Interface looks different for individuals. If you dont have the Copilot in PowerPoint or Copilot in Excel buttons : You dont pay If you have a business version, if you go to copilot.microsoft.com, at the top you will have a WORK and a WEB tab. Thats how you know if you pay. More info here in any case: th-cam.com/video/lGwjvaAFjzk/w-d-xo.html
My complain with co pilot free version is that it's so slow, as compared to Chatgpt and Google bard Gemini AI Further one more bad thing is that it doesn't respond when my copilot tab is in background I have to open it on main screen for proper response otherwise it will stop down
That is good to know! I haven't explored much the plugins so far. I loved to make a song with Suno but other than that I didnt use them much :) Thanks for the video idea though, I'll explore them ! ! !
I dont think there is such a limit. I tried asking many questions in excel/word etc. Im pretty sure they would indicate such limits too. Well def not in the office 365 apps. Is this true for paid version of ChatGPT ? Tbh id be mad to pay and be limited. Maybe they add it if they see its unprofitable for them but im guessing theyre selling a ton right now. Limiting messages would hurt them I think
@@piggybankaccountant Yeah, ChatGPT has a limit of 40 messages per 3 hours, which is why I'm probably going to switch. Based on what I've seen from other videos, it doesn't seem that there is a 30-message limit per session either.
@@piggybankaccountant I subscribed shortly after my last comment, and it's been a blast. I love that I don't have to worry about framing my inputs carefully to prolong my sessions. It makes the conversation more authentic than ChatGPT.
Pretty sure free version is gpt-4 on creative/precise, it can perform advanced linguistic tasks which 3.5 can’t. Pro on the other hand is definitely the improved 4 turbo.
From what I understood : both are got 4 but on high demand (aka always very very soon) pro plans will have priority to gpt 4. So most likely no gpt4 for free users most of the time. What do you think?
@@piggybankaccountant Possibly. It seems to be that's what they're nudging towards. At least with Copilot Pro we also get access to unlimited GPT-4 instead of being limited to like 40-50 every few hours and model upgrades as they come.
The free version does NOT give you access to the integration of copilot in the office 365 apps. Free version is similar to what chatgpt offers. Video incoming on the Excel features too. Stay tuned!
Free version is horrible, it is basically clippy for Windows. It also hooks to bing..so take that for what it's worth. For the average person with an office365 subscription an extra 30 a month for AI integration is not worth it
@@piggybankaccountant Thanks for responding. My exposure to it was when it was pushed to windows 11 via update. I played with it. Asking for various setting updates within windows. My expectation was that it would make the setting change for me and instead it just opened settings and pulled up a link to a Microsoft help article. I did not find this very useful (convenient, just not something I wouldn't have done myself). Now it DOES a great job with generating scripts. Asked it via some prompt engineering to generate a powershell script for getting a file inventory after prompting for directory as test. Worked perfectly 1st try. Now in my original comment I made a statement about Bing (I personally do not find this search engine to be that accurate or useful). So anything powered by Bing will automatically trigger that bias.

Excellent and concise information. Great video!
Hey thank you Drew! You have no idea how this kind of comment can brighten my day. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hi, how will you know if you're on the free version of copilot??

Damn.. it is fast on my side, both free and pro are fast. Depends of the day I guess? If copilot worked hard yesterday then it will be slow? loll
I don't get plugins in the free version with my work or student account.

Is there a usage limit for Copilot Pro and are sessions limited to 30 messages? ChatGPT's is currently 40 messages / 3 hours.

I cant agree with you here! Copilot online (free) is pretty decent so is the paid version! What do you dislike about free version?
