Hi all!) I'm Russian. I was in Malmö for a month. And the first thing I recognized at very first moment - it oozed with magic. That was my first feeling. I really enjoyed being there. It's very placid place with very nice people. Charming architecture and cosiness is everywhere. It's very comfortable town for living. Since that time I love Sweden and Swedes
Lived in Malmo for 3 months. I went to probably everywhere on a map I saw of things to do. Also if you go back, check out the castle since it's supposed to be the oldest in Scandinavia.
I've been there 3 moths ago. Malmo is great, I met some really nice and friendly people, but I heard, that more than 30% of inhabitants is not from Sweden. Is that true?
I stayed in Malmö for a few days when i was hitchhiking through sweden, and also visited a few years before. i can recommend the two STF Hostels, one in the center and one at the north of the city close to the...erm A7 i guess. Also i can recommend renting a bike and ride to the turning torso and have a look at the brand new estates there.
@Hibbicon What is the limit of the immigrants’ tolerance? Or perhaps you meant to ask what the tolerance of the Swedish people is? Exactly whose tolerance are you referring to? Those invading or those invaded?
Det är ganska kul att åka till skåne typ någon gång om året och dricka mjölk där XD Det smakar grädde innan man vänjer sig och då är den lika god som den man brukar dricka ^^ ...kanske godare......vad fan snackar jag om?
@fabbe1330 really? is that bad? i mean there are ghettos everywhere in famous cities like paris, new york and not talking about bucharest. Is malmo so dangerous ?
@TheCali68 why making a pessimistic picture of it ? do you live or lived in Malmo before ? and besides every place in this world someway somehow has its own benefits or cons. It depends what point of view people has. Well, I dont care how people think, I am born and raised in Malmö and I am satisfied with this city
@Dovenpeis I didn´t say there´s no races. There are small adjustments in races to for ex. adapt to the climate and amount of sun light. I however said we are already mixed with other people for a looong time and I also don´t see the problem with it.
You cannot call "boring" to any place in the world. If you feel bored, I am afraid you are in the wrong place. It could be great for others in many ways. It all depends on what "kind of trip" you want to live.
Jag älskar Malmö. I love Malmö. I'm a son of Gothenburg and from what I've learned, People of Malmö aren't overly impressed with our particular ideas of running a country. But we actually love your city. Let's stop uncontrolled immigration to Malmö and keep Malmö Scanian!
The three panoramas that comprise this video unfortunately do not represent even a fraction of the city, its history, or its culture. Unfortunately, no video online does. I've brought this to the attention of the regional development authorities. Let's see what results.
I was in Malmö a month ago for 1 week, as a french tourist... I'm sorry, guy from Lund :-) , would like to trust you, but I've found my trip far from being boring! Maybe because I'm just having a new "root" there :-) Anyway I've loved the town...
@Dovenpeis So it's no longer swedish city because a lot of foreigners live there. So if a place gets inhabited by people from antoher country that place is no longer what it used to be before these people came there? Sure some things change but there's no drastic changes. And I think the swedes that live in Malmo get very offended when people claim that the city they live in is not a part of the country they come from.
@Rimshiii The indigenous Swedish people are being displaced by the fact that Malmö, and actually the whole of Sweden, has a large and a rapidly increasing population of something entirely different than Swedes.
I spent 3 weeks in august last year staying at the radisson hotel in malmo whilst i was working at tetra pak in lund. The hotel was fantastic, and malmo itself seemed like a very nice place. The people were friendly and the women are HOT!! I could move to malmo for that reason alone!! All in all i enjoyed my 3 weeks there and i would recommend it for a weekend break. This was my 1st time in sweden and it has encouraged me to go back, perhaps to stockholm or elsewhere to see more of the country.
I thought Malmo was pretty awesome for a day trip, but definitely not a week long vacation or anything. Check out my trip to Malmo from Copenhagen in the video responses: Getting Real Danish - Trip from Copenhagen...
@Dovenpeis Där finns olika översättningar för detta ordet och dessa olika ord har inget med varandra att göra, så jag behöver iaf en förklaring av dig på vad du menade.
@Andresancho1 I went to malmo today, though swedish is the predominantly spoken language, I found quite a few people comfortable with english,, and they are very helpful.
@mondeoee We have no integration politics whatsoeever. Immigrants live together in ghettos whith high unemployment and not surprisingly high crime rates. It is very hard for any immigrant from out of Europe to get an employment. How are things working out in Norway? (Sorry for being curious and looking your nationality up). I´m courious cus problems seem to grow all over Europe.
Stockholm and Copenhagen have much more to offer than Malmö, still Malmö is worth spending a day or two in if you're visiting Copenhagen and/or South West Skåne/Scania.
A very interesting movie. I hope to visit it one day! Greetings!

@Dovenpeis Men de som klarar att förstå vad det handlar om behöver väl inte lida för att vissa Muslimer är galningar?

The 3rd largest city in Sweden, can't stress this enough!

`Wow there is freakin cool
I'm going to Sweden in this year,I can't wait!!!
the "M" in "BMW" stands for Malmo. BMW - "British Malmo Wagon"
Malmö is a very nice city.
It is not like Stockholm or Copenhagen, but it sure features some nice restaurants.

Thanks but that statue is definitely King Gustav.
@d1iiiiif92 You don't know German, do you?
@Rimshiii

That is amazing. Next time we must say hello :)
I hate religious comments on a simple nice video of a beautiful city...
I'm going to the opera house next week - malmo looks so pretty and tranquil, not at all like english cities:)
Have now. Shows how rooted the world is in 50 years.
I thought Malmo was pretty awesome for a day trip, but definitely not a week long vacation or anything. Check out my trip to Malmo from Copenhagen in the video responses: Getting Real Danish - Trip from Copenhagen...

The swedish capital is Stockholm and Norway's is Oslo
An awesome place :)
@Andresancho1 I went to malmo today, though swedish is the predominantly spoken language, I found quite a few people comfortable with english,, and they are very helpful.
is it pronounced Mal-moh or mal-mur?
Oh btw, I also heard this place is being taken over by muslims.
@mondeoee We have no integration politics whatsoeever. Immigrants live together in ghettos whith high unemployment and not surprisingly high crime rates. It is very hard for any immigrant from out of Europe to get an employment.
