Your verbal instructions sound clear. But i couldn't follow, as the right side & wrong side are so close in color. When i am sewing fabric that has close to the same color on both sides, i have to use washable marker to indicate which is the inside. (And i label it more than once in case of high humidity as i learned the hard way that washable marker can fade & disappear in humid Tennessee summers.)
While this could be a good video, I am apparently very visual! I would suggest using fabric that is not the same color as the background, and because you are sewing wrong sides together at first, use a fabric that clearly shows this, such as a print on the right side, and no print on the wrong side.
Your are very clear in your directions. I appreciate the clarity. Thank you.
Thank you :)

Is this good to also prevent fraying of linen as a type of seam?
Absolutely!
Good
