I will never dislike the tenor solo of Tuba Mirum! Its so powerful and brilliantly contrasts the Bass introduction

And in Latin Tuba means trumpet
all soloists are spot on, beautifully done. While I am not a fan of vibrato in the choir I do find when doing solo work it helps warm the tone and can be used to advantage. All four soloists were wonderful.
All main singers have beautiful voices
Beautiful. One of the most beautiful performances of "Tuba Mirum" I have heard. I always present this piece to children when I want to show them what the main four types of voices in a choir sound like. We have a distinct bass, tenor, alto and soprano here. Plus there's unisono at the end. Beautiful and short. Just right for children.

I always found this one beautiful but even more so after learning the meaning of the words -- at the end: "cum vix justus sit securus" -- when even the just are in need of mercy on the day of judgment. All coming before God to face their deeds. Even if you don't believe literally, it's still profound!

A real bass! The low notes sound as though they're in his range. On a recording of this work with Bryn Terfel, whom I normally like, the low notes drop out. This is not an easy part!

Sooooo flat
This isn’t tuned to A=440. It’s at Classical pitch, which is around a quarter step lower than modern pitch. In the time of Mozart it was approximately A=424. Not sure what exactly this orchestra uses, but it’s intentional.
