  • I separate vocals from Suno composition, convert to Synth V voice and extract MIDI chords.

I like your videos, they gave me a quick start. It's wonderful to immediately set your own lyrics to music with Suno and sometimes the mood of the lyrics is interpreted differently by Suno. Through these videos Steinberg was able to sell a SpectraLayer Pro. :) This is exactly the tool I was looking for. Another very informative video.

Spectralayers is an unbelievable tool... I'll be making some videos that feature it a lot more.

Very useful to see how you process the isolated vocal to improve the quality of Synth V detection. Since I am trying an extremely similar project (Suno AI + Synth V + Cubase Pro), I find this part the most challenging so far. Especially when Suno decides to have doubled, or tripled, vocals, washed in reverb!

    Mark... Great work!
I've learnt some new stuff again. 👍😎
Maybe I can give you something I have learned which may help with the annoyance the SVS gives when editing the MIDI and that is the 'Link Editing Tool' button. This is in the Piano Roll on the RHS of the pencil/edit button. Activate it the next time you edit to see what is does! Saves you having to remember to click the editing tool. 😎😊👍 I keep it on permanently.
    Looking forward to Part 3.

I have tried the link tool... it's still awkward. I'd rather have it so that the pointer tool is active and the others could be temporarily activated whilst holding down the CTRL key. So, hold CTRL and draw a line, let go of CTRL and you're back to pointer only. Bottom line is Dreamtonics should give us far more "customizing" capabilities.

To my ear, first chord sounds like Cm. Also, vocal uses Eb, I think, so... 🤪 Great tutorial in any event. Thanks.

You're right! If I had left the vocals in the analysis it would have registered the Cm as the instruments are really only playing C5 - there is no Eb, but only a very faint E... which is a third order harmonic of C! Weirdly, I quite like the "borrowed chords" and may adapt the vocal, or chords, when I rebuild the track.

Do you know if we just needs to buy the voice or if it's required to buy the pro version as well? Sounds great by the way.

You'll need the PRO version for the Audio to MIDI feature. I think you get a discount if you buy a voice at the same time. Solaria is the most versatile!

    UDIO is even scarier

The "vintage interlude" music I used with the Audacity sequence was generated by UDIO. 😎

@@mixphantom0101I’d like to know what you think of Udio. From the little I’ve tried Udio, amid all the hype in TH-cam, I get far more useable results from Suno. But Udio, and Suno, will surely improve, so it will be interesting to see how they develop.
