Come along for 2 nights as we make improvements, and renovations to my wooden lean to.
Temps are cold, but the fire and good food is hot.
Wooden walls, and a roof are built, as is a cooking tripod, and a 2nd bed/bench.

Id want my dog to have a burrow area under my bed with a blanket. Nice sheltered warm area. Would need to build a little wall to prevent sparks bouncing at them.

Hey Joe! I've been a long time watcher of yours and I always enjoy the content you produce. You have inspired me to get back outdoors. I am a cancer survivor and am now permanently disabled with a lot of nerve damage in my lower abdomen. However, I discovered that constant yoga practice has helped make me more mobile. I went camping for the first time in over 10 years last weekend. Yes, I was in pain, and after I got home I had a few bad days, but to me, it was well worth it to spend a night in the NC mountains under the stars. We're planning a multi-night trip for January as I love winter camping the most and I am so excited. I wanted to thank you for inspiring me to find a way to get back outside. I am so grateful that I found your channel and as always, I look forward to your next video.

NimyX 》 I think you may need to do some in depth research on Yoga. I'm a devout practicing Catholic and I have never attended a class in which my instructor ever did or said anything that was un Christian in anyway. While its true that Yoga can be used in the Buddist and/or Hindu faiths, you do not have to be a Buddhist or Hindu to practice yoga.
Because I live in North Carolina, some of the new students in my yoga class have raised concerns about yoga being a sin and my Christian instructor told them the same thing and that if it really bothered them then they could pray or concentrate on Christ and on God while doing yoga.
The bottom line is that yoga isn't a sin. Its not some twisted metaphysical ritual used to call on Hindu Gods and Goddesses or on Buddah. It is simply a form of deep and intensive stretching that can be used as physical therapy, meditation, excersise or strength building.

Funny how easy you make all this look. I haven’t camped in years, old in the tooth... but the moral of the story is you should always be doing something unless you’re eating and two hours before sleep (beer haha). Brings back so many memories camping in the Adirondacks. Good stuff!

An educated human is far more capable of survival then your average dog, just make sure you're properly clued up if you ever go camping :)

Being in nature, seeing nature, and hearing nature actually causes you to relax. I forget where it was, but there was a study that proved it. It's relaxing because when watching videos like this, it basically tricks your brain into thinking you're there and makes you relax. That primitive technology channel, where he doesn't talk at all and I'm pretty sure there's no music. And it works best if you're looking to really relax, but you have to sacrifice verbal instruction and humor.

I love all your videos, I’ve only been camping a few times in my life and as I grew up my family stopped doing stuff like that but seeing your videos and others who do this kinda stuff really gets me wanting to do this. Especially in the snow, I love the snow and I had no idea about camping in it and the hot tents are such cool things that I gotta get one and try it out someday hopefully

Well done bro!! I have built two shelters. One looks very similar to this, the other is more an igloo made of sticks, mud and leaves. A “hut” if you will. I have never brought a steak to my overnight as big as the one you have lol. Again, well done. Good workmanship on your camp✌🏻

You make camping fun but also a learning experience as well. I have done some primative camping in the past. Do Canada have sassafras tree? The bark from sassafras tree make a great tea. Try it. Hi Joe. I'm from London UK and just saw you enjoying fullers English Ale. I recommend you try old speckled hen or abbot ale. They are full flavour ales , great with steaks. If you're up for a challenge try hobgoblin that's an ale to wake the senses !

I really enjoy your videos. I like the way you explain everything in detail and show it. I love how you enjoy your food and just being out there. Your personality draws me in. Now I'm a child of the 60's and an old hippie chick from Miami and your personality reminds me so much of all my old friends. I've never been a camper because I don't like being uncomfortable though I do like being in the woods (just not overnight) and I've always been adventurous and brave and athletic and I love watching the survival videos. I also greatly enjoy finding out about how other people live. It really interests me even if I don't do it.

The idea behind the "Vintage Ale" is that it is a higher alcohol content so you can cellar them for later. I have a few of the brand you have there , Fullers, on the go, the most recent is the 2015 which is due to be consumed (according to the label on the back of the carton ) in 2025. It is a really different taste, very smooth and a bit more fruity if you let it age a few years.
Found the home brewer. Yep. These were meant for cellering, that way when you dust one off in 2022 that vintage label means something. Though you should be buying one every year so you can do a proper flight over 5.
