    Annapurna North base camp trek is newly open and off the beaten trekking trail in the Annapurna region.
    The trail was founded when Maurice Herzog, a famous mountaineer tried to climb the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna I before 1950. When they found climbing Dhaulagiri difficult, they opted for Annapurna I from the northern side. The area is entirely wilderness and very interesting for those who wish to explore the beaten trekking trail in the Annapurna region. The locals have worked off their sweat and toil to pave the trail, make suitable shelters and promote tourism in this route. It was a 3 days trek in the wilderness of nature and took a total of 5 days to be back and forth to our home,Tansen.
    The Diki Cho Lake formed by melting Annapurna glaciers is situated just south of the Tilicho Lake separated by Tilitso himal. Mountaineer come across this trail to summit Annapurna I (8,091m) from the North face,which is the 10th highest mountain in the world. This trek can be easily completed by the beginners as well but has to prepared for food and sleeping materials by themselves. We, team of four, travelled in motorbike from Tansen, Palpa to Pokhara and then to Tatopani, Myagdi where the natural hotsprings lies. Next day we rode 3 hours and experienced offroad biking from Tatopani to Humkhola.
    Narchang village serves as the gateway to North Annapurna Base Camp, with the road stretching from Tatopani, Myagdi to Humkhola, covering a distance of 21 kilometres. The Nilgiri Hydropower is a big project under construction which was reason for motor roads being accessible upto Humkhola. The trek begins from Humkhola with picturesque views. After approximately 10-12 hours of trekking (with rest) trekkers can reach tourist shelter near Diki Cho (Lake), situated at an altitude of 4,040 metres. Just an hour's journey from there lies the base camp, which is at an altitude of 4,190 metres.
    Day 1: Tansen, Palpa - Pokhara - Tatopani, Myagdi
    Day 2: Tatopani - Humkhola - Sadikharka
    Day 3: Sadikharka - Bhusket Mela - Diki Cho Lake
    Day 4: Diki Cho Lake - North ABC - Humkhola - Tatopani
    Day 5: Tatopani - Pokhara - Tansen, Palpa
    All shots were taken from mobile and editing were done from capcut mobile.

    Pls give the approximate walking distance from Humkhola to BC. If possible distance between each shelter from Humkhola. Also did you walk back from BC to Humkhola in one day itself?

    Epic shots in the end near the lake!!! I have done ABC and EBC...is the route well laid till the lake and are there any scary bits? Apart from lack of tea houses, should I be worried about any other problematic areas?

    • @Lenzmaniacc
      @Lenzmaniacc  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for your response..The trail is stone paved until the lake, there's no scary or other routes that you may get lost into, so pack your foods and warm gears and you'll do fine.

      Maybe they hiked slowly than us or maybe they are spending a night in basecamp which we didn't, there's certainly no such places where we could get lost in this trail, it's straightforward. If you have any queries you can call me on 9857065226.
