Missouri Star Affiliate link for 20% off your purchase of $50 or more: glnk.io/mzmmj/pattymacmakes. You simply click the link which takes you right to their website. Then shop as normal. When you have $50 worth of products, the discount will come off automatically in the check out cart. Not everything is included with the discount, and I don't have any control over that. Generally the big ticket items like sewing machines and furniture is not included, but most everything else is. Including fabric and notions already on sale. Often they allow us to stack the discount onto the sale price so it really makes it worthwhile. I do explain it more in my most recent videos if you would like a visual representation to follow. There is no limit on how many times in a month you can use it!
I have not watched you you tube videos for some time, but have the last couple few. I must say I like these now. I enjoy the openess and changes I see. I can relate more. I will definetely following more often checking our your affiliates. I also appreciate your honesty regarding some of them. I do enjoy live alongs. I will also check your new Pattymac Makes. Thank you for all you do.
Thank you so much for that feedback. I had resisted being too personal because it's tricky to put yourself out there online, and I wanted what I felt like was a better presentation. But people seem to prefer the simple webcam set up. Who am I to argue? LOL I decided to try this out to simplify things and get the video out there, and I really wasn't prepared for the positive response.
Patty, I so love your videos. The strawberry wallhanging is so beautiful! And I am learning to love HSTs thanks to you! I am currently designing a Christmas tree door decoration for my sister to hang on her door, using HSTs. She is a nursing home resident, and would love something pretty to hang on her door, and I haven’t found a pattern that will fit on her door space. I never would have had courage to try this had it not been for your past videos, so many thanks to you! I’ve learned so much and love watching yours in particular. ❤❤❤
Oh Jodi!! Thank you so much. I'm really happy to hear the video tutorials help!! For the tree, just find one tree block you like and make it bigger. Make one block to go on the door. Sash it and quilt it! There are so many lovely variations out there. Or use the one I did a few years ago. It works with rectangles but it's not bad. And it makes the cutest door hanging. You could do one or 4 if you have room for it and you probably would. I like wall hangings with 4 blocks. You can do each block in different fabrics and then sash them with 2.5" strips. It would be easy and fun! I started working on the Strawberry quilt video today and the blog post is live if you want to take a look! The video will be up this week!
I got the large purple ones (4) in April on a Daily Deal. They are amazing. I had spent several weeks cutting my stash into different sizes of squares and had one for each. They hold an amazing amount of fabric!!!!!
I agree with you about those Canadian geese! They have found our home golf course and they made themselves a real nuisance. Once they find you, they never leave! New babies and lots of new poop every year. UGG.
Thanks!! That is the only thing I can offer as a criticism about the company. I wish they would expand on their the modern lines. But they have the best prices and sales and discounts in the industry. And they are market leaders by knowing what their customers want. Though I believe they could greatly expand their market share if they brought in even a handful of modern designers beyond Tula Pink and Kaffe Fasset.
I actually stopped doing them because nobody watched. But I might do something and post it as unlisted and share the link in email or something. I do have older plant videos on the channel if you're interested! I made this one about my tomatoes and sauce last year. th-cam.com/video/WzG__TFKv5g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=m5vpRzci0-vs8UxI It's up as unlisted so It doesn't show up in my regular channel videos. That way, the low views and participation won't hurt the channel. It's damaging to a channel to get low views on a video or two. Very difficult to recover from it. But thank you for being interested!! Nobody wants to watch a garden video unless you're a garden channel.
Oh sorry to hear that, I will sure watch the older one, would love to see the outdoor and the canal. Looks so peaceful . I’ll call the geese back home. Hello from Toronto
I"m definitely interested in the larger size version as well. They say 10" squares will fit in this one but I couldn't get mine into it, so I'll have to play with one in the daylight and see exactly what I'm doing. It's great for my charm packs and fat quarters though.
Ms. Patty, hello from Georgia. Another delightful video; thank you. I think the new video presentation is fine (you look great, btw). Hey, if it works, don't change it, right? Thanks again, take care. Hugs and Kisses for momma; hope she's still improving.
Thank you so much!! I've done some youtube training and they all emphasize camera equipment and audio etc for quality purposes. But it's so much to set up and do that it keeps me from filming. And not everything I want to share with you all requires a fancy presentation. Mom definitely feels better than when she first came under care so we pray she can continue to improve over the summer. It's a battle, but neither one of us has given up.
I would need 400 of those fabric storage bags, I laughed out loud when I heard how much fabric went in to the bag, I was thinking a project bag when you first pulled it out. Most people only want to hear the content and they don't care where you are.
Thank you!! Yes, an excellent project bag for sure! But also really good for organizing fat quarters and the like. I prefer to present myself in the best possible light, best foot forward as they say, but getting fully made up and setting up the better equipment is holding me back on what I can produce. So I'm glad the webcam isn't off putting. With everything I have in my personal life right now, it's difficult to get everything done in a day, so I have to simplify things where I can. I have a lot of things to share, so this method should help me to produce more content for the channel.
I use mine to take fabric with for traveling projects. I go to my cabin every weekend in the summer and bring fabric for English paper piecing. I also used it to bring some fabric there to work on a quilt for a baby that’s coming soon (time sensitive.) I also lugged my sewing machine along for the weekend. When I’m going places that I want to bring extra fabric and fabric options with, I use these. Before these, I cramming fabric stacks into a backpack.
I am totally annoyed with myself that i missed the fabric storage bag sale. My fabric is in clear trash bags with peppermint and dryer sheets because i am so afraid of bugs in the old house.
It makes the biggest difference to have that code!! And thank you for using it when you purchase as it's going a REALLY long way towards supporting me and the work I publish.
When I click on the link for the 20% off Missouri Star, it just takes me to their website. I don't see any link for a code. Enjoy watching your videos! Thanks!
The discount doesn't show up until checkout. There is no actual code, just the link. You do need to spend $50 as a minimum, though. And not all items will count, but most do. I hope that helps!
TOO EASY TO USE!! Just curious, Patti...if I use your link but don't spend the $50 to get discount, does MSQC give you credit for me using the link? (I had an MSQC order that I bundled this week, so I added some of the daily sale items as the week went on - can't afford to spend $50 a day!!)
@@MartyLawless-kh2jd I think so but I'll ask to confirm Generally a sale through a link generates a commission regardless of sales amount. Thank you so much for asking about that. The commissions are incredibly helpful for me since youtube is barely paying us anything these days. And I know what you mean about the spending. I only have but so much room in here and I can't spend everything I make on more products. 😅 And I'm pretty well set on projects for quite some time.
How easily we are attracted to pretty things!!! I love MSQC, but my spending is getting out of control. It is great to buy fabric on sale, but they can't give me more time to use all these goodies!
I totally understand that sentiment! I'm personally going to destash some older stuff that's been here for a while. I can only make but so many things, myself, and right now I'm focused on sharing new projects made with what MSQC sends me every month.
Your garden is beautiful, I think your video’s are just fine without the professional setup…. I love the blocks you made with the Moon Child. Thank You for sharing 😊

Very nice unboxing ❤ enjoy your garden 🪴 it looks beautiful outside 🌞❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!
I love orange and I always have. I had an orange coat in high school. ☺️
I was never crazy in love with orange, but more and more I'm really enjoying it! It's such a bright and happy color!
Patty quilters are immune to dust!!
Oh if only that were so!! LOL
The larger version of that bag came in the first Jenny box (I think). I have my 2 scrap projects in it.
I"m definitely interested in the larger size version as well. They say 10" squares will fit in this one but I couldn't get mine into it, so I'll have to play with one in the daylight and see exactly what I'm doing. It's great for my charm packs and fat quarters though.

Cute storage bags
I like them a lot so far.
I love the Sewline white and pink markers for marking dark fabrics.
Oh that's a great tip!! Thank you! I'm new to these and I love them!

I bet it smells wonderful when you take some out to sew!!! LOL

Keep it simple in filming. It works great.
Thanks for the feedback!
7:48 is when she starts showing what she bought.
Thank you but the other information is still important.

Thank you so much! The Moonchild is super pretty. I'm really looking forward to making more blocks in that pattern.
Are you on IG?
Yes. Same name. 😄
