+Andy Smith My earliest memory of GoldenEye was Boris' classic line "YES! I am invincible!". In fact, I remember shouting that exact line every single time I had done a good job with something back in junior high school in 1999, lol.
1:31 - Remember first time as a kid thinking THAT was the bottling room where I needed to chuck the mines :D I also thought "The red one is strawberry, the green one is apple and the white one is lemonade!" Now of course, I realise that the red one is anthrax, the green one is ebola, and the white one is advance copies of nicki minaj's latest release
My uncle and I would play this mission constantly. He had muscular dystrophy and couldn’t pass the mission. I was 6 years old and couldn’t help either. Same.
More like the power of having the horrendous trademark N64 anti-aliasing switched off. But sure, the resolution helps a bit too. Switching to PC now is a huge mistake in my opinion. Nvidia is practically having a monopoly on gaming graphics and charge more and more for smaller changes and longer upgrade cycles. Steam is getting more and more customer unfriendly and publishers explore other platforms, forcing you to have several different store and DRM accounts. PlayStation 5 will use a Ryzen 3000 CPU, which will be a huge uplift* and open the door to true MMO's on console and pave the way for games with a vast and unprecedented amount of details and possibly even new genres. PS5 will also use Navi graphics, which will be at least on par with Vega or GTX 1080 today. And remember that theoretical computational power is much better utilised on consoles than on PC. Typically you need a PC with twice the performance to be on par with any given console. PS5 will be a beast. Nintendo Switch and, later on, the PS5 will rule gaming the coming years. *The Jaguar CPUs used in the current consoles were designed for thin laptops and are only marginally more powerful than the PowerPC based CPUs in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. And those PPC CPU microarchitectures were lacking a little in some ways, mostly no out-of-order execution. So we're still on 15 year old technology in the consoles. The CPU uplift in the next home console generation will be huge.
@Analyzing Male Slavery PC will always be better... the games for consoles are MADE on PC and the graphics will always be the latest, whereas consoles you have to wait for an upgrade every 5 years.
I noticed that, too. Wrong time stamp, though. That's when he's finished, so the viewer misses it, completely... It starts at 1:53 for anyone who actually wants to see it lol. Your time stamp confused me...
Don't get me wrong, I've been emulating for years. I even do it through my Series S. But the fact this came to Xbox my friends and I made a major game night. Pizza, beer, and 007. We were all ten again. Well, aside from the beer.
I remember the first time I was on this level as a kid that I killed Trevelyan as soon as I got to the bottling room as I thought he was a guard since I hadn't read the briefing or seen the movie at the time lol

But I understand WHY now - a spy, isnt born, Alexander, he is made. By bullets, and body armour locations. A spy, must, learn to hurt those he loves... (Takes swig from wine skin)
PC. Smooth game play. I noticed being able to turn fast means you getting more accurate shots, and also rarely ever getting hit. N64 controllers were much slower. Playing on PC looks really satisfying actually.
The no scope head shots is something to behold. Meanwhile I’m over correcting left to right and back again shooting up the walls while the soldier blows me away
Guys, do you notice the shaking of the camera when standing? Fun fact that shake was supposed to appear in Quake when you stand but it only appears on the intermission screen
Glad I watched this or I wouldn't have known how to get into the bottling room. I didn't remember. They didn't make it at all obvious. There'll be a lot of people who searched around for how to get in for ages and eventually just gave up because they didn't know they had to select the door decoder in the watch
I always found this one and Statue absolutely amazing how low they put the target time. Like you handled this like a boss, and you're still almost DOUBLE the target time. I see you have done it though, I did too when I was a kid, but I must have beaten the level a hundred times, and died a thousand times, before getting it.

As I already replied on the other videos; you don't know how I play on N64, and yes I also played it there with the original controls. I've also unlocked everything in the original game. Not saying you're bad or that it's not possible that you're better than me, which is totally possible, but going through several videos saying this is indeed trying to show off a bit on something you can't really prove, specially when this gameplay is not meant to show off skills or is related to how I play on N64. These videos' purpose is to show the game in clear quality with good gameplay in the background, that's it.
Upload what? I can upload photos with all of it unlocked if you want, but I'm not going to upload a new playthrough of GE N64 on the original hardware just because. Plus as I stated other times, I don't have anything to record other stuff than PC or HDMI consoles.
When I played this on the n64, id set this to secret agent, go to the scientists and shoot them twice in the leg and make take their gun out. Or camp at the end of the level on the second floor on top of escape door, and gun down the soldiers. First Id have to put gun cheats use the golden gun to kill Ouromov. Lol
my briefing: you'll be working with 006 on his assignment, the bottling room is the rendezvous point. don't forget to contact our double agent scientist before you leave, and warn him to get out. he will provide you with a decoder for the final security door. there are no woman or casinos for thousand miles, 007 so even you will be able to concentrate on this mission.

"You're late, 007." - Trevelyan
"I had to stop in the bathroom." - Bond
Andy Smith “ready to save the world again”? - Trevelyan
Because he had to take a shit

Andy Smith what a shame most people dont get this one!
Flisk Flask at least I do...and I wasn't born in the 90s

I always got a kick out of the sounds the guards make when you shoot them lmao
Guitarkid 1991 They recycled them in COPS
We egged this one guy's house, and every time an egg hit something, we'd go through the "cycle" of sounds
LÃhÈ-AJAQ Stock sound?
Oop! Ugh! Uggggh! Ah! Ooh!
You should shoot the ear while using the invisible cheat the spot it hits is random so you'll be laughing your head off
It's probably been 20 years since I last played this game, and I still know every room and door.
haha.. me too.. crazy how time flies.
stuff like that never leaves you
I remember every face lol crazy playing this again
My uncle and I would play this mission constantly. He had muscular dystrophy and couldn’t pass the mission. I was 6 years old and couldn’t help either. Same.
This level made me want an n64. Playing this in a target was the first time I felt the next generation.
You can play this on Nintendo switch and Xbox if you’re not aware
I wish the actual game on the n64 was this clear
that's the power of PC.
Dash120z I feel like ditching console and getting me a PC one day.

I've only recently watched the film for the first time, and it's so cool how it recreates the movie scenes.
This game was so ahead of its time!! Such a classic cant wait for Golden Eye 25 to come out!!!!
About that...
That's why it was so successful. When that game came out, I'd never seen anything like it, and was instantly hooked the first time I played it.
Perfect DArk too.
Your wait is over!
Can’t believe I need a walk thru for this game as an adult but didn’t need one as a kid
The excitement when the music kicks in at 0:19 and the cinematic visuals. They really knew what they were doing when they designed this game
You were pretty stealthy and had a bit of a John Wick-esque killing spree going on until the first loud gunshot from the guard at 1:22.
Dr. Doak looks exactly like Tim Curry.
You mean It.
I agree
I love that you kill the guy at 1:56 and yet he still has the smarts to do a full combat roll before he dies LOL
I noticed that, too. Wrong time stamp, though.
That's when he's finished, so the viewer misses it, completely...
It starts at 1:53 for anyone who actually wants to see it lol.
Your time stamp confused me...
@@solongsuicide9 thank you. I was confused
straight up laying the smack down on this level I love it
Trevelyan: Winter is coming.
Thank you for actually using the PP7. It’s so much more satisfying to watch than someone just spraying with the KF7
Thanks for understanding! Tons of people won't stop telling me to use other guns, while the Silenced PP7 is the best. :)
Classic, I man I used to play this game all day everyday when I was in High School. This is easily one of my all time favorite games.
Best run I've ever seen on this level brah
Don't get me wrong, I've been emulating for years. I even do it through my Series S. But the fact this came to Xbox my friends and I made a major game night. Pizza, beer, and 007. We were all ten again. Well, aside from the beer.
That juke at 1:09 LOL.
I always laughed at that fucking movement whenever the guards did that

Beg your pardon, forgot to knock.
these chemical could prove to be a match even for you pheromones, James. don't take too many risks.

Great video, Perfectly done.
1:09 - That Side Step Cracked Me Up 😂 smart soldier lmao
Best level in the history of gaming. Period.
My father...threw me into facility on 00 agent before i knew how to shoot...
When I killed my first man, he said:
"Now, you know."
I hated him then. But I understand WHY now - a spy, isnt born, Alexander, he is made. By bullets, and body armour locations.
A spy, must, learn to hurt those he loves...

PC. Smooth game play. I noticed being able to turn fast means you getting more accurate shots, and also rarely ever getting hit. N64 controllers were much slower. Playing on PC looks really satisfying actually.
1:10, I always remembered the soldier side stepping straight away LMFAO
The no scope head shots is something to behold. Meanwhile I’m over correcting left to right and back again shooting up the walls while the soldier blows me away
I love how you waited for the extra dialogue.
This level is a mess of going in circles when you don’t notice the yellow and black stripe door
He also would have accepted: "It was a bit tricky" or "I nearly killed myself getting here"
So quick!!
Old bones loved your work!
when the level design was so good you still remember every door and corner even 25 years later
I always blew the tanks with Travelyan next to them, i never knew they hold him up and everything, huh
Guys, do you notice the shaking of the camera when standing? Fun fact that shake was supposed to appear in Quake when you stand but it only appears on the intermission screen

this beat is sick on my premium car speakers
Amazing!
I will watch the w.t., i want to remember the good old times!
Thanks bro!
The sidestep still 1:09 always cracks me up.
I love the body shots sound
Came from /r/LP, really well played on this. Love the efficiency.
Important note of the day: never get caught going to the bathroom on this stage you do the guards never stop spawning

Seen a few of your vids now man&your marksmanship is scary🫡
I just got RETROID 2+ and it has this game that I used to play all day and forever but I forgot if it was all the tanks in the rooms or not 🤣😅
Im buying an N64 again soon as i get paid, super mario 64 and 007 goldeneye always brings me back in times as an kid

Gaming before wifi. This game is so nostalgic boy oh boy👍👍
I wish I had been there right before the alarm went off, smashing, destroying computers.....
I remember trying for months to get the cheat on this level. So hard! Plus you need Dr Doak to be in the right spot.
I love how there are guards just standing inside the toilet cubicle haha. What a horrible job

Do you always prefer small arms to the larger arms? Just curious.
In GoldenEye? Most of times yes, specially in single player. Usually I only change guns if I run out of ammo or really need to use a powerful one for a lot of enemies like the AR33 in Jungle.
when i played this game when i was a kid as soon as the alarm came i immediately blow up the tanks and leave
Interesting to note that unlike PD the enemy hit / grunt sounds seem to be in a fixed order.
WOW. Bravo 👏👏👏
Is the default pistol seriously the best weapon, or is it just the one you prefer?
+Omniplayer It's the one I prefer, but it has great accuracy so it's great at all distances and easier to deal headshot damage, so you could say it's one of the best ones, yeah. As you can see through the whole playthrough it's my most used weapon unless I run out of ammo or get other that's obviously better, like the AR33 in Jungle.
What is that blue stuff up on the ventilation at 0.53?
