Thank you so much Jodi! I do appreciate such a lovely comment! I actually love the quilt just the way it is so I'm putting that border on and moving forward!!!!!! Cornerstones are SO HARD but so worth it.
Great video, Patty. I love your quilt, especially the 'individual ' block. It's a real statement in accepting each other for what we are. Very appropriate for these times.
@@PattymacMakes I'm a new subbie on your channel and I'm really enjoying it. So much so that I just ordered the same kitchen island and sewing machine table as you. I was looking forever and thank goodness for you. Does IKEA make any baskets to put in the kitchen island?
I’m OBSESSED with those trolleys as you call them and I’ve been shopping around and didn’t think about one from IKEA but they look better. Your comments helped me tremendously! See? The little things do help!
I love those Trolleys! I've bought a knock off version from Michael's and it's ok...I do like the color...but it's nowhere near as sturdy. I should probably do a comparison of the two.
Party I don't comment on very many videos but decided to seeing how happy it made you. I love your video's I have been watching for a while now thank you for all the time you put into them. I love all your quilts you do. I haven't quilted in 30 plus years and just getting back into it. And boy oh boy has it changed so much! And for my 62nd. Birthday last month my husband bought me a long arm so I am in practice mode learning how to use that.
Oh my gosh Susan!! I really appreciate you comment! And yes, quilting is kind of the wild west. Anything goes, and that's the fun of it to be honest. I'm having fun making my own stuff my own way, and not getting hung up on an error. An "error" because I like to think of them as design elements. LOL Well enjoy the long arm. That sounds AMAZING!!
The quilt is gorgeous. Love the colors. Thank you for sharing your IKEA finds. Please know we’re happy for a chit chat whenever you’re ready. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Hi Patty, Great job with the quilt. It's not about the mistakes but the labor of love that goes into it. No one will even know there are mistakes, they will just know that have a beautiful handmade quilt. Thanks for all your sharing and keep quilting. Be blessed.... Alberta of Southern MD
Hi, I hope you had a lovely day! I had a busy day in my sewing room, playing with strings of fabric and now I get to watch you! I hope you have a beautiful week ahead. Thank you for posting this video, sharing your time and talent.
I use one of the three-slot flatware organizers when I am quilting on my Ulmer frame. It keeps snips, needles, thread conditioner, thimbles, phone and chocolate - all of the hand quilters necessities- at my fingertips. I also use one in the top drawer of my cutting table to safely hold roller cutters, blades, and ruler handles organized.
Hello Pattymac, Your Quilt is absolutely beautiful and is uniquely yours with your "mistake". Do not fret. It's part of your life's story. Keep up the fantastic work! ❤
One more white border to surround the cornerstones so they float in the white. Then that is it. I would rip out the bottom left square just enough to move the four patches around and make it agree with the rest. It is easy to do now and you will be glad you did in the end so don't compromise now. Take a day off and get some new mojo and go back in for the finish.
Thank you so much for the suggestion Barbara!! I just don't have time right now to spend another day or day and half on fixing the blocks. I'm already way, way over what I planned for the time on this. I have to keep this moving along so I can finish it and start the next batch of things I have to work on. It's really not so much mojo as it is the time pressure. It is what it is and I will know to pay more attention next time.
Hey, Patty! I watched your video last year about the IKEA table and wanted one right away! We built a he shed/she shed and my room is for sewing at our mountain home as our house is very small and sewing makes noise! This table will fold up and sit under my double windows when not in use. I started looking at the Charlotte, NC store and there was none in stock. I looked at least 200 times since last October. I finally found that they should be available in June, but after watching your video, I immediately looked and they had the birch in stock. I sorta wanted white, but if I don’t like the way it looks, I will just paint it one day. I purchased on line and will be heading to Charlotte today to pick it up. I dread putting it together, but I am very handy and will get it done! Thank you so much for your information! It is very helpful!
Oh I'm so happy for you!!!!!! The birch table is gorgeous, and I still kind of wish I had it, but I love my white table all the same! Just split up putting it together over 2 or 3 days and it's not terrible. Once the drawers are together, it's mostly done. I have to check my store and see if it's come back in yet. Please do let me know how you like it once you get it together!
@@PattymacMakes Hi, Patty! I made it to the mountains yesterday at 1, unpacked, ate lunch, and then wanted to start on my table. My neighbor wasn’t available, so I opened the boxes inside my car and carried the pieces into my room. I used the cardboard to protect the table as I put it together. I did the drawers first. The most difficult part was the hinges. The palm of my hands are sore from trying to get the screws in. I had to get a drill and drill out all the holes. My biggest fear was going through to the top. I wrapped duck tape around the drill bit at the right level and you would not believe how much wood came out. When I finished with the hinges, I was ready to put the final part together, which was the 6 screws in the metal bar. Would you believe those holes were the right size. No drilling needed. It took me 4 hours due to the time with the hinges, but it’s done and beautiful. Wish I could post a picture for you! I just don’t know how. Thanks again for your advice!
Go to Walmart. I still found enough for what I needed. Limited but enough to keep me going. I had to take some things apart. Glad I did. This way I won't have any regrets. Love all you show.
To be honest, they are kind of expensive here. I stock my pantry with items from Aldi and Lidl. We have a store here called Food Lion that is also budget friendly. I have a pretty filled out pantry and long term food and everyday items storage set up. I figure at the least, it's a good hedge against the inflation that's coming. Thank you for watching!
Speaking of sewing tables, I bought a desk from IKEA that I can raise and lower in height and it’s MARVELOUS! I’m tall. I also use a cutting table that goes up and down and it saved my back! It’s a large Martelli table, expensive but worth it for me. Before I was limited in how much time I could spend cutting fabric but no longer!
I have bought the ones for a dollar and I just glued them together. Love all the stuff you are showing, I don't feel so alone on the things I do. Cutlery trays are good for quilt projects too. Good for putting your ecentials and take to the sofa with you. Yes just about everything is going to arrive 2 months later, is what I'm told.
Thank you for your wonderful ideas and suggestions, Guadalupe! Yes it's all about finding what we can repurpose and finding budget items to help where we don't have what we might need. The delays and the shortages are going to be real as we go into fall.
It came out gorgeous! I love your 🪴. Don’t be harsh on yourself. It’s beautiful 😍 it’s true about the rugs. 😁 There you go. See this video is awesome! Its you being you! Trying to be perfect is difficult. Now, we get to enjoy your videos! Wohoo!!! I like how you are thinking out loud about what you want to do and why. Please continue to let us celebrate your achievements!
Thank you so much Jeannie!! I really do appreciate your kind words and encouragement!! I'm still so surprise the videos are so popular all of a sudden, but so grateful.
Patty, love the quilt! You know what I like about your videos, you are so down-to-earth and relate to all of us. You talk to us like we are right there with you having a conversation over coffee. Hey, by the way, if you ever run into an issue with needing additional materials, thread, etc. - please let me know. Really, I have 3 JoAnns within a hour from where I am in Maryland; one is 10 minutes up the road :) And if I ship UPS by 5:30 pm from MD to Virginia Beach, it arrives the next day without extra cost. I know this because I ship things to my grand-kids all the time. Enjoy your weekend and keep the great "real" videos coming.
Oh my gosh Mary! You are so generous!! I have a couple of joann stores here so I am able to get to them if needed. I was kind of surprised that they were out of what I picked up just a month ago. I did have some trouble getting enough yardage on the bolts for this project when I bought what I bought for this project. But I should have plenty to get this one finished up....which hopefully is this week! Then I'm going to work on small things. I have some stuff in that chair under the backing fabric of things I've been wanting to make for a very long time. So when this is done, I'm starting there. I really do appreciate your feedback, and thank you for your kind words!
Oh thank you! I need to finish up the pattern on that and do a reveal on the finished quilt. I finally figured out a setup to show the bigger projects.
Oh my word, Patty! That quilt is gorgeous! I LOVE THE COLORS and DESIGN! You are so talented! Thanks for the IKEA purchase review. I like their organizational items. They just look classy... and very functional. Enjoyed today's video visit. Looking forward to upcoming videos, Patty. Thanks so much! From Cheryl in AZ
Thank you so much Cheryl! The glass jars are so, so pretty. I don't have shelves for displaying all my beautiful pantry items, but I do love the look of that farmhouse feel.
I agree with Judy.. every single quilt I have made has errors. Some are glaring.. some not. BUT! That is personalized and as you said about the people in india that weave rugs.. no one is perfect 💕 That quilt top is absolutely stunning!!! I made a gasp as I saw it! Maybe consider just a tiny bit of stippling in the red & blue areas with a nice thread with a sheen would pop! And stippling is sooooo quick & easy as you know 😉. Great seeing you again. Take care!
Thank you for that suggestion!!! You know how I am with the straight line and stitch in the ditch style of quilting. I guess it's as utilitarian for me as it is fast to do. By the time I get to that part, I really want the project to be finished. I'd love to be able to send some things out to a longarm but for now I am DIY all the way. I really appreciate you kind comments and support Annette. Thank you!
Love Ikea! I have the old version of the “new” Ikea SANDSBERG table. It’s $40 and I’ve been using it as a station for all sorts of projects for years. Doesn’t wobble when I sew which is a big plus for me.
That's great information Charley! Thank you for sharing that! I'm going to work on a new video about sewing tables from Ikea and I would LOVE to include this information along with your post if that's ok.
It took me a long time staring at the quilt to see what you were talking about. Only someone who is intent on finding fault is going to notice. I love that it's different. Thanks for the storage ideas.
I'll be going to IKEA soon. I want some Variera bins with the black inside, a wide Alex unit, and some deeper Fluggis bins for my sewing room. Their products are so versatile.
I love those Variera bins!! I keep one on my cutting table and it collects all the scraps I can't save. It keeps my workspace much neater. And it's easy to wash in the sink with dish soap to get the dust off after a couple of projects. I love Ikea stuff so much. It has really helped me to organize a small space and to have furniture that works for me instead of just taking up space. Have fun shopping!
Thanks Doti!! I'm going to work on one today. I think a series showing a few things it will do and how I've set myself up is the best idea. Otherwise the video gets too long and someone may not be interested in all the information.
Talent, beauty, grace and intellect--you have it all going on Patty! The quilt is fantastic, each row with a different block in my wonderful patriotic colors. I like your idea of keeping larger scraps like triangles to use in future quilts. I may start to go through what I have. I think I may have to rearrange the bookshelf in my stash closet to use small containers like you showed. Thanks for the heads up about rising prices and limited quantities. I trust your observations. Take care and get some rest lady friend. Sending hugs, ~~Lynne
Oh my goodness, Lynne. I do not deserve you!! You are so kind to me. Thank you! In terms of the tiny hst blocks, I've made so many things with those heart blocks this year, and the trimmings were too good to toss out, so I stitched them into tiny blocks. I have quite a few at this point so I can review them and see if there's a fun, scrappy item I can make. The small plastic bin took them nicely and it does appear the bin with 3 compartments will fit nicely into the drawer as I wanted. So I need to try that out. Lori Holt has a beautifully organized closet for her scraps. Her method for keeping that stuff straight is inspiring and very helpful. She's the master of so many things! So you might want to browse her channel for that information. It's interesting to see what's in the store now and what isn't. I don't shop all that often as I'm pretty well supplied, but it is good to 1. get out of the house and 2. see what's going on out there. I'm grateful I've been planning ahead for so long as I do believe it will really start paying off this year. It's a constant learning experience, but some of the new-to-me things I'm trying out, I really like. Like milling my own flour, and using dehydrated vegetables in cooking and I started seeds this year to try out a bigger garden using the square foot method in planters and pots. I'm even going to try growing two harvests of potatoes in 5 gallon buckets this year. I've discovered so many great channels to help me navigate all of this stuff which has been very interesting.
I brought the IKEA Nordon too at $199 last year and love it. $249 is still a good price for that table. Thank you for suggesting it. The imperfections in our quilts makes them one of a kind. Love your quilt
Thank you so much!! It is still a good deal even at $249 but better at $199. LOL I saw what I think is what they are going to sell as the replacement and I did not like it. I'm going back to the store this week to film more about what I saw. I didn't realize what a good video opportunity it was until I got home. Like I mentioned, it was an unplanned trip so I didn't have much of a plan going in.
Hi Patty, I’m a new subscriber, just getting back into quilting after taking about a three-month break. Your quilt is beautiful, I love the colors. Well done! It’s funny, I have heard that quote about perfection pretty much all my life (my Mom and aunt were both quilters), but attributed to the Amish instead of the rug makers. Either way, I concur. My kick in the butt to get busy again? My aunt (who is also my godmother) has gone into assisted living, and her children have given me her prodigious stash of fabric. So I have plenty of inspiration again. Peace from Ohio …
Welcome to the channel!! It's wonderful to have you here and I hope you will enjoy the updates and projects! Nothing like amazing inspiration to get those wheels turning! You should make her a throw to use in the facility. Maybe some pretty quilted pillows to go i the chairs. Anything to warm up the room. That's a difficult transition for everyone so my prayers are with you all. And it's a great way to get back into the swing of things
To me your ‘mistakes’ make your quilt unique! There is no ‘mistaking’ it for a commercially produced quilt. It’s very personally yours and of heirloom quality. Beautiful job!
LOL!!! It's just so funny I didn't see it until I started making the video! I'm going forward with it because I like the block and I also want to finish the project. It needs to be finished.
Patty, I love the quilt and LOVE your hair. I once had a half square triangle turned the wrong way in a quilt and never notice until I finished the hand quilting, needless to say, it stayed that way😅. It was a wedding gift.😂
LOL!!! Oh my gosh. Somewhere your guardian angel had a really good laugh over that one! Taking a picture before committing to sewing helps so much but I was just in such a rush to get this done I skipped that step. I don't think I've ever sewed as fast as I did on those last couple of rows and in getting the sashing put in on this project. I cannot imaging hand quilting a project. WOW! I did a little hand work on a wall hanging and even though I love how it looks, it took me all day to do 4 blocks. I don't think I would ever finish projects if I had to hand piece or quilt. I'm a machine quilter all the way. I am sure your gift recipient has not idea their is a wayward hst block and you can always tell her it was a design decision.
I bought an Ikea trolley and several from Michael's and I like the ones from Michael's more. The Ikea one is much harder to put together. It has very small screws that are hard to hold. The Michael's goes together much easier. And I don't see a big difference in how well made they are. I had 2 at the nursing home for my husband before he passed away and they worked great. Now they are home with me and they work well.
I can't remember putting my Michael's version together. It's still nice and I prefer the color but I love the ikea version so much. It's a big larger and more sturdy. It's amazing how much stuff they coral and keep straight!! Thanks for weighing in!
I remember it because I have some arthritis and lost a screw. They don't give you extras. I had to fudge it to get it together. I have put together at least 10 of the Michael's for me and as presents. I can do one in less than 30 minutes. Your quilt will be pretty when it is done...and fun to use.
Two things who cares if your block is wrong just call it a designer choice. Ok IKEA I need a trip to get the Dronjons I looked them up and we can hang them on the wall independently and I’m in love with the variera units with the green inside. My store is always out of wooden spoons. Have a good week.
Thank you sooooo much Gail!! It's definitely a designer's choice because I'm choosing not to rip it out. LOL!!!!!!!!!! The Dronjons are so functional. I'm not sure what I'd doing with them right now, but I will find the right thing. The variera with green are really pretty. I don't know what I'm doing with them yet, but they will definitely get use. Have fun shopping!
LOL!!! I'm moving forward on it. Taking it apart would cost me a full day or day and a half of production time and I really don't have that extra time right now. It's getting a border today and I'm hoping I can quilt it and bind it this week. I need to get it finished so I can move on getting the videos done about it. But I do understand it making you crazy. I will be more careful about putting blocks together next time for sure! Thanks for weighing in!
I’m so happy to have stumbled onto your TH-cam station! I like your style and the way you speak-so important to me! I would definitely leave the pinwheel block as is but I might have to fix that lower left block, only IF it requires rearranging the four quadrants of that block.
Thank you!! It's going to stay in as is. I just don't have the extra time to rip and redo everything. I'll leave it in as a cautionary tale to not rush through construction at night and when you're tired.
Your points are beautiful! I think when you accidently flip something, etc. It makes it personally yours. Also, it is a "Where's Waldo" for the receiver of this lovely quilt.🤗
The quilt is beautiful! I love the rich colors with the white. And your “mistake” makes it unique and more interesting. I always enjoy your Ikea finds, how you have used their furniture and other items in your sewing room is inspirational. I also like your real life videos as much or more as the edited ones 😊
Thank you so much for that feedback Amy! I really do appreciate it! Yes, I've been so bogged down with trying extra hard on everything, and it holds me back. So I'm going to work on doing these shorter, more conversational checking type of videos with everyone.
I just made a woven string quilt and hung up the top and found 5 little mistakes that now glare at me. Because I now know they are there they will bother me and I wouldn't want to sell it like that at all. The little mistakes are all on the edges and minor ripping out so I will make it all right. I noticed yours is on the corner and should be an easy redo. You will feel better about it. I don't mind ripping out seams when I am sewing clothing, but quilt block ripping is just so much harder because you have worked on it and anticipated finishing and elated it is finished , but I am going to make myself do it before I move on to next project. I love IKEA and have the desks for my sewing room and so does my husband for his home office. I also love the little carts you showed. I have one in my kitchen that I store fruit basket on top and my pot lids in the other two trays. Best solution for pot lids. They lay so neat and don't fall out everywhere.
Thank you! I finished it as is months and months ago. I like the quilt and I don't obsess over the mistake. Thank you for watching and leaving such a thoughtful comment.
Thank you for showing your things very good ideas. Sad about outage of things, can’t wait for your suggestions. I’d love to see information on electric quilt.
Thank you for that feedback! I'll share about the power station for sure this week. I do think it's important we all have some emergency back up power and having something that lets us keep sewing or stitching or reading comfortably is important in an outage situation.
I did that to a Christmas quilt turn one block upside down didn’t change it and don’t mention the mistake if someone notices it I just chuckle and say that’s what makes it one of a kind lol. Lovely quilt.
Hi Patty! Your quilt is beautiful. I love the colors you used. Don’t stress about a mistake enjoy the process. If you gift the quilt whoever receives it will be grateful that you made it for them. Have a great weekend. 💕
Thank you Jan!! I am planning to use it as my summer quilt. My other one is going to be too heavy and warm for summer. It looks like we finally have dry weather for an extended period so I can take it outside and take some video and pictures of it. It's too big to show inside. I have to get up on a ladder to show it off and it will touch the ground. I didn't want it to get wet or muddy. I can't wait to share with everyone!
Boy, we’ve all done that, had to do a redesign and then didn’t have enough to do something else. Sigh!!! But that quilt is a “gasp-er” as in, I gasped when I first saw it! That gold is gorgeous and really makes the quilt stand out. You have a lot to be proud of. I did pick out the flaws but only because it was lying flat and not quilted. I’m amazed at how much that covers any mistakes I’ve made. If you wanted to hang it, give it a name that incorporates the errors and it’ll look intentional! Lol.
Thank you!! I do love how it finished. I still need to get in some good pictures of it, so it's sitting there folded up until I can figure that out. It really looks great all finished up!
Love your quilt colors! I use the storage bins underneath the sink in the bathroom to organize lots of odds and ends. Mine are black on the inside. I really liked the basket/bins definitely will get those. Great haul. Looking forward to seeing the cart. Thanks!
Thank you B!! Oh yes, those bins are GREAT for all kinds of organization. I have some I use for corralling spices in the kitchen, too. I put my dried spinach in the jars and I really like now they sealed. And they look so pretty!
Thanks Mary!! I used my color wheel to make my decision on color and I swear by using it. I'm definitely leaving it in there. Ripping all of that out would be a day long project and I don't think I can stand it. LOL!!!!!!! I'm going for perfectly imperfect.
Hi Patty! I enjoy your videos sew much! The less editing the better ❤️ watching your videos feels almost like a visit with a friend….corny right? I love your quilt! I think I have a boo boo of some sort in everything I make! I hope you adapt the motto “Done is better than perfect!” It works for me lol! Looking forward to your upcoming videos and hauls….take your time! I think we all agree that you’re worth waiting for! 💗
Thank you so much Debbie!! I really do appreciate you supportive words! I'm glad the videos feel like a visit with a friend! I speak to the camera like I'm speaking to a friend so I'm glad it comes across like that. I'd like to do a LOT more uploading....it's really good for channel growth and views....so I keep hoping to get there.
Hi! Patty nice quilt even with the so called Mistakes. Nice that you designed it and made it yourself. I too have that software purchased it last year and has not done nothing With it as of yet. But, I see where you have pointed out 1 mistake on the 1st block in the last row. But, you also turn the last block in the 4th row is also turn the wrong Way. But all and all it’s still a very pretty quilt.
I wanted to rotate the blocks on the bottom row to give a wave effect with the blue blocks, so that part is what I wanted. The first block I got my 4 patch quadrants confused because I rushed through the construction. The software is great for some things but clunky for others. I haven't taken the time to do all the lessons in the workbook I got because I needed to be able to use it right away. It is not as functional as I would have liked, but it does let me play with color and moving things around quickly which I like. And it calculates yardage for a project which I really, really like. Those couple of things alone make it worthwhile for me. I used the yardage estimates it gave me when I purchased the fabric for this project. I did add a little extra as a buffer, but over all it did a good job in that regard. So this was as much a test of the software as it was a large project for me to make. I found some tutorials on YT which got me going.
@@PattymacMakes That’s on the quilt is very pretty anyway love the color chooses. Also Patty the software I have is the EQ8 have not gotten into it as of yet. But keep up the great work I enjoy your you tube videos. Thank you so much.
Your quilt is beautiful. I love the oopsy square. It's a corner piece so it looks intentional. Can you believe I have never been to IKEA? Hum. One of these days.
Thank you for saying that!! And I love the term oopsy square! You have got to visit Ikea! It's so fun and they have a cafe inside, too. I'm looking forward to going back SOON!
I love the quilt & the block is a design choice to showcase ur individuality. Great job! As far as scraps, I watched Fat Quarter Shop & she starches all her fabric, then cuts the scaps into their largest usable square or triangle & sorts them into labeled bins by size.she said she doesn't let them pile up. Just an idea. :-))
The Amish purposely add an error also, because only God is perfect. Your quilt is beautiful. No one will detect an error. Fabrics are purchased online. Miller’s Dry Goods has very nice quilt fabrics and they ship quick for $4.95. Amazon has cottons too. Thank you for the IKEA trip shopping, it was fun.
It took me a little while to see the different square. It doesn't really stand out that much . Uniformity always has a maverick component somewhere. Absolutely gorgeous quilt. Don't change it.
I love that you put a block in wrong, and declared, "I am not taking it out!" I'm with you on that!
Thank you!!! Yeah I don't like going backwards. LOL
It is fine and beautiful! Have a chuckle and love the beauty of all the versions of that block. Call the quilt "One of these things...." or "One of those things..." Thanks Nancy!! Oh yeah. I never go a full day without messing something up somewhere. LOL I appreciate you watching!
There are no mistakes! They are our creative signatures to our awesome creativity! BEAUTIFUL💝
Thank you Sandra!!
The quilt looks great. And remember, done is better than perfect! You just made it unique.

Hi Patty,
Great job with the quilt. It's not about the mistakes but the labor of love that goes into it. No one will even know there are mistakes, they will just know that have a beautiful handmade quilt. Thanks for all your sharing and keep quilting. Be blessed.... Alberta of Southern MD
Thank you for such lovely and kind words Alberta! I really do appreciate it! May you be blessed as well.
Hi, I hope you had a lovely day! I had a busy day in my sewing room, playing with strings of fabric and now I get to watch you! I hope you have a beautiful week ahead. Thank you for posting this video, sharing your time and talent.
Thank you Brenda!
I love “oops” blocks! Glad you are keeping it! Your quilt is beautiful and it has an extra little story. Thanks for all the videos!
Thank you so much!
Oh that's a fantastic setup! Thanks for sharing with us. I'm always so interested to hear all the ways we utilize the same items.
Patty, you're very welcome... Thank you for shopping and finding Good Ideas!
I honestly LOVE all these organizers and I'm using them right this minute!
Hello Pattymac,
Your Quilt is absolutely beautiful and is uniquely yours with your "mistake". Do not fret. It's part of your life's story. Keep up the fantastic work! ❤
Thank you Nancy!
Love, love, love the quilt!! You shouldn't look at what is not perfect but the perfection of the quilt as a whole.
Thank you for such wonderful advice!
That's a great suggestion! I know which item you're talking about and I am glad to hear from someone using one...and that it works so well.
That’s your signature block! Finished is better than perfect( as other quilters say). It’s my first time her, I love your style!
Thank you so much Kathy!!
Hi Patty! The quilts look great to me. Thanks for sharing your Ikea finds too
Thank you!! I love talking about Ikea!
I didn’t even notice until you mentioned it. I think your quilt is absolutely gorgeous. Love the colors!
Thank you!!
I love those type things f mistakes. It’s what makes them unique.
That's such a wonderful outlook! Thank you Karen.
Patty the quilt is absolutely beautiful I would call it perfectly imperfect😊
Oh thank you so much Cindy!
💝✂️ I discovered a way to sew faster and easier even as a beginner, I talk more about it in my channel, I hope it helps those who need it. 🥰💖
I really like the design of your heart block. I appreciate that it is a little flat on the top.
Thank you!
Beautiful and amazing quilt. Love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing and making your videos.
Thank you for watching Wendy!!
Wow! That quilt is stunning!!
Thank you! 😊. I still need to get that one written into pattern format. I absolutely LOVE how it finished.
The variera trays are very cute, especially the ones with the green inside. It's a good contrast. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much 😊
Oh my goodness, it is turning out g-r-e-a-t ! What a wonderful, beautiful quilt you have created 💕❤️💕❤️ ! Thanks for sharing your project.
Thank you Agnes!!
I prefer the laid back Patty Mac. You look.great. The quilt I am looking 👀 at is great.
Oh thank you! I need to finish up the pattern on that and do a reveal on the finished quilt. I finally figured out a setup to show the bigger projects.
I think the quilt is beautiful. Those are not mistakes!!!!!♥️
Thank you so much Tina!
@@PattymacMakes Your home exudes warmth and a welcoming feeling, Patty. Your selections just fit right in. Pretty! From Cheryl in AZ
@@rochestermanagementservice6082 Oh my Lord Cheryl! My house exudes pig pen at the moment. LOL Every room is a mess. Absolutely a mess.
So happy to see you again!
Hi Pamela!! Thank you!!
I agree with Judy.. every single quilt I have made has errors. Some are glaring.. some not. BUT! That is personalized and as you said about the people in india that weave rugs.. no one is perfect 💕
That quilt top is absolutely stunning!!!
@@PattymacMakes that’s perfectly fine with me! Looking forward to hearing your other ideas 😁
Wow! Your quilt is beautiful!!! I'm a newbie and appreciate your inspiring videos.
Thank you!! I had to put it away this week and work on other things and I'm anxious to get back to it
I love the quilt top. You always keep me adding to my ikea cart 😄
LOL!!! I love helping my friends find new things to love!! And thank you for your lovely compliment!
I love the videos where you just talk to us. I also enjoyed the items you picked up at IKEA.
Yay! Thank you!
It's a beautiful quilt. I like row quilts, too.
Thank you Carol!!
Lovely, I really like the strong contrasts!
Thank you!! I love the white background against the deep color tones. That way the shapes really show off.
It took me a long time staring at the quilt to see what you were talking about. Only someone who is intent on finding fault is going to notice. I love that it's different. Thanks for the storage ideas.
Thank you so much!!! I'm pretty excited to get it together!
Patty, thank you so much for sharing all your cool idea❤️…Great job on quilt!
Oh thank you!
Love your quilt and can't wait for the video on the power supplies
You did wonderfully. I always say "it would not be mine if there were no mistake". LOL
I have never completed anything with a couple of "mistakes" so I can totally relate!
Love the quilt and storage ideas.
Thank you Nadine!
I sure like your quilt color choices and design
Thank you!
Your quilt is beautiful…well done! Thank you for sharing! I also love your ikea finds!!
Thank you Marie!
To me your ‘mistakes’ make your quilt unique! There is no ‘mistaking’ it for a commercially produced quilt. It’s very personally yours and of heirloom quality. Beautiful job!
Thank you so much Christina!! I appreciate your kind and supportive take on it!
Hey Patty! I love your quilt! I had to look really hard for your “mistakes”. I think it’s a lovely quilt💕
Thank you Sandra!!
Shhh! Don’t point out a mistake, most people never notice. Your quilt is lovely!
Exactly
@@deedhc1647 Thank you!! I'm definitely excited about finishing it! I'm hoping I can get the border on tomorrow and start the quilt sandwich.

Beautiful.. great job.
Thank you!
Hi! Just found you, and I like your welcoming reality! Congratulations on designing your own quilt.
Thanks Evelyn!! Welcome to the channel!!
The quuilt is beautiful, but that one block would drive me crazy, so yes I would take it out and correct it.

They are so useful! And yes! I never get tired of going there!
Can not wait for the power video.
Thanks for that feedback Linda! I'm going to work on it tomorrow for sure!
Your pinwheel is spinning :) Thanks for the new video -- self knowledge is lovely...

LOL!! I love that thought!! Thank you Judy.
So I'm going to work on doing these shorter, more conversational checking type of videos with everyone.
beautiful work, we tend to be our own worst critic, , appreciate your work love
Thank you!!
I love your suggestion!! And I'm glad to know I'm in such great company! Thank you!

Lol.

Hi! Patty nice quilt even with the so called Mistakes. Nice that you designed it and made it yourself. I too have that software purchased it last year and has not done nothing
With it as of yet. But, I see where you have pointed out 1 mistake on the 1st block in the last row. But, you also turn the last block in the 4th row is also turn the wrong
Way.

Thank you so much!
The quilt is beautiful!
Thanks Cathy!
Thank you so much for the suggestions!! It's always appreciated and people do love to have options!
It took me a little while to see the different square. It doesn't really stand out that much . Uniformity always has a maverick component somewhere. Absolutely gorgeous quilt. Don't change it.
Thank you!! I really appreciate that!
you have the best hair !!!
Thanks Louise!! I decided to let it grow out a little. It's kind of unruly, but so am I!! LOL!!!!!!!
