@SecurityServiceYT yup, always notice that there's a group of creators who always start stirring up crap when most of the bigger gachas are between patches so theres nothing else to make videos (and try to pad their bank accounts) with so they cause drama then blame the actual informed CCs when they dismantle their bad takes. Once you notice this cycle you cant unsee it. Also I swear a lot of CCs constantly try to find fault in WuWa because they're not actual gamers and WuWa has content that requires at least a level of skill. So when at least part of your audience expects you to know what you're talking about and be able to do the harder content (and you struggle with both) they start blaming the game and throw shade at it to downplay it as much as possible to cover their own shortcomings. JC, a lot of bigger creators hire people to play games for them so when they stream the game they avoid anything but quests and basic content. Imo this is why a lot of the CCs Saint has reacted to in order to correct their bad info made those posts and vids in the first place. They're trying to get ahead of being exposed as tourists and make it seem like the game has this or that problem when its truly a skill issue on their part. Always notice what the bad takes are about, end game content, again its because they want it to seem like Kuro badly designed the mode so when they fail they've already established that it was the bad design and not that they suck. Imo those CCs should just play the games they're 'good at but again drama is pretty profitable (and most of them have insanely undeserved big egos on top of it all) so ofc they need to chime in even when its completely unnecessary because they're trying to stay somewhat relevent. Everyone knows that WuWa can always improve and the community knows it since the devs themselves constantly ask for as much critism as possible, but it needs to be actual issues and not shot made up to farm clout or assauge their own egos. Id say it's pretty sad but no matter how smal bad info and outright lies, especially by larger creators, can effect the game. Ofc WuWas more than god enough to stand on it own merit but im glad there's CCs who clap back when another CC says some dumba$$ sh!t

Reminds me of 2 types of professors I had: the one that acknowledged I met the criteria for 100% score but purposefully graded down because there's no such thing as a perfect thesis....then the other would grade appropriate to if I met the criteria AND add a ton of notes both to pinpoint what he was impressed by, and critiques for improvement so that if I went on to phD, I'd get used to writing at that standard. One sets you up to fail to prove a point, the other sets you up to succeed beyond the present moment whilst acknowledging the accomplishment you already attained. It's sad that so many people treat praise and criticism together as an impossible dichotomy and so they choose one extreme to the other
The main problem with western Wuwa CC community is that they tend to be overly negative with the game and thought it is a good thing since the devs said it that they needed feedback . And those said Overly negative feedback are mostly Nitpicks, Lie entirely , and didn't have a clue about the game at all . The fiasco about Balatro was on the WuWa discord that was very aggressive but Kuro shut it down very fast and made an announcment just saying "DONT DO THAT" and that was the end of it. Didn't make it up but certainly calling it a fiasco is an extream exageration.

Correct. I was there as well and was with the discord community during the TGA. Thing is a lot of people were defending Balatro, myself included because it IS a fun game. I have some disagreements about what the criteria is for "game of the year (mobile for this case)" is, but at its core, Balatro is a good game. When the discord got shut down for about 4-5 hrs, and the channels were reopened, people stopped bringing it up and for those who semi-continued the topic, people kindly asked to move on from the topic so the channel(s) wouldn't get shut down again.
I don't understand why some ppl think the wuwa community refuses criticism. We've been criticizing the game since its release lol, always suggesting changes and improvements with every update. Where do they think all the QoL updates, fixed issues, and improvements in quality come from? It's from the players themselves criticizing the game because we know: DEVS LISTENING. One of the Wuwa director said "The players are more harsh with the feedbacks when it comes to Wuwa so we tend to be a bit more careful when making decisions" Which yea, you'll see these CCs always being so critical when it comes to anything about Wuwa from the story to the combat, to literally every single thing. But they are never this critical when it comes to Hoyo's game, like people call Xianzhou quest sucks but people just talk a lil bit about it and move on. But When Wuwa 1.0 story sucks, everything just sucks. If it's not flawless and perfect, then it sucks. MC shilling? it sucks, non of the rest matter, it just sucks. I literally have asked some of them before, aside from the MC shilling, what else do they know about the story, and surprise they know nothing about the rest, and gets angry and starts to get defensive. Like seriously I see less toxic positivity and more overly negative in Wuwa community.

What I often see is Genshills attacking the game and calling it criticism, without giving any reason why it's bad or saying anything about what's been fixed. And when people disagree, Genshills say that Kuro bot can't take criticism and call Wuwa community toxic.

the irony is that in most Asian countries including Southeast Asia countries, the drama were almost non-existent since the CCs there actually doing legitimate content like Technical showcase of the game, Boss fights challenge, Guides, and such. While there still some commotion here and there, it's nothing more than a one of those egoistical debate and nothing as rage-baiting as many other western CCs did here

People often forget that rebutting or offering a counter-argument to any criticisms, regardless if constructive or not, is in itself constructive criticism. These people think it stops in offering a criticism when it doesn't. What makes it better is when it starts a conversation to flesh-out the bs and pick the good feedback. For instance, the lack of "combat engine" or "Jinhsi and Changli play the same"point are asinine and practically meaningless and doesn't even provide the devs a clear and good feedback. Questioning such point, explaining it better, or offering an alternative will. Also, some refuse to offer an alternative cause "it's beyond their pay grade" or "it's the devs' job" while fine, is less helpful.
Wuwa community can be pretty annoying, but to say it's as bad as genshin's is just ridiculous. Because of what, comparisons videos? At least it's just comparisons. Literally what WuWa fans are complimenting Kuro for the most is how much they listen to our criticisms and how quickly they implement changes, so when a criticism comes that's BS, we go "That's not a real criticism, play the game." or when valid critiques arise, we go "Go tell Kuro, their track record shows they'll fix it in an update." This tweeter just wanted to hop on the popularity train and maybe snag some attention for themselves.
The problem with wuwa is right now , 90% of the wuwa CC focus on the drama content , rage bait and not focus on the game content more . They only do a reaction vid to new update on wuwa and 2-3 days later will make a video about how that update is bad and ruining the wuwa future . This is why i stop watching them after 1.2 update .

Speaking of feedback and changes - Kuro sent out the in-game mail with link to the Survey, so remember to add in suggestions at the end, such as improvements to the Echo system or other issues you found. I always ask for better Echo exp mechanics, either letting us use Echoes themselves as exp, or give us more Echo exp. After all, the other Kuro game, PGR, has a ton of ways to upgrade the "Artefact" system in Memories. There are multiple ways of getting the ones you want easily, and multiple ways to get materials only limited by your stamina. PGR's equivalent of substats, Memory Resonance, also is pretty comfortable to get mods you want, and you have items that let you pick what Resonance you want. That's the slant I went with this time. If their other game can have very player-friendly "artefact" system, then surely WuWa can do better.

If I am expected to pay for every character and weapon I want to play with, at least let me play DAMMIT! They did listen a tinnnnyy bit with the whole event cycle, not enough. Clearly. I don't know how to get that weekly battle pass quest telling me to unlock 50 Echo substats EACH WEEK. I can do it a couple of times if there are enough chests around, sure. But on a drypatch? No way I'm going to fully use my Waveplates for only Echos for an entire week, and even then, I'm not 100% sure if I could reach 50 unlocks à 5 Levels each, if I level each to max level so it's at least usable.
Yes actually this is absolutely an example of toxic positivity. Keep in mind you can challenge feedback respectfully by asking questions. For example I don't have the same issue other people do with tuners. I have over 3500 but I won't tell people that they are wrong for wanting changes. I do ask how people prioritize echo tuning just to try to understand. I think more resources would definitely be helpful especially for people who didn't start day 1. Also all I can say is Kuro agrees with you. I'll leave it at that

I don't know if anyone will ever read this but anyway I think both kuro and hoyo fans are excessively aggressive, focusing on proving they are right rather than thinking on the weak points of the games that could be improved through collective constructive and calm criticism. I like playing wuwa and hsr, and I think they both are not perfect but still enjoyable in my opinion. If we don't voice our concerns and try to listen to others, the game we love will stagnate and become dull, or at least this is what I think happened to Hsr after a first year when everyone was praising the devs in absolutes and screaming "genshin could never", and the same fate might happen to wuwa. So if you have suggestions for the games to improve, just voice then calmly, otherwise the whole point of the discussion could get lost

What I appreciate is that you took recent criticism in your approach, acknowledged the merit in toning down the emotional intensity without disregarding the validity of your actual takes, and all the proceeding videos from that point are night and day difference as your reasoning takes center stage.....an example of practicing what you are asking of the community. Credit where credit is due man. I still don't agree with every take and the approach on twitch still needs work lol - such as calling the viewer stupid for thinking a few sentences were paragraphs...their take was illogical, their approach was antagonistic, but that doesn't render them stupid as a whole based on this interaction. Sure, ban them stirring up unnecessary dissension and call out the behavior of deflecting responsibility to back up their claims, but no need to make it personal as it undermines the objective moments you are so good at. Plus, it creates an environment where a person is degraded for having a bad take, rather than fostering an atmosphere where people are not rejected for bad takes (although keeping out bad attitudes is good), but their bad takes are dismantled and rejected. Overall though, I think the direction of this channel is starting to foster what is so needed in the gaming social media scene....to discuss and question the validity of circulating assumptions in a way that targets the thought process. You've been doing that so well by stopping CC's and asking them to explain before jumping to a rebuttal...usually just getting people to explain and prove what they mean does all the work for you lol

As a 30/30 (for 7 times in a row by now) ToA clearer, I don't agree that you need to 30/30 to critique it, necessarily. I come from 2 years of genshin (quit in 2022) where I never 36/36 not even a single time (35 was the closest), and I can confidently say that spyral abiss is absolute 4$$ lol

The hsr 3.x main story quest was boring and the new quests are even more boring but I don't really see everyone complaining about it. But if wuwa 2.0 story quest is bad does anyone think that they will be able to get away with it. I can't even imagine the amount of backlash the will get.
Meh, I don't mind claiming I'm the worst WuWa player out there. Not my typical game cause I'm horrible at it so usually don't play it. I know I'll never clear ToA 30/30 or clear Holo 5 and 6 but I won't ask devs to make things easier for me. I get what I can get and have fun with what I can clear. But recently I noticed I'm getting locked out of more and more rewards cause I can't play like well and my fun is diminishing. But again, that's a me problem, not a game problem. I'm sure the devs want mostly players who are able to play their game and not filthy casuals like myself.
I think the only place I saw the meltdown of the community was the Wuwa official discord where they had to lock the general chat and blackshores chat because people were calling to review bomb Balatro (and many other things). It's the only place where I saw it

WuWa absolutely does have a toxic positivity issue. It actually has since CBT2. I have been on the receiving end of it many times. In CBT2 and after I gave feedback that people pushed back on that has since been put in the game like auto loot and even a fix for gunners not having real heavy attacks. Lucky I don't need to go through those people to have my feedback heard. To say the community doesn't have toxic positivity is just straight up wrong.

@SecurityServiceYT yup, always notice that there's a group of creators who always start stirring up crap when most of the bigger gachas are between patches so theres nothing else to make videos (and try to pad their bank accounts) with so they cause drama then blame the actual informed CCs when they dismantle their bad takes. Once you notice this cycle you cant unsee it.
Also I swear a lot of CCs constantly try to find fault in WuWa because they're not actual gamers and WuWa has content that requires at least a level of skill. So when at least part of your audience expects you to know what you're talking about and be able to do the harder content (and you struggle with both) they start blaming the game and throw shade at it to downplay it as much as possible to cover their own shortcomings. JC, a lot of bigger creators hire people to play games for them so when they stream the game they avoid anything but quests and basic content. Imo this is why a lot of the CCs Saint has reacted to in order to correct their bad info made those posts and vids in the first place. They're trying to get ahead of being exposed as tourists and make it seem like the game has this or that problem when its truly a skill issue on their part. Always notice what the bad takes are about, end game content, again its because they want it to seem like Kuro badly designed the mode so when they fail they've already established that it was the bad design and not that they suck.
Imo those CCs should just play the games they're 'good at but again drama is pretty profitable (and most of them have insanely undeserved big egos on top of it all) so ofc they need to chime in even when its completely unnecessary because they're trying to stay somewhat relevent. Everyone knows that WuWa can always improve and the community knows it since the devs themselves constantly ask for as much critism as possible, but it needs to be actual issues and not shot made up to farm clout or assauge their own egos. Id say it's pretty sad but no matter how smal bad info and outright lies, especially by larger creators, can effect the game. Ofc WuWas more than god enough to stand on it own merit but im glad there's CCs who clap back when another CC says some dumba$$ sh!t

Reminds me of 2 types of professors I had: the one that acknowledged I met the criteria for 100% score but purposefully graded down because there's no such thing as a perfect thesis....then the other would grade appropriate to if I met the criteria AND add a ton of notes both to pinpoint what he was impressed by, and critiques for improvement so that if I went on to phD, I'd get used to writing at that standard.

The main problem with western Wuwa CC community is that they tend to be overly negative with the game and thought it is a good thing since the devs said it that they needed feedback . And those said Overly negative feedback are mostly Nitpicks, Lie entirely , and didn't have a clue about the game at all . And those are amplified like it is a big problem where it isn't really/yeah it will be cool if that improve .

The fiasco about Balatro was on the WuWa discord that was very aggressive but Kuro shut it down very fast and made an announcment just saying "DONT DO THAT" and that was the end of it. Didn't make it up but certainly calling it a fiasco is an extream exageration.

Correct. I was there as well and was with the discord community during the TGA. Thing is a lot of people were defending Balatro, myself included because it IS a fun game. I have some disagreements about what the criteria is for "game of the year (mobile for this case)" is, but at its core, Balatro is a good game.
When the discord got shut down for about 4-5 hrs, and the channels were reopened, people stopped bringing it up and for those who semi-continued the topic, people kindly asked to move on from the topic so the channel(s) wouldn't get shut down again.

People often forget that rebutting or offering a counter-argument to any criticisms, regardless if constructive or not, is in itself constructive criticism. These people think it stops in offering a criticism when it doesn't. What makes it better is when it starts a conversation to flesh-out the bs and pick the good feedback. For instance, the lack of "combat engine" or "Jinhsi and Changli play the same"point are asinine and practically meaningless and doesn't even provide the devs a clear and good feedback. Questioning such point, explaining it better, or offering an alternative will.
Also, some refuse to offer an alternative cause "it's beyond their pay grade" or "it's the devs' job" while fine, is less helpful.

Literally what WuWa fans are complimenting Kuro for the most is how much they listen to our criticisms and how quickly they implement changes, so when a criticism comes that's BS, we go "That's not a real criticism, play the game." or when valid critiques arise, we go "Go tell Kuro, their track record shows they'll fix it in an update." This tweeter just wanted to hop on the popularity train and maybe snag some attention for themselves.
The problem with wuwa is right now , 90% of the wuwa CC focus on the drama content , rage bait and not focus on the game content more . They only do a reaction vid to new update on wuwa and 2-3 days later will make a video about how that update is bad and ruining the wuwa future .
This is why i stop watching them after 1.2 update .

I always ask for better Echo exp mechanics, either letting us use Echoes themselves as exp, or give us more Echo exp. After all, the other Kuro game, PGR, has a ton of ways to upgrade the "Artefact" system in Memories. There are multiple ways of getting the ones you want easily, and multiple ways to get materials only limited by your stamina. PGR's equivalent of substats, Memory Resonance, also is pretty comfortable to get mods you want, and you have items that let you pick what Resonance you want. That's the slant I went with this time. If their other game can have very player-friendly "artefact" system, then surely WuWa can do better.

I can do it a couple of times if there are enough chests around, sure. But on a drypatch? No way I'm going to fully use my Waveplates for only Echos for an entire week, and even then, I'm not 100% sure if I could reach 50 unlocks à 5 Levels each, if I level each to max level so it's at least usable.
Yes actually this is absolutely an example of toxic positivity. Keep in mind you can challenge feedback respectfully by asking questions. For example I don't have the same issue other people do with tuners. I have over 3500 but I won't tell people that they are wrong for wanting changes. I do ask how people prioritize echo tuning just to try to understand. I think more resources would definitely be helpful especially for people who didn't start day 1. Also all I can say is Kuro agrees with you. I'll leave it at that

I don't know if anyone will ever read this but anyway I think both kuro and hoyo fans are excessively aggressive, focusing on proving they are right rather than thinking on the weak points of the games that could be improved through collective constructive and calm criticism.
I like playing wuwa and hsr, and I think they both are not perfect but still enjoyable in my opinion.
If we don't voice our concerns and try to listen to others, the game we love will stagnate and become dull, or at least this is what I think happened to Hsr after a first year when everyone was praising the devs in absolutes and screaming "genshin could never", and the same fate might happen to wuwa.
So if you have suggestions for the games to improve, just voice then calmly, otherwise the whole point of the discussion could get lost

What I appreciate is that you took recent criticism in your approach, acknowledged the merit in toning down the emotional intensity without disregarding the validity of your actual takes, and all the proceeding videos from that point are night and day difference as your reasoning takes center stage.....an example of practicing what you are asking of the community. Credit where credit is due man.
I still don't agree with every take and the approach on twitch still needs work lol - such as calling the viewer stupid for thinking a few sentences were paragraphs...their take was illogical, their approach was antagonistic, but that doesn't render them stupid as a whole based on this interaction. Sure, ban them stirring up unnecessary dissension and call out the behavior of deflecting responsibility to back up their claims, but no need to make it personal as it undermines the objective moments you are so good at. Plus, it creates an environment where a person is degraded for having a bad take, rather than fostering an atmosphere where people are not rejected for bad takes (although keeping out bad attitudes is good), but their bad takes are dismantled and rejected.
Overall though, I think the direction of this channel is starting to foster what is so needed in the gaming social media scene....to discuss and question the validity of circulating assumptions in a way that targets the thought process. You've been doing that so well by stopping CC's and asking them to explain before jumping to a rebuttal...usually just getting people to explain and prove what they mean does all the work for you lol

The hsr 3.x main story quest was boring and the new quests are even more boring but I don't really see everyone complaining about it. But if wuwa 2.0 story quest is bad does anyone think that they will be able to get away with it. I can't even imagine the amount of backlash the will get.

Meh, I don't mind claiming I'm the worst WuWa player out there. Not my typical game cause I'm horrible at it so usually don't play it. I know I'll never clear ToA 30/30 or clear Holo 5 and 6 but I won't ask devs to make things easier for me. I get what I can get and have fun with what I can clear. But recently I noticed I'm getting locked out of more and more rewards cause I can't play like well and my fun is diminishing. But again, that's a me problem, not a game problem. I'm sure the devs want mostly players who are able to play their game and not filthy casuals like myself.

Look at artifacts system, they add every possible thing you can imagine but still no loadouts to make you swap artifacts, people are asking for years and you still don't do anything with this, they don't even have official controller support, wuwa got it after 4 patches XD

WuWa absolutely does have a toxic positivity issue. It actually has since CBT2. I have been on the receiving end of it many times. In CBT2 and after I gave feedback that people pushed back on that has since been put in the game like auto loot and even a fix for gunners not having real heavy attacks. Lucky I don't need to go through those people to have my feedback heard. To say the community doesn't have toxic positivity is just straight up wrong.

From what ive heard Balatro is s fun, addicting game (made by one dude as part of his job portfolio) so good for him. Balatro winning is infuriating considering the majority of the votes was just woke journalists who had hate towards Chinese developers which is why black myth also didn’t win and kuro just being one of them their discord is also toxic as there are more rules you have to follow then there are users Santa’s list your not allowed to post any sort of ai which if a mod thinks it is or just doesn’t like the art they will warn you up to 4 warnings until a permanent ban not to post images there mods will also warn you for getting into any sort of disagreement with other users giving you a time out immediately the second they don’t like what you are saying when there mods rules specify not give out any warnings or bans without speaking with other team members, they won’t acknowledge your defence if they do warn you or ban you saying they warned or banned you for one thing but will provide a completely different reason that the mod who banned you or warned you did as well themselves to you taking up to 10 hours to respond but expect you to respond to your mod mail ticket within minutes I can keep going but yah there discord rules and mods are super toxic and abuse there roles
