- WELCOME to my 19th flight in 2018! On 3rd July, I flew British Airways flight BA391 from Brussels (BRU) to London Heathrow (LHR). The operating aircraft was an Airbus A319. I flew into Brussels on Cathay Pacific from Hong Kong in business class, as the flights were of the same ticket, I sat in Club Europe (aka business class) on the BA flight too.
There are 9 flights a day from Brussels to London Heathrow. BA operates 6 of them, with A319 and A321. The other 3 are operated by Brussels Airlines.

Thx for uploading. Everytime when I fly into LHR I try to get a seat on the right side.
I don't understand why BA got such a bad service. I remember that 17 years ago I got free food and free drink. The reason why I still fly with BA is that I still have got avios and they use T5 which is 1000x better than the old T1.
I am currently planning a trip to Europe for Christmas and I looked at intra EU flights fights with BA. Prices are insanely low compared to shorthaul Asian and Australian flight. So I don’t really care if they don’t give me food or drinks. however, they should leave this for low-cost carriers to do it. I don’t mind paying a little bit more and still getting free food and drinks when flying with BA. Anyway, thanks for watching!

No way 777, it will be A321. Is it the middle seats are blocked off? So that the business class will virtually have 2-2 configuration?

So sad seeing all those 747s, knowing that now they have all gone. The largest 747 fleet on the planet is no more.
Seats are crap for a premium product but the view of the engine and the lovely looking breakfast sure made up for it. I prefer your newer reviews with personal dialogue rather than reading from the screen. Arriving in London is definitely exciting and pretty 👍
I really enjoyed this video, especially the take off and climb out of Brussels. You appeared to get a decent breakfast for a 40 minute flight. BA use to have a no thrills are, which went by the name of 'GO', which operated out of Stansted, I seem to remember. It didn't last for very long, for whatever reason.

Fab video! So different from your other ones. New angles, new take on things! Very refreshing! How was the load on your CX Brussels flight? I think the reason for having the same seats as economy is so that they can have some flexibility in the plane usage...just remove the middle table and curtain and bingo! An all economy plane! Oh, and did they draw that curtain behind you after take off? I like the Queen at home helping you with displaying the magazines for you....so maybe YOU are the King at home! Haha! BA’s food is hit and miss. We tried the new Club World service to HKG last week. Much improved beddings (there is a little mattress cover!) which are much better quality with improved fluffiness. The meal service presentation was improved, but the food quality was so so on my flight. The crew was as great as ever. They really need to have better seats.....cannot wait for your report on that flight! 😄😄
As always, thank you for watching Wayne! My CX flight was 100% full (at least in business class)! That's very true, when I booked my flight there was only 3 rows, then when I checked-in, there was 4. The crew did draw the curtain after takeoff. I'm not the king, but prince haha
Their long haul is so much comfier now with improved the beddings, food looked good but didn't taste very good too in my experience 😂

They used to have a low cost airline called BAconnet.
I don't know why they stopped this service.
I remember that BA used to offer food on trays with free drinks.

Great video, same BA has to resort to Y seating, but it's competing with more LCC, but the crew where great.
For short haul flight (less than 2 hours), as long as the crew and service are great, I'm totally fine :)

With identical seats on both business and economy class in inter-European flights, I’m not sure if it’s worth it. Awesome trip report as always though!

I think if you take in the lounge fayre and comfort, the queue skipping and the onboard service it is.
It's sad that you didn't sit on the right side. I like the overview over London (Tower Bridge and co.) But it's a good video. Hope I can do an upgrade to Club Europe since I'd like being posh as a friend said and eat for "free" at the lounge.

I remember that the food on BA flights had been good 15 years ago. Now you have to pay for it.
I forgot to mention the fantastic view you had as you flew over my home city of London. Good to see the London Eye, the Shard and Tower Bridge, to name a few landmarks. Have you uploaded your Cathay Pacific flight from HKG to BRU?

I didn't know that Club Europe just offers a row of economy seats with the middle one blocked, they really need actual businesses class seats ASAP!!😂😂😂

I agree, I flew in Club Europe from Heathrow to Innsbruck in Austria and the lounge was the best bit as I was in 5a but the person in front reclined there seat so I could put my food there and they didn’t ask. Furthermore when boarding they let 2 groups in front of us even though we were meant to board first. Finally I agree that the Experience is ok but i think that British airways need to give you more for your money with changing the seats to larger in width and comfort and replacing the middle seat with an arm rest or something. Overall good enjoyable experience and flight but BA have some changes needed!
I don’t get the point of getting rid of the old ’priority boarding’ and them introducing boarding groups because the staff (and frankly myself) too don't care. Agree that the experience was alright, lucky the flight was less than an hour otherwise I'd be moaning as I flew long haul before catching this flight! thank you so much for watching!
I cannot remember exactly when Go operated, it was so long ago, pardon the pun. The Captain on your flight seemed a jolly fellow, similar to the one, who operated a BA flight I took from LGW to AMS earlier this month.
Haha i like that pun, and the captain as well. I forgot what he said but I do remember he used phrases like ‘magic box’ and ‘ontime.. in fact just a little bit late’.
All in all, you seemed to have a decent flight. I think that is down to the cabin crews to be honest. I have had some good flights with BA and some with right snotty cabin crews. Can I ask, why you didn't fly direct to the UK with Cathay Pacific rather than to BRU.

Really enjoy your videos. I flew LHR to SYD last year in economy , BA have gotten really tight with everything, drinks, eye masks to name a few, the food quality and what was given was really bad. The only saving thing are the crew, I felt so sorry for them when people asked for another drink, you used to get 2 with your meal.... they did appear embarrassed by the cuts. Not a leading brand anymore, quite crappy.

Seat choice costs $36 with British Airways. Who wants to pay with that kind of tight Business seats. We will just wait until check in. If we get separate seats that's fine for 2 hours flight Heathrow to Venice. I already warned my friend who is a 6 ft tall.How did you get the vegetarian panini?Good video.

It's absolutely shambolic that BA business class and economy class have the same seats. The prices for business class are at least £300-£400 more than the economy seats. It's outrageous to think that BA is getting away by calling this business class
Agreed, it terribly sucks for those who actually paid with all those money and expecting a recliner seat. Also it's not a welcoming surprise for those connecting from a long haul flight.
