They literally did everything to keep her...but the whole country and k-pop stans qere against them...yhere were even lawyers going on TV saying how she is this or that which infuriated ppl even more knowing how sensitive that topic is in korea...anyways, no one cared about the truth...and they risked to ruin the career of the whole group, so she decided by herself to step down.....kpop stans were literally cursing hybe for protecting her at first si it's funny seeing the narrative switching and now they are being blamed for dropping her...plus how are lesserafim to blame for this? Are you in your right mind?
It was planned of Mhj when new g group of Hybe debuted. Like Illit got hate because of her & minions spreading hate. She's also why Youngseo didn't debut in Illit.

I think she asked to be let go of - since she knew court proceedings would still take about half a year in which she would have alone needed to take all this hate before the truth would have come to light - since all involved were underage and that ment that only she was known and the others could not even be interviewed/vouch for her in public. She was in a very bad place mentaly - possibly on the verge of selfharm. When the contract ended a friend uploaded the full school document that proved what had really happened and that Garam was more of the victim than the perpetrator. Nevermind that to this day a lot of people assume that Garam was in the wrong. But he has recovered and is moving towards a future of being an actress. I hope it works. But this case is going to follow her.
