- One year ago, Andrew Barth Feldman was “found” by the DEAR EVAN HANSEN Family when he won the National High School Musical Theatre Awards®. This year-having made his Broadway debut as Evan Hansen-Andrew returned to his roots, paying a visit to the 2019 class of Jimmy Awards® nominees, and performing a one-of-a-kind rendition of “You Will Be Found” with them, alongside Tony Award®-winning orchestrator Alex Lacamoire.
The piano, created in collaboration with Sing for Hope, now has a permanent home at Marta Valle High School in New York City.

It’s insane how far Andrew has come in such a small amount of time
Idk something about a bunch of people yelling at you that you are not alone and will be found really gets the tears going.
Being seen is crucial for our survival. It’s a universal need.
My very close friend told our choir that he was struggling with depression, that he may not be his best for a little while, and that he was sorry. So my choir arranged to sing this song for him at our concert. We practiced on weekends, before school, after school, and on holidays to get it just right. He had no clue we had been learning it just for him, and he cried. It was amazing.

i saw dear evan hansen on april 14th. i met andrew, i met everybody. they changed my life. the message of this song and the entire play has saved me from some dark thoughts i have. this show is what keeps me alive and keeps me fighting and this cast keeps me going. congrats to all the jimmy awards nominees, you’re all going to do amazing things

Perfect song for anyone anytime anywhere. And yes, I plan to teach my choirs this song next year, invade the high school and teach them, and the intermediate school if possible. Every time I listen I learn more.

I’m struggling with a lot of things like Depression and Anxiety and suicidal thoughts, this is one song that makes me feel like I belong in this world with people. This song is the reason I’m still alive. I believe there may be people out there just like me I just haven’t met them yet or I have.
How I wish my high school days was as colorful as this. I'm so proud of these teens. The future of Broadway is in good hands. 💙

This brought tears to my eyes. I don’t often cry during these kind of videos, but this one was amazing and with the message that Alex was giving the kids it just made it that much more emotional. This was beautiful and amazing. I’m so glad that this musical is on broadway and is so popular because there are people who need to hear this message and until I started listening to this musical and read the script I didn’t think I was one of them but it has changed my life. So thank you to the cast and crew and everyone that has ever been a part of this musical and those who wrote the script everything. This musical is everything I didn’t know I needed until about a year and a half ago. So again thank you so much. It means more than you know. Especially to someone who has lost two classmates that I maybe wasn’t extremely close to but people who died too young. One died when he was 12 and was in the same grade as me and the other died when he was like 16 or 17 I think and was a grade above me.

I would play it over and over again as I laid in my hospital bed wondering if I was going to walk again or even live. Thank you Evan Hansen .

Watching this live was truly a life changing moment. I had been having a panic attack since the show began because we were in an over crowded theatre, but when this started playing it’s like nothing else mattered. I have nothing else to say. 💜

There are 2 people in this group that I have been rooting for since I found out they were going to be finalists in the Jimmy Awards. Their names are Olivia and Clayton. He goes by Clay for short. They both go to a private Christian School in Florida called The King’s Academy. They teach from preschool all the way through high school and these two in particular do theater in their school. Please look them up and support TKA!!

I did this for my final and only choir concert of this messed up covid school year. We did this but it was not as fast tempo, we did it more slowed down, but still love this reminds me of it. Sounded great at the concert. Keep going with music if you are struggling with this covid crap and or life or whatever. oh yeah BTW I actually listened to this when I got up this morning (as of June 4th) and I had it stuck in my head for most of the day 😎😉👍👌🆒🎼🎵🎶🎧
What I love about this is how real it is, there are so many voices singing tremendously and all of those voices are an asset to the performance which is a very real metaphor to life saying that everyone's voice is important and that we will all be heard eventually.
Boy what we take for granted. Seeing all these talented youth singing close together without masks is like seeing through a window to the past. I am ready for this pandemic to be conquered so we can get back to living again.

My highschool choir came together and sang this to spread awareness about suicide and other mental illness and I remember in the middle of the song we all grabbed hands and just belted the lyrics all as one. It was phenomenal
