"Green leaves are overrated"!😄 you crack me up, the blue leaves do give them a run for their money! This is a gorgeous card, Therese. I have never tried a layering stencil or stamp, this looks so fun and the results are awesome...at least when you use them. 😉💞
I was surprised at how easy the stencil was to use and layer, it was the first time I'd had it out of the package! and I'm sure I wouldn't have said that about green leaves lol.
Therese. I will have to get the stencil. Your card is gorgeous as always. I like quick cards . I’m sure once you got use to the stencil it became easier for you. I hope your having a great summer with friends & family. Still keeping safe my darling. Enjoy the rest of your week and have a great weekend especially if your not having to work. Till next time. Happy card making, take time to relax (if you can lol 😂) see you next time . . I love my pencils ✏️. Big hug 🤗 ❤️🏖🐨🏄♀️🎨🌷
Sooo happy to hear that you love your pencils, I knew you would! I am working this weekend but am finding some crafty time today (in between checking out blogs and generally avoiding all I 'should' be doing lol.) Hugs Tx
I am loving the stencils as a fun an quick way to create beatiful flowers, if you don't feel like 'colouring' then these are perfect! Thanks so much Teri, hope you have a fabulous week!
Oh my word! This is genius! I have so many ideas now that you have inspired me to try! I have been on an embossing folder kick lately and this is definitely next level!! Thanks for such an awesome idea and sharing your gorgeous card!!!
I have a couple of Altenew's layering stencil set. My tip of the day: line up all the stencils so you can see thru them to make sure they're correctly positioned and nick one corner thru them all. Then you won't have to guess how they layer! I have the leaf one and boy,, did I do a LOT of flip flopping to get those in line.
Awesome idea. Thank you! But what about the layer with all the center parts? It’s driving me nuts trying to figure which order they go. Wish Altenew put numbers on them.
I am really loving life with stencils, Therese! They are so versatile and take so little time to complete. Makes it possible to play with all sorts of color combos, such as your blue leaves. Love this card!
Oh man! I may need this stencil set ♥ I'm really digging the stencil trend.... Affordable and oh so beautiful! As always, you made me laugh while thoroughly enjoying your card making skills. I look forward to the next video.
Fabulous card, absolutely love it. You’re always full of great ideas and the use of the embossing folder is yet another example of your creativity...another technique to try, thank you. This stencil set is going to be popular and I can’t wait to try it out. Thank you Therese for another brilliant video
I LOVE stencils and this set is amazing...it's going on my wishlist right now, too! Your card is gorgeous, Therese! I love that you used blue for the leaves and that you used Jet Black ink to add dimension! Thanks for inspiring me, again ~ There goes my budget :)
Going to try this technic. I have a stencil with the layers. Mine unfortunately is all on the one sheet. It makes it harder to do the blending. Love these new 3D embossing folders.
I did see Lydia create an acetate sheet that she taped to her stencil so she could flip the pieces of actetate back and forth to cover the stencil when she was blending.... I'm sure I would forget to flip some lol. but I did think it's a great idea and may try it!
Hi Therese! Could you please take a look at your link to the Modern Squares 3D embossing folder - seems to be a problem, and I so want you to get the credit for my purchase of this gorgeousness!! xx and thanks!
Thanks so much for that Michele, and FYI you can actually use any of my links to the store and add it from inside the store and I will still get the credit, but I will definitely check the link here. Big hugs Tx
Gorgeous! I will try the blue. In the process of buying the Altenew ink pads. Any chance you could tell me what order the centers go? I got the first one figured out but after that stupid takes over. The pics don’t help when your stupid. Thanks
With the centres I just moved the stencils around until they looked right... lol. I started with a lighter colour on the 'largest' centre and then moved to a smaller one and used a darker colour etc... I hope this makes sense. although when I checked out the layering guide at the store it looks like they did it the other way round, I don't think it really matters. You can enlarge the guide if you need to cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0388/7541/files/Flower_Bunch_Simple_Layering_Stencil_Set__Layering_Guide.jpg?v=1613668472 Hope this helps!
It might work to add a pigment ink pattern to fabric but it would work to add the depth... unless you were able to 'starch' or set the fabric with a glue somehow.... that could be fun to try.
Beautiful card Therese! Altenew layering stencils and amazing! Thanks for sharing! 🥰
So happy you liked this one Bev!
Beautiful flowers......and what the EF does to it is amazing! Thanks, Therese! 💌
It's certainly a game changer! thank you Kathy!
Very pretty card. I think the embossing folder took it to the next level. 💖

Ooohh so lovely🤩 The blue leaves really do make a statement! I do like the A2 window and plan to 'borrow it immediately💙Thank you, Therese🤗
I use mine all of the time, it's also good to work out sentiment placement... everything really lol.
What a difference the embossing folder made 👍and, not only no black ink but, no splatters either 😉 Stay safe 😷 and well 🤗 🤗
Yeah, I know right... I held back on the splatters lol.
Love the flower stencils!!! And what a great look with the embossing folder!
Laura

@@milosmom52 So happy it worked!
can it be used on fabric?

And no ‘spatter’ lol 😂 Such a beautiful card ❤️
I know right! I can't remember if I was tempted.... but I'm sure I was lol.
Gorgeous card but, it kills me to see you cut off parts of the flower!
hahaha I promise to use the whole image on a card too lol.
