They look boring and I'm all about it, all business like a black suit and no gamer BS. I'd give serious thought to a 267mm 7800xt blower, unlike previous blower cards which had 65mm fans these look ~90mm.
_NICE!!!_ . . some Asrock content. I like everything I see. One suggestion, the temp gauge at the base of the monitor stand is really nice, but what I would like to see is a well stacked and actually useful USB Hub. Like: USB-C 20GB + 2xUSB3.0 + 2xUSB2.0 + Separate Audio and mic, and finally, how about a system power button and volume knob? Right in the base of the monitor stand.
5:10 it would be nice if more or all motherboards above 100$/Euros would ditch the ALC8xx codecs and have a ALC12xx ones. There are a lot of 200$+ boards that still have those old sound cards.
ummmm @ 2:53 you SAID "you can have 2GB of VRAM" but did you REALLY MEAN "..2TB of VRAM" ???? because 2GB doesn't seem like something even worth mentioning here... so I AM a bit confused :)
Well it does look like it's running a *huge* (220B) parameter model just to show off the memory capacity. However, you'll notice that it says "You are running ExLlamaV2 without flash-attention..." - just as an FYI, that's because there is no up-to-date FA2 implementation (2.5.7+) for RDNA3 (and there's never been a working backward-pass one). Also sadly, ExLlamaV2 runs at half the speed of what it should be (say vs llama.cpp or based on calculating pure MBW) due to lack of optimization. If AMD cared, they probably should have just reached out to turboderp and sent him some hardware or something...
too bad they stopped making "high end" motherboards well I understand not many need 10gbe but I'm still using my z390 taichi ultimate with a 9900k and never had problems with it unlike MSI and Asus, the bios was great too
F*** type-C rear IO, that asrock board only had 8 ports and thats a maxed out modern expensive board. A Rampage V extreme (so also expensive board) had 20% more than that 9 years ago because type-A does 4high stacks. Also 99.9999% of all peripherals ever made are Type-A... A becaus that was the original, now we gotta buy 9 adaptors? It's meant to be *Universal* Serial Bus, at this point call it something different.
Activities in the front, business in the back.
I do love ASRock for that. They find a niche everyone else forgot, ignored, or never thought of and make something for it.
I really like the servers from ASRock Rack, looking forward to more deep dives and reviews.
7:01 you startled that woman lmao
XD
asrock employee just realizing shes in someones shot?
Love ASRock products, have 2 GPU's and 2 motherboards and a 1440P ultrawide monitor from them, they all work perfectly.
Question for L1T where there any interesting power efficiency improvement in server products??
More info on that Phison NAND-VRAM expansion technology, please. Reminds me a *ton* of Radeon SSG.
he covered it at a trade show a few months back, just search phison or something on the channel.
Are we finally getting and x870 livemixer with an add in chipset card????? 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Blower style cards always look so cool!

That 4K OLED screen looks like its worth the wait.

Yes some AMD stuff!
Excited for OLED, but I want a 16:10 or 1600p ultrawide. PLEASE
omg that nand vram tech i need it. how do i get my hands on it
Those cards look great! I hope they are priced around the same the normal cards. It looks like they'll fit 3U chassis, which is what i am looking for.
@Wendel I cant find a press release on the chassis that you were looking at for the x8 gpu server, can you add the SKU to the description?
Thanks, ASRock!
2TB SLC GEN 5 SSD? YOU HAVE MY ATTENTION!

That’s a lot to look forward to!
Thanks for the heads up on ASRock, I didn't know they made monitors and gfx cards.
yo, what is that IP address at 1:32? How is this a legal value that one can enter to the web browser, is this the IP of the NIC? 0_o
🤔
0.0.0.0 on Linux is also your localhost address. Not sure about Windows.
Glossy or matte as an option.. I've been waiting for the day. Glossy in a controlled environment is unmatched.
*_ASRock: Excellence UNLEASHED!_* 🏆
(Thank you, Wendell! 🙏🏼)
I use two 32` asus pro art monitors the PA329CV and the PA328CGV
OLED, clossy display, 4k or 34 inch? That sounds good for me!
Are we, consumers, going to be able to buy those SLC phison ssds? Seems like they would last you a lifetime
ummmm @ 2:53 you SAID "you can have 2GB of VRAM" but did you REALLY MEAN "..2TB of VRAM" ???? because 2GB doesn't seem like something even worth mentioning here... so I AM a bit confused :)
Lol jetlag yes 2tb
5 Tokens per second??? Is the price for that rig and it's power consumption cost good for that performance?

Now this is what I’ve been waiting for. Hope it’s affordable
At Approx 3mins i get the death spinning wheel!
too bad they stopped making "high end" motherboards well I understand not many need 10gbe but I'm still using my z390 taichi ultimate with a 9900k and never had problems with it unlike MSI and Asus, the bios was great too
Cool!
Intel servers? You must be referring to my brother Kendall.
It is amusing to see Wendell just talking non stop about all those products with no help as if he was just another employee.
Is there really enough room for those cards to breathe?
Oh dang I’ve never been this early idk what to say
Mystical creature at 5:43
Why are they doing AM5 and not Threadripper Pro?
Nvm they also do TR
?????????? entry level product,
4K or 10801? wtf!? how about 1440p!! EDIT: ahhh okay, i was gonna say!
AI really is going to be the next bitcoin for sky rocketing GPU prices again huh.

I don't get using an SSD instead of actual RAM. Surely even last-gen RAM is going to be faster, cheaper per GB, and more durable than SLC NAND
Unless you want multiple TB, then the platform and the RAM modules get really expensive.
The company name is so near the human anatomy that excretes solid waste.
AsRock seems to have a lot of cool products. Are they a good brand or another Asus? I really don't know to much about them........
