Josh, if you can plow with that, im gunna take the video and throw it at my tractor dealer that told me L3800 cannot plow/ rip with more than 1 tyne, or use a rotary hoe.

A L3800 should easily pull a 2 bottom moldboard with 12" plows easily. I know guys who pull double 12's and a few guys that pull triple 10's with large garden tractors. Granted we have decent midwest soil, but still.

Hey Josh. Just a small safety tip. Those hoses don't need to be rested under your leg. If you don't want to cut the plastic and run the hoses under them which I do understand. Get some pvc pipe and proper fittings to make it rest nicely where you want it to go. If for some reason a hose blew under your leg it could be tragic. Lookup hydraulic injection.

I think the joy of SRF channel is that it is filmed outside - you really get to feel what America feels like. For those who don't live on farms that's why we watch. There are a lot of workshop-based videos out there and I don't really watch them. Vice Grip do a lot of inside stuff at the moment (all new shiny kit) and I think his views are dropping as a result. My wife won't watch the 'inside' videos... Could you do the fitting / workshop stuff outside? Wife says the thumbnail is misleading - only at 21:23 do we see it in action in the sunshine. I had to skip through a lot of the video to keep her happy - you know what I mean! Hope this helps. We love SRF and want to give constructive help if we can. Clicked 'Like' as usual.

    Cool build video.
I have to say that's a cool attachment and Wildhare is really proud of them with those prices. I would be worry about the durability of the 4 wheeler, just not designed for the ground engagement forces like a garden tractor or bigger tractor are.
I'll stick to building one myself for my tractors, I can afford doing that.

This is a very cool concept. If you had a spare 4 wheeler you didn’t have much need for, this could be useful. Otherwise the cost of the set up along with the cost of a quality four wheeler, I think you’d better suited to stick with the tractor. Cool idea and ingenuity though.

They make similar attachments for garden tractors, so this set up should be about as useful. Good for garden, lawn and light chores around the homestead. I can see where you might use it for checking livestock and carrying bags or buckets of feed to them. Good for checking and repairing fences or taking a can of fuel to the field to top of the tractor when you're in the middle of baking hay/etc.

I think it all comes down to what the lift capacity is. That front loader bucket is quite small so it's not a tool for large volumes. The short wheel base and low weight of the 4 wheeler means the lift capacity can't be very high and also that attachments such as the pallet forks have very limited use.
Also note that the simple design of the lift mechanism means the tool installed will tilt when the arms are lifted. This makes using the pallet forks a bit harder, and you definitely want to think things through before lifting anything more than a foot or two.
This doesn't mean it's going to be useless, just that you have to be prepared to work with the limitations and not expect this to do heavy lifting.
On top of that comes quality concerns. The fit and finish seems to be good, at least is appears that way from this side of the screen. That doesn't mean the material is necessarily going to be of good quality, but it increases the chances.
Now is this thing going to be of use to you? I have no idea. To me it seems it could be of use for very light work, such as shoveling snow where a large tractor is overkill. Depending on lift capacity it might be able to stack hay bales and such. It won't replace a tractor anywhere you need to lift anything really heavy. So it's of limited use, especially if you already got a small tractor, but in the end it all depends on what your expectations are.

I've owned my Wildhare FEL/forklift for about 4 years now. Cute as hell, ain't they. People marvel at mine, which is attached to a 2010 Honda Rancher 420. They are easy to
set up, and the are good for snow plowing your driveway and very little else unless you're driving a largest ATV available. My 420 is the minimum a Wildhare will fit.
One serious problem with these loaders is that you have to provide your own ballast. They will not lift even 100 lbs. without some sort of counter weight on the back
of your machine. So, be warned. The bucket as you might be able to see is way too small for any serious earth moving. My load came with a set of 32 inch forks,
which do a credible job as long as you have the ballast. I use them mainly to move wood around my property, and the bucket I use for small amounts of stone and snow
plowing. Anything more serious and I get out my JD 1025R, which I use when the Wildhare is to small for the job. No way am I badmouthing anyone here. I like and subscribe here. But we all have to keep a level head about what we all are seeing here on TH-cam, as well. Keep up the good work, Josh.
