    I really appreciate you taking time to cover painting chapter heraldry, like a chapter badge. Especially of later foundings where you can't really access any transfer sheets.

      @BrushandBoltgun  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers Rarepepe, very much appreciated. :) There's so many chapters with cool heraldry and slightly different takes on icons and markings. I'm trying to work through as many as I can, so there should be a whole lot more to go. :)

      @@BrushandBoltgun Be sure to look into The Scourged Chaos Warband. I love their lore and and colour scheme but their warband badge is rather intimidating, a paint magician like you could pull it off I'm sure ;)

    Your painting is so smooth and even. Even zoomed in, there are no visible brushlines, no inconsistencies in the paint, no overspill. I hope one day I can paint models even a fraction as well as this!
    A question: is it much easier to paint Primaris because of the larger size and more open stances?

    • @BrushandBoltgun
      @BrushandBoltgun  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers Nick, very much appreciated. :)
      Uhm, I'm not sure about easier as they have bags of little details, but it's different. I think after 20+ years painting space marines the Primaris have really jumpstarted me in painting them as they're similar, but different. I love how big they are too. Really nice miniatures too I reckon*! :)
      * disclaimer - not sure about some of the mould line positions, which are a sure sign of the work of chaos!

    Do you recommend watering down paints for power armour?

    • @BrushandBoltgun
      @BrushandBoltgun  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey there M_P, thanks for watching! :) To be honest, I don't water my paints down unless I'm doing freehand pieces. If they come out thin they may have been in a wet palette too long. :)

    Hello Maestro.. i have a question.. what do you think about Contrast Paints from GW?..i pushed the like button.. its my duty for all of your videos.. happy lockdown from vienna🇦🇹🇦🇹🇦🇹

    • @BrushandBoltgun
      @BrushandBoltgun  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers Jmike, very much appreciated! :) I've been playing about with the Contrast Paints a bit recently, painting up a load of Pike and Shotte miniatures with it (there's about 170 of them so painting them with acryllics would take WAY too long). Some colours are better than others, but I like some of the effects you can get. Will be doing a few vids on things I've come across over the coming months. Have you tried them yet? :)

      @@j.sternmercedes-benz2754 Yeah, they're really good, and an excellent way to bulk paint troops, or even paint up the bigger sections on individual models. I've seen some folk paint entire models up to an incredible standard with them. Very impressive stuff :-)
