Pro tips: I highly recommend drawing this mandala while snuggled in a soft blanket with a warm cup of tea, a few squares of chocolate, and some cinnamon hearts.

What brush did you start with? I don’t have the one it sounds like your saying.
Thank you for the video, I just want to add an info maybe it will help you later .. I felt a little bit confused about what you did after drawing the heart shape and the way you fill it with white color. I just want to tell you that there is an easier method: after drawing the heart shape, choose the layer and press to see the option menu, then choose reference. Now open a new layer, drag it down the heart layer, then choose white color and drag the color to fill the heart shape. As a final result you will find that you have the heart shape (outline) and the white heart color (filling) are separated in two different layers. I wish this would help 🌷

Check out the steps from 2:07 - 3:16 :) Since we're applying the mandala layer as a clipping mask on the shape layer, the drawing stays inside the heart!

When I drop in colors there is always a fine white outline between the color and black mandala outline. What IS that and why does it happen? I hope you know what I’m talking about and have an answer.
I got tripped up at 3:44 because the voice over didn’t explain that the Mandala layer had to have “Drawing Assist” checked, but visual tutorial sped up super fast at this point and I almost missed what you did. I kept missing this point and couldn’t figure out why my drawing after this point was not being mirrored in the quadrants even though I did everything correctly up until that point.

I got stuck at 2:43 the outline did not turn white only a thing lime around the main clack out line
