So apparently I have to explain myself as I’m getting quite a few comments about it.. When I say “normal white sim”, I don’t mean that white is the only normal skintone.... I mean that she has a normal (realistic) skintone since she’s not blue, purple or grey.
I've noticed that issue happening to multiple sims youtubers now I've definitely seen the issue in a Clare Siobhan video and in a Vixella video, I believe they both did the random genetics challenge idk where I saw it elsewhere
If you randomize everything with them with the dice button, if you switch to mermaid form after doing everything you can random, it will make them lose the mermaid form, its a glitch with the randomizer i believe. I tested it with 5 sims and i got the same issue.
@@DoveJS you would still be randomizeing everything. Even if you do the mermaid form first i think it would still affect the form to dissapear after when you go to randomize the human form. I can try it but im not sure it would he a work around, either way, ea has to fix it.

You should make a small city of mermaids over water for like when they come out of the water they have their own life over and under water it would be an awesome vid oh and I love your vids 😇❤️❤️

The one problem I had was you kept during the same ears over and over even tho you had many choices, no hate tho! Beautiful sims and I love your vids!!! 🥰
for the skintone issue, i've found that putting them on your sim in human form , then unlinking the forms works, as the skin will stay on the mermaid form unless changed. its a weird work-around, but its easier than updating tons of shades. after unlinking you can change the human form back to whatever you had it on, easy peasy.
@Nekoplays yt There are plenty of videos where they explain how that works, but if youre playing on a ps4 or x-box you can't get cc at all which really sucks. I am playing on an ps4 too
imagine having these amazing sims in a series where they had to fight the yellow siren, and eventually having her as their friend then later on decided to have an adventure on the human world. the red mermaid is the one that gets them under control, and the orange is the total fashionista, social media famous the yellow one charms the boys makes them follow her and makes them her slaves but then the green mermaid keeps an eye on her. while the blue one is the cute klutzy girl, while the purple is the smart and aloof one, and the pink mermaid is the shy one that always sticks with the purple even though they are the exact opposite. IM SORRY I JUST RLLY LUV DEM HAHSHSHS
I had an issue where my mermaid had a daughter and grew to be a teen and in CAS it said the daughter was a mermaid (I could change her tail and everything) but in game play she wasn't.

Yeah that happened to me too! But only after I turned my custom content back on after downloading island living - I had it off for a while. They would glitch back to humans if I used custom content. I deleted some of my custom content that was kind of buggy or had broken, plus the mermaid and fairy mods, and one of those things seemed to fix it so far.
A fair amount of TH-camrs I watch have had the glitch. I hope they can fix it soon. I noticed that the bangs on your yellow mermaid where separate from her hair. It would have been cool if you had made them black though each sim are still gorgeous.
