I jammed with Jack Ruch, then Guthrie Trapp... last week! They gave me so much inspiration!
Will someone please get Jack and Guthrie into a jazz club together sometime soon? I would pay to hear this all night long. Sublime ❤🔥👍
This was so superb! I loved Guthries thumbed Bass line while comping those cool chords. The tone of these guitars was so rich and wonderful.
The run starting at 1:47 just blew me away! Sooooo good.
Fuck yes.
At 3'45" it's that feeling you get at the end of a really, really good meal, when you take the last bite, have a laugh and some convo, then go to take another bite but it's gone!!
How could I miss this one? Two of a kind, brothers in music
Imagine turning on the radio and hear this.. well.. at least we can listen here. Thank you so much for that beautiful video🙏
That’s just perfect. Beatiful guitars and even better playing, could listen to you guys play all day long
I can retire listen to this 2 gentle giants of guitar.....Many thanks.
Marvelous, I could listen all night!
Simply outrageous ❤

A Duke Ellington tune! Masterful playing by both. Great guitars too 😏
what's the piece called?
@@Gabe-1997 The theme is a simplified version of "Things Ain't What They Used to Be", a tune written by Duke Ellington's son Mercer Ellington.
Best Video Ever!!
Oooohhh Gooooddddd! 😍😍😍😍
That's a lot of class in one room.
Wow that was good!
Please tell me there's more of this recorded
smoooooth
yes! still in good company! haha!
Guthrie trapp is exactly my age, but I still want him to be my Dad. (still love you Dad if you somehow read this)
Forget the ball cap somebody get these cat fedoras !😎
Guthrie keeping complex as needed.
No disrespect to anyone, people sound amateur next to Guthrie.
And nobody needs a bridge pick ups?🤔
Great playing, but boring for these type of guitars. Make them BARK! These are not to be "boring" instruments. Any questions?
