Just a life hack for the grips: use hair spray instead. It will let you slide the grips on super easy and it will dry off really fast too.

This is the best. I usually blast a little air from an air compressor in both ends once I find its position and they are stuck like glue. I hate when grips twist around and this completely eliminates that problem.
