    • @RevHardt
      @RevHardt ปีที่แล้ว

@@theaccountingsolutions1188 servicing needs improvement. Ronin can only be serviced at select centres and they typically have just 1 guy per centre qualified to work on Ronin, who is involved with other bikes also. I have had an intermittent issue with failed warm starts that turns the engine light on - and it stays on - that they haven't addressed across several visits.

Never before have I watched such a detailed, painstakingly researched and balanced review! Seems that not only do you have in-depth knowledge about automobile engineering in addition to an astute appreciation of customer needs and expectations but also a very unbiased and balanced insight and judgement as well. A rare combination of intelligence, wisdom and honesty indeed!
God bless you and keep up the good work. 🎉
(Do elaborate on the off-road and adventure touring capabilities of this "unscripted" machine so that beginners as well as allrounders can also benefit from your views and advice to choose between more expensive alternatives and Ronin.

Every section of the video was well designed and researched. Appreciate the efforts.
You have poured the personal experience in each and every part of the video, be it a Design, posture, dynamics, handling or after sales service.
What I most liked about your views is a balanced angle in terms of customers and manufacturer too.
You have given a very composed opinions and maturity of thoughts reflects in your narration too.
New experiments by TVS team on each and every part of this unique design is appreciated and to you made me understand it thoroughly.

I had TVS suzuki Fierro 150cc in young old days. Now seeing Ronnin as super macho avtar. But scared to go for it. I had bad taste of TVS servicing for Electric and Engine heating problem. Bike got rusted when not used for an year in Mumbai weather except suzuki make engine. That engine with gearbox is still with me. If anyone wants to use it for experiemment?
Question to Company and TH-camr- How far company reached to its excellence and in terms of reliability. Can anyone help from Ronnin user.

Excellent review, very in depth and super duper useful. Just one suggestion though- the heading of the video seems a bit misleading after you watch the entire video since problems seem to be very minor when weighed against the pros. So maybe you would want to rename the video more appropriately!
I took a test ride twice and am planning to purchase this. Main reasons being it's light weight, slipper clutch, agility and ease of riding in traffic and lastly pricing of the base variant (which in my view is the most value for money option). These points make Ronin stand out from Royal Enfield and Honda CB 350 - this is because my primary use will be city ride.

I am having multiple issues with my 4 day old , 96 km run Ronin.
The engine is making a tappety noise which is irritating, and wasn't there on the test ride motorcycle.
The gear shift is smooth on the upshift...but terrible on the downshift.
In 4th gear if one slows down, I am unable to come down to 2nd...the gear shift refuses to shift down to 3rd , 2nd or 1st.
I have to release the clutch halfway and then it shift with a sharp sound...
This is exactly like the old 80s Bullet bikes.
Front tyre has lost air pressure completely within one day of purchase.
It was starting to wobble by the time I reached home.
I filled 25 psi air at the nearest station but by next morning it was down to 07 psi.
I have got the valve pin replaced now.
Very sad experience for a TWO lakhs purchase.

I really appreciate that you made such a detailed video..I need your suggestion with regards to buying a new bike considering following points in mind : 1). 70-75% will be city ride and 20-25 % will be Highways or off-road 2). Should be Comfortable for both Rider & pillon (good seats etc.) 3). Low on maintenance and 4). Average-good mileage 5) Look & Brand ..Now obviously price is factor and you can't get everything, still with medium budget consideration, which bike you would suggest? You may suggest Top 2 as well..

What is your opinion about this bike bro ?

I don’t know if I have ever watched a more detailed and painstakingly drafted bike review ever! Mind blowing!
A question: I personally like the base model colour scheme in black rather than the garish 2tone top model. The intention is to go in drives in the Himalayas in North and northeast. Will Single channel ABS be better for my use or should I go for the top end Dual ABS option as the price is not a consideration? Thanks you.

      @jsedits7547 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

People go with bikes which dont have ABS it all depends on your control over your machine. Before reaching the Himalayas your bike will start to communicate with you.

Awesome video brother. I was waiting for it. Personally I was very much interested in this bike but I didn't like the rear of this bike and would have to wait for upcoming bikes launch. Sales and services of tvs is too poor. For me average of the bike should be at least 40kmpl as my hornet is giving only 30-35kmpl so it burns my pocket. I was interested in suzuki v strom 250 but seat height is too much for 5.5ft guy.

Plz make video to compare TVS Ronin & Bajaj Avenger 220 & Renegade Comando ... As comparing with high cc bikes is no use. Compare it with same cc bikes.. So it will be help us to choice which bike to buy.

First I drived TVS Star 2005 , from 2005 to 2018 , it was a std model . I have used it 1,42,425 kms . But the local dealer said the spares are stopped by TVs company . So I sold it for hardly six k only . Suspension and tube tyres were just new viz MRF brand . I then purchased hero splendor plus . Are spares available for Ronin for coming atleast two decades . My age is fourty - seven yrs . I travel rural semi rural areas hamlets etc . ( ABC )

I have TVS Jupiter. The main issues are parts and also design. One e rikshaw hit my tail light. The e rikshaw was having a spear like guard. So it broke the glass. The tail light is one unit with side indicators. If they have 3 units then It would have costed less. My petrol tank sensor failed and the bolts didnt unscrew. They were freely rotating. They didn't have the extra fuel tank with them also they said it would take time to come. The design are changed every year of Jupiter hence they don't afford to make bulk parts. Same with Apache and now should be same with Ronin. Although Ronin being different then others they would be making their parts in bulk now as they would not change the design for about 3-4 yrs. But surely 2 decades is a long journey. I had TVS vector which became huge pain in *** after few years when it would just start either by धक्का or by 100s of continuous kicks. Sold at 10000 after 7 yrs. TVS has huge reliability issue. Same with my Apache hyperedge 160 2012 model..parts are not available.

You won't see Ronin after 8-9 years.
It is not an immortal bike.
bikes like platina, splendor and star are long term bikes
So spare parts for Ronin will come late and gone early

Bike is good and the only problem i have faced is the mirror. It provides a short view for the rear vehicles view. I hope there is a solution with alternate mirrors. Did any one install the alternate mirrors for better view.

    Please Reply.....
I am planning to buy Ronin as it is more comfortable and has more features(all Led Lights, slipper clutch) than its competitor Hunter 350. However I have also watched videos of tvs Ronin having chain noise issues and sensor problems which is making me rethink my decision as tvs service is not that great. What should I do, go for hunter????

Go for Ronin. Fz 25 is good but according to your height, riding preference, service cost, parts & maintenance; ronin is much better choice. Just an opinion rest is up to you.
