They don't always unscrew, they have some glue from the factory preventing the wire from unscrewing. The same on the other side at the coil.. the wire is screwed into the coil, but then they put glue on top of it. So it's best not to mess around with a part like that.. If yours turns and comes out easily from the connector, then it's different than the one I had.
@@CleverFix thanks for the reply. Yeah it seems like i have an other connector. Unscrewing definitely safes some time but not too much that it makes much difference. Thanks again for your good videos.
I added an Amazon link in the video description, check that, and it also shows some part numbers on the top. There's a big variety of part #'s that all are pretty much for the same coil.. so it's not just one number. Many manufacturers come up with their own number, but it's the same coil.
@@CleverFix Well if I would've just expanded the description I would've seen the link but thank you for still taking the time to not call me an idiot and actually answer. I have a Dewalt power washer that has this Honda motor in it and it currently has no spark. I was told this was what I needed to replace, I have now ordered one and will give it a go this weekend. Thank you for the easy to follow video.
@@CleverFix IT WORKED! Thank you for the very easy to follow video. Got a brand new Dewalt 3600psi power washer that was returned to the store for the cost of this part and a little time.
@@abrahamhandsThat's great, wow! Dewalt is nice, that's a rare pressure washer around here, 3600psi is a lot of power. By the way, I added the link there after you asked for it, so it wasn't there before. I get asked for links very often, I just haven't gotten around to checking all my old videos that are missing them, but it's on my To Do list now. Thanks for the comment and watching the video!
********* Thank you for a excellent, detailed video. presently working on a GX120, and I thought I may have to remove the flywheel !! "Simple job" *******
No they shouldn't be, especially on Hondas! On some clones there will be some problematic ones for sure, but the problem really happens when a mouse 🐁 decides to eat the wires 😊 that's what happened to me. Even then though, the spark plug lead can be unscrewed out of the coil and a new one put on, but I ended buying a new one just in case because it's so cheap.

Brilliant video, really clear no waffle, no heavy breathing, simple and clear to understand… well done 👌🏻
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you for the feedback!
Your video Sir is so loud and clear makes it easier to understand.
Thanks!
Hi, thanks for the Video. But why don't you just unscrew the Sparkplug connector from the cable to get the cable through without disassemble so much?

What is the part number for the Coil Pack you used?

ANOTHER EXCELLENT VIDEO. Crystal clear. Thank you.

Are the coils problematic on them?

@@CleverFix thanks. You know it's nice that the coil isn't mounted underneath the flywheel.
Amazing video!!! Now I’m going to have attempt it😅😅
Very well presented thsnk you
Thanks!
Does the coil need to touch the wheel? I replace mine and now wont start 😂
See 2:56 for the gap size, no it should not touch.
Thanks
