Thanks so much for this Martin. I am from Trinidad and Tobago and my wife is from Bogota Colombia. On 23rd April 2018, we started a roadtrip from Miami up the I95 to Queens NY, then to Providence RI. From there we then drove to Buffalo to Niagara Falls, Then to Medina Ohio on our way to Little Rock AR. we took the I40 across to Las Vegas passing through Santa Fe. We went up to Taos NM. From Las Vegas we drove up to Yellowstone Park. We then went to Washington State and proceeded don to Oregon then to Yreka Cali and down to LA. Your video is so wonderful that it brought back all this spiritual sentiments I felt during this trip, Thank you so much.

Great clip Martin and it's been great to watch your trip, I'm from the United Kingdom and on August 21st my and me son are going to Denver before going up through Wyoming through Casper to the Grand Teton park the through yellow Stone then across through Cody over the Bighorn mountain pass the Gilette to see Devils tower then down to Mount Rushmore and crazy horse monument, and try to see as much a possible.
Going to try and do all this in 8 days about 2000 miles, you have inspired me to vlog it as much as i can and made me start uploading my Florida trip.
Thanks for sharing been a pleasure to watch.

I appreciate the much more fluid motion of this time lapse than your average long-distance time lapse (some of which were likely originally videos)... and I especially appreciate it much more than resorting to Google Earth street views of I-40... which I still appreciate a lot.

@@mannyortega6733 anything on I-40 is pretty safe. Towards the center Amarillo is safe and cheap. Pretty quiet. Further west try to avoid Albuquerque and stop in Santa Rosa or Tucumcari - exit 275-330 right off 40, both places were pretty quiet and safe. It might have changed since 2011, but there’s really no place on 40 that is “dangerous” aside from ABQ or city center of OKC.

I think that section you drove in Nevada will eventually become I-11 that connects Las Vegas to Reno. I've been to both and I have to say, I like Reno a little better than Las Vegas.

A little bit too much night time driving where you can’t see anything. Cool video though.

This was supposed to be fun but truck driving has ruined road tripping for me. I like to see the country but I never want to see another Highway again.
The part going through Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas were cool tho I’ve never been that far east yet.
