage when you break all 3 at the same time, and Silverwolf would give you a 50/50 on quantum and lightning instead of relying on Luocha to break the third robot. On side 2 Pela would have done a much better job at breaking Argenti and his summons, reducing the amount of aoe damage you were taking instead of Silverwolf being useless with the wind and lightning implants. All in all it might actually have been winnable, just not a 3 star clear which is understandable since it has higher level enemies and getting three stars requires fewer cycles than what it used to.

Sparkle is BY FAR the most valuable pick for your account. Aside from being 5-star Harmony that is basically perfect for any Hyper-Carry team. Sparkle would only ever be considered "not an awesome pickup" if you literally don't run Hypercarry teams which you do with Imbibitor and Acheron. Even on the assumption that you only have Aventurine as a 5-star sustain Lingsha is simply not that valuable. HuoHuo is the better DOT sustain to get for your DOT team with Black Swan and Kafka and 4-star Gallagher is the current best-in-slot sustain for Super Break with Firefly and Ruan Mei. Acheron, provided you actually need a sustain, prefers Preservation over Abundance so they can run Trend of the Universal Market which you have covered with Aventurine. We don't know the full kit of Lingsha but with a free Gallagher being so good already since you run SuperBreak she will almost certainly not be good value for money even BEFORE you compare her to one of the highest value pulls (Sparkle). Conclusion. Get Sparkle. Get Sparkle. Get Sparkle. Literally 99-1 Sparkle is better value. Unless you are Waifu pulling in which case you probably would not have asked the internet.
When was that tier list made? In the exact same day of Jingyuan's release? If I remember right, people quickly found that he wasn't that good shortly after release. It was only after the release of certain relics and characters that he became somewhat decent. But then again, Yanqing's in the same tier as him in that list, different times i guess.
You should be happy instead that Clara will get more enemies that interact with her kit. This was me skipping FF to use Himeko more often, the game has much more opportunities to use her now.

he got overshadowed by seele since she was better at the beginning of the game and then jingliu completely wiped him off the face of the earth. like in terms of damage he could hit seele numbers but like it was inconsistent so seele was consistently way better
Yes, the old meta is weak now, but that doesn't mean these characters are automatically bad. There are two things to note: 1. Some newer support help bridge the gap for older dps and some older supports help out newer dps. 2. Some parts of the meta kind of work against the old meta of hypercarry. Past, Present, and Future are a great example since they are designed to all be broken at once, but Jing Yuan can't break all three since one doesn't have a lightning weakness and Luocha is the only imaginary. They are trying to make the units less brute force-able.

Call me insane all you want. Def Shred is garbage. Def ignore in Eidolons, LCs, and relics are acceptable. Edit: I didn't even notice you were using Silver Wolf! Why!?! She is just as bad if not worse than Pela! I get you are using the highest rated character but holy hell. Further edit: Pela shreds 40% def which translates to a 26% damage bonus in the final calcs. 2 Harmony units far exceed that. They need a collective 116% just to reach the same level as a Bronya with Pela. Tingyun and Bronya get to that point. Bronya with sig LC has roughly 96% damage bonus. Tingyun with Bronya LC (highly unlikely but let's say we do) has roughly 50% damage bonus. That 146% damage, 30% better than Bronya and Pela.
@@The_Jragon first of all many players don't have more than 2-3 good harmony characters because of f2p, before you start yes I know you can still get many 5* characters while being f2p but pela is a great unit because she has a 100% chance to land her debuffs + RSPOS LC can make it 56% def reduction so for the pros are she's easy to build need only 125-30 spd, great def reduction, good DMG multiplication if you don't have a good harmony character. And yes I know ruan mei is better than pela because she's a 5* and pela is a 4* it's always been that way. If you want to use 2 harmony character that's fine but to say that the character is trash is a bad take.

I cleared MoC 12 with Clara, Tingyun and Luocha right now, the only problem was the DoT mod. Amd even he easily died to the MoC mechanic.

@@The_Jragon first of all many players don't have more than 2-3 good harmony characters because of f2p, before you start yes I know you can still get many 5* characters while being f2p but pela is a great unit because she has a 100% chance to land her debuffs + RSPOS LC can make it 56% def reduction so for the pros are she's easy to build need only 125-30 spd, great def reduction, good DMG multiplication if you don't have a good harmony character. And yes I know ruan mei is better than pela because she's a 5* and pela is a 4* it's always been that way. If you want to use 2 harmony character that's fine but to say that the character is trash is a bad take.
doesn't bronya's buff run out before lightning lord moves and isn't her ult uptime much worse than pela's? the only upsides I see is the stack gain and dx3 lc
