Just now purchasing GA cards after giving it a bit of time to get out into the market this year. Dropping the first edition stuff would be a nice thing to see… it’s never made sense to me as a Magic player.
It looks like GA is trying to reach into collectors side of thing with the 1st ed thing. I remember what happened with Flesh and Blood first ed issues. I really hate how Flesh and Blood deck was relying on cold foil equipments which cost a fortune. (Main reason I dropped the game). I think the best move is probably release both first ed and unlimited version at the same time (different price/different print size). Let the player/collector decide which one they want to buy. I am one of those who will probably try my luck one 1-2 first ed, then just buy single (cheaper) cards to play on my deck.
@@TheKaijudist The equipment was really killing the game for me, and those "c&c" cards. I gave up pretty much after Everfest as I couldn't keep up with building new heroes competitively. Don't get me wrong, it is still one of my fav tcg, but I am just not playing anymore. Hope GA won't grow in that direction.
Wrong. This game is awesome and has support for its collectors plus player base. It is competitive and the play decks can be built with a relatively small amount of money compared to other big ones (almost like Pokemon).
@@darknebulas1167 I agree, GA definitely need more format. They even still need to tinker with sealed (which is still very lacking right now). But it is only in its first year, the second set is not even out yet. It is good to see that Weebs is not rushing anything out of their door. Solid basic play, target the right target market then expanding it accordingly is the way to go. Just like Flesh and Blood was. I even think GA has a better collector side of things compared to Flesh and Blood.
This one is a bit different. I'd say this game is extremely fun to play and the people behind this game is different. Now things might change, but I don't feel the same with this one as many other new TCGs. I'd say GA is a more player heavy game than many other new games.

Yeah, if you are a MTG player, you will really enjoy the gameplay as well. It is very similar and THIS GAME HAS THE STACK!

FAB is pretty cheap since they did away with 1st edition and added the Expansion Slot

GA wants a 50/50 mix of collectors and investors which I think is really a good idea. But executing this idea is not easy
@@SolarGamesllc for sure, I think it will be good if they can. Let the customer choose where they want to spend the money at.
They have reprinted all the key cards including Spring Tunics so they are all drastically cheaper@@Tronjheimr
The only thing you "Must" know about any new game, is that in 5 years, it probably won't be here....
Wrong.

@@Tronjheimr the only problem is the number of formats, being a magic player I am used to having around ten formats for all types of players

We're all going to drop dead some day, yourself included
