- Really enjoying just having a few ideas, putting a piece of artwork together to look at, Then hitting record to just see what happens and improvise away letting the visuals guide me.
12 String Mule Tri-cone in Open B minor Tuning, B F# B D F# B I always find Minor Tuning is tricky to do anything with other than the usual 5th 7th and 12th Fret 'spooky' chords but this whole recording was a way to find some other places to go,
Some of the chord choices probably arn't actual chords, I just move my fingers around until it sounds about right so I have no idea theory wise what's happening... with the character being on another planet I'd say they use a whole different musical structure... that's my excuse anyhow. I didn't think of whistling until I started and the power chord thing was just made up as I panicked with where to go but I enjoyed coming up with this one.

Next I'm thinking of using Mulecaster / or the 12 String plugged in with some Synths and a similar idea to help find some new ideas, Hopefully before Christmas !

Another awesome one dude. I know what you mean about sort of getting in a rut with open minor tunings. I have run into the same problem myself. Been trying to learn new scales in those tunings and trying to polish up my slide playing in standard tuning to get around it. However, think that you do quite well with the minor tunings that use.
