Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood by Hiromi Arakawa is one of the most prolific anime and manga ever released. This series has a lot of mature themes but one that is very prevalent is the theme of sacrifice and ambition. With Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric the two brothers go on a journey to find the philosopher stone but this journey stems from their mistakes and ambitions. This video will dive into how Arakawa highlights sacrifice, ambition and human desire and how that relates to us in real life.
