I love your tutorials. I was always said it’s not about the brushes or tools but how you use them. I love how you teach foundational skills you can use and adapt to what is available to you.
Hi. Wow! This, and your original video, are great. I purchased your ultimate portrait kit and I will split the iPad screen with your video, on the left, and Procreate on the right. This is sooooo much fun! Thank you! Peace…Aria
This is the best tutorial on hair I’ve seen. I’ve been struggling so much and watched countless videos but this is the one that gave me the results I wanted thank you so much!!
At 1:03 you mention the premise layers. I’m probably just confused, but I bought the ultimate portrait bundle and don’t see that anywhere, I have the premade layers that have all the individual pieces like eyes nose hair and I can pick one of those, but I don’t see the one that has a prayer for shading or colors are things
Love every tutorial you do! I've been doing a different video everyday and I cannot thank you enough for all your work. I own your portrait bundle and I'm excited to get your water color and illustration ones!!
@@GenevievesDesignStudio Just like you did with the eyes and the hair, maybe you can make separate foolproof method videos for the lips and the nose. Would that be a good idea? P.S.: thanks for responding ✨
That's some GREAT ideas! Never would have thought to separate the lips and the nose from the rest of the face 🙃 I'll definitely work on it, although it'll probably take a few weeks.
I love all of your tutorials, they're so helpful and they've really helped me in creating digital art portraits. One thing I'm really struggling with is facial air, particularly stubble. I can't find a procreate tutorial on it, if anyone has any tips please could you let me know!
Can you do a tutorial on hair down with top half of hair a dark colour and bottom half lighter. Also what is the best way to get that natural wave look?

I didn't even watched others of yours videos, just this one, and smashed the subscribe button! I don't know if you are a professional teacher, but if you aren't, you definitely should become one! This is the way to teach others how to properly draw (or paint, or whatever), thanks, a new subscriber!
Wow, thank you! I'm in no way a professional teacher haha! In fact, one of the reasons why I created this channel was to challenge myself to get better at explaining things... so your comment definitely means a lot :)
I love your videos so much you’ve helped me to get through projects 🙏🏾 but I have a question? If a person has a mix of blonde and brown hair would I put them together in the base layer? Again Thank you very much for the videos I’ll love this channel!! 😁
The word ‘clumps’ makes me feel really uneasy 😅 but this was a really helpful tutorial! My new iPad arrives this week so I’m binge watching all your tutorials
I’m a bit confused though, how do I make the hairline look like yours here? Mine is still sharp shaped from the last video and I’m not sure how, since I’m only starting to learn how to work with procreate… did i miss any steps?
Do you give out your personal email? I know you mentioned you illustrate for children's books. I am looking to do a t-shirt project and wanted to buy/copyright some images. I love your artwork!

Can you please do a tutorial on hair that is flowing down? Love your videos . I’m learning a lot!
Thank you so much! It's on my list :)
This is so beautiful, and very easy to follow along with. I wish the bundle came in separate pieces so I could just get the hair brush set.
This was exactly what I needed to finish my project!! Your instructions are perfect, thank you so much!
Yay! So glad this was helpful 🥳🤍
Loved this tutorial! Definitely helped me figure out a better way to draw hair on procreate. Thank you so much love your tutorials. ❤
I SWEAR THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GIVING ALTERNATIVES TO THOSE EXPENSIVE BRUSH SETSSS
This is so detailed. Awesome!

What brushes did you use?

Thank you, this was very helpful, you have the best tutorials :D
Hi I was just wondering after I brought the brush pack how to I get the layers to show up in my layers section like yours?
I learned a lot from this one. Can you do one with hair being down sometime?
I'll add it to my list! Thank you for the suggestion :)
Omg thank you this was so useful :)
This was great, Genevieve! I wish I had the ease in drawing loosely as you do. I'll keep practicing. What are the effects layers for?
Thank you so much for this! I think this is one of the beat hair tutorials I've ever seen! I'm going to follow your insta!
Hii! Amazing tutorial! Can we please have more tutorials related to the portrait bundle?
Thank you! Is there a specific thing you'd like to learn? I'm not exactly sure what else I could cover haha

I don’t have the brush lines like the hair or the eyelashes thing

A wonderful and well put together video. First one I’ve actually understood when it comes to hair. Thank you and everyone stay safe
tysm for this tutorial it was very helpful!🥰🥰 I was so stuck with hair before this😂
Brilliant tutorial
Awesome 😃 thank you 🙏🏼
I downloaded your brushes but I don’t know how to add them to Procreate
AMAZING! Thank you
Almost 7k views and less than 300 likes 😔 you deserve better than this. Thanks for another great tutorial 👍I have enjoyed all that I have watched.

Hahahaha sorry 🙃
So beautiful 😍 wich iPad do you use?
Thanks, Sofie! I have a 12.9-inch iPad Pro, 3rd gen (2018)
Is the Fibre courte a default procreate brush or how do we get it please?
Is it a default brush! :) Not sure what the name would be in English... probably ‘short fiber’ ?
Is there a way that I can get those hair brushes only and nothing else?
Not for now, but I might eventually create a 'hair' brush pack :)
I’m a bit confused though, how do I make the hairline look like yours here? Mine is still sharp shaped from the last video and I’m not sure how, since I’m only starting to learn how to work with procreate… did i miss any steps?
The skin will be hidden at the end, so as long as it is high enough it doesn't matter if the edge is sharp or smooth 😊
