This is the essence of Mozart. Everything about this exudes beauty, perfection, divine inspiration, complexity of character, and the pain of his own mortality.
The poor composers who had to compose in this man's shadow... and the fact that he is so early means that that's MOST of them.
El fue el genio más grande de la música y usted lo sabe
Here's a shout-out to the sound/recording engineers that make this a delight to my ears!
This is definitely the most beautiful version I have ever heard, even on TH-cam. It is clear and simple. The performers are incredible. When the word "in Jerusalem" is sung, it brings tears to my eyes.
When the outer voices are described it sometimes falls short in preference to the Soprano, but here there's the solid bass. And none of the voices are left behind. A strong performance . Bravo.
I was looking forward for this, I think it's the best version of Requiem one can find in TH-cam.
Hell yea
The piercing of the voices and blends are extraordinary
Perfect harmony
Simplemente increíble, las voces suenan muy bien y la interpretación es majestuosa.
Best version ever heard
Thank you for sharing. I’m literally in tears. This is incredible. Thanks

Aqui esta su última obra maestra...
Fantastic! I'm a couple of centuries too late to remark how astounding the writing is, but many thanks for sharing such a committed and marvellous sounding performance.
Nice to revisit this
amazing performance by professional chorists. I think I've never heard such a wonderful triad as the "et lux perpetua" at 1:29, such in tune
What a moving and lovely rendition!
Thanks for share!!!!!
Really nice. Thanks for posting.

WOW! They can really give the British early music groups a run for their money. Excellent!

😍😍😍😍😍
Those sounds sooooooo good! The best beginning I've heard. I could discern each voice and instrument. Love it.
you should also listen to kertesz version. according to me it is fantastic for the same reason.
Where are the lyrics of this?

Requiem æternam dona eis, Domine:
et lux perpetua luceat eis.
Te decet hymnus, Deus, in Sion,
et tibi reddetur votum in Ierusalem:
exaudi orationem meam,
ad te omnis caro veniet.
Requiem æternam dona eis, Domine:
et lux perpetua luceat eis.
Kyrie, eleison.
Christe, eleison.
Kyrie, eleison.
