The reason why you would stick with ChatGPT is to bulid your own custom GPTs. I'm not even talking about releasing them into the store but actually just automating your own personal workflows with them for yourself.
In the release, they mentioned that pro users get access to Copilot GPT Builder, but as of today, it is not available yet. There is a paid Copilot Studio, but it seems more advanced, for businesses with tons of data.
Nuh uh, it is available to copilot pro users now
@@calebedrick3776 yeah i think it became available a couple days after my reply. I haven't used it much though. Is it good?
This is what I wonder, and have seen, I think it's on an individual basis because they will roll these things out in very odd ways, some people will have some sometimes and some people won't but will have other different features I have been rolled out for their demographic n stuff lmao
After trying both for work, you cant even compare the Copilot with chat gpt 4. While Chat GPT really does good work as an assistant and do understand what we are doing, copilot is just lost time, does not do what you ask for but rather what it wants to do itself, even simple tasks are not done regarding my instructions
:)
I asked copilot to remove itself, and it tried to change the subject every time.
I thought Copilot uses ChatGPT 4? :s
I did not even know there was a copilot pro. Excellent content.
I'm glad you're doing this. Having a personal 365 account I'm pretty disappointed so far. And I love the suite it just doesn't seem to work that well. The Business account seems like a different product, much better working with more features. Subscribed to see!
Co pilot pro is junk vs Chat GPT plus. Not even close. Spent two days using both.
I was afraid of this. What are the main issues? Does it stem from not being able to use custom GPTs yet?
@@HouseofKhaineyes
Copilot junk😂. Bruh that's a big cap
Get a life man, for real
@@HouseofKhainenot anymore
I see many saying co-pilot being junk. But correct me if i'm wrong, Corbin, but the way I see it, co-pilot should be used to eliminate menial tasks that you'd do with microsoft products on a frequent basis. GPT on the other hand, is trained on large amount of text found on internet, and therefore more useful for creative works am I correct? That said, I think the value of co-pilot is doing tasks on Excel like coding for vba, power query and etc..
Yeah, I would say the power of Copilot is found if you are already using the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. It makes it easy to start expediting some of the more boring tasks!
Great video, I'd been interested in your thoughts regarding how context matters when choosing between ChatGPT vs Copilot. I've been using Copilot pro since launch day and found that the prompt size in copilot is very small = 2000 characters vs 32k Tokens in GPT. I think that matters in that if I use a trained GPT in ChatGPT with a big context window I can get much more "intelligent" answers than from Copilot. Copilot has no meaning GPTs as yet although a Copilot builder is "coming" soon which will make things much more interesting!
You can't make custom GPTs yet?
We use 365 at work. 100% my boss will pay for copilot so I'll have to give it a go lol
Great video. I’m looking forward to the next playlist!
How about Google workspaces and Duet AI?
I just had my first experience in this field just two days ago. As an artist, I was simply interested in image creation. Soon, I got bogged down in the free version... when traffic was heavy, it stopped working. So I looked into the pro version, and yes, it was faster and no showdowns or breakdowns. It's been absolutely astonishing and has changed my perspective and possibilities behind my imagining. I would pay for the whole bundle just to be able to do this, but I still am forward to learning the other functions. This is easy to make it pay for itself.
great breakdown..
I think i may need both. being a dev, chatgpt might be my way, but then CoPilot leverages both ChatGPT and DaLLE which is a bonus
I like ChatGPT have better UI. Best option would be where user can customize UI - fonts, colors, etc
I'm really confused. The version of Copilot where you pay $20/month (Copilot Pro?) says it INCLUDES ACCESS to ChatGPT Plus! So why do you have to choose?
No, it say that includes GPT-4 and GPT is (Generative pre-trained transformer). You are confused because CHATGPT is a model of AI from OpenAI that use GPT and Copilot is another company that use GPT. If you didn’t understand, please read about GPT and Machine learning
This is super helpful! thank you so much!
Copilot looks okay but I like the results from llama model at enterpriseai better from what I've read.
Hi, thanks for your video. May I ask if Copilot pro use 128k context?
What about the text extractor? Does copilot have one?
I wish copilot could use individual's Chat GPTs that have already been trained or customized.
Coming soon
Even though both products uses Dall-E for image generation, ChatGPT 4 is MUCH more precise. Im not talking about the image quality, but rather the actual content in the picture. As an example I asked Copilot to create a picture of the pope. 3 times I only got folded hands on the pictures. I tried the Apollo 11 crew as well(wanted to see whether i behaves as ridiculous as Gemini). It did better, but still showed women in the pic. Even when prompted to only show the three that was in in the first moon landing it failed. Chatgpt got both right the very first time.
Hey Corbin, since it's been a few weeks since you made this video, I want to ask you:
I use GPT to integrate chatbots or GPTs with specific features and uses for your businesses.
Copilot does not allow the creation of GPT or the integration of other APIs for this type of use, right?
In my case, having a co-pilot would not be ideal.
Do you know if Microsoft has any application that allows you to easily integrate and build Chatbots for businesses?
I would be interested in a video that explores how Microsoft Copilot Pro can work with apps that exist (or can be built) outside the Microsoft 365 system. For example, there exist apps/ programs that use the openai API to access GPT-4-Turbo from the app using an API key - can the same thing be done with Microsoft's GPT-4 model? If so, how? Can the Python openai library be used to "point to" the GPT-4 hosted by Microsoft (or would one have to use a custom API instead?) Even further, does Microsoft have a Pay-as-you-go option to use their hosted GPT-4 model?
It seems that at this time, there is no Copilot API to be accessed. Although both OpenAI and Copilot use the GPT-4 model, it seems that both are trained/fine-tuned for different types of outputs. That being said, there could be a possibility in the future for this, but the OpenAI API is still a great choice.
Great video! @Corbinai - kinda even thinking of getting CoPilot and keep my ChatGPT subscription for a few months then decide. CoPilo looks very interesting! what are your thoughts about replacing the custom GPTs? I love those, they add value to my workflow. Do we go with CoPilot and just suck it up that we don't have custom GPT? 🤔
Thanks! It really depends on your use case; if you actively use the Microsoft 365 App family, I would lean towards Copilot.
Just a quick question.Does Copilot pro have a prompt limit for chatgpt4 too, or do you have unlimited prompts in copilot?
I have not hit a limit, but I assume Copilot would have this. Also, keep in mind that Copilot's context window is a lot smaller than what I have seen with ChatGPT.
It is a good video, thank you.
Nice vid Corbin. Quick question what do you think about the idea of validating a SAAS and promoting it before even having a full product. Would you say at least have an MVP? How exactly would you go about it, thanks.
It boils down to what hypothesis is more important to test for your business at the given moment. If you want to test if there is a demand for your product and find that more important - there's no point in building the solution (SaaS) right away.
Cool stuff Corbin, so is GPT-4-Turbo now production ready if Copilot is using it? OpenAI still has on their website it's not production ready yet
I believe the API version of GPT-4-Turbo is not ready for use by developers.
Yes please I’m a 365 professional user and I follow you YOU A GREAT and would like for you to help in helping us become power users in copilot too THANKSSSSS!!!! 🎉💪🙌
Very interesting! But I think dedicated "most of the next 30 days content" to Copilot Pro might alienate those of your viewers that aren't using Copilot Pro. Maybe 50/50 at the most?
I will try my best to mix up the content but want to get the initial beginner videos on this topic out to reach a wider audience. Zapier and ChatGPT will always be on my channel as well :)
Thanks
great vid thank you
Why is Microsoft 365 Copilot in your title? You didn't go over it.
Weird how you can automatically create an excel in the prompt but for Microsoft copilot 365 it doesn’t have that option.
On the one hand, it is better to write SEO-compatible articles in the required number of articles.
For those who eavily use chatgpt, Co pilot will be better, only for the fact that they both use GPT4 and Co pilot is not limited by the atrocious 40messages/3 hours.
Copilot Pro doesn’t have Advanced Data Analysis (aka Code Interpreter) and Voice Mode. It’s basically useless until they add those features.
You are correct, we need more information on these topics. Liked and subscribed!
I would like to know if co-pilot pro on a personal MS account can reference/use your data in the account. Everything I have watched and read said it doesn't but if you ask free co-pilot is says is absolutely does if you allow it. If I can use it to query or build reports on my data, it would be an absolute game changer. I really don't want to pay the extra to get a business account and pay a year upfront for copilot for that option.
Could you please do a new video with detailed GPT builder on copilot pro?
Thank you for the suggestion; I will check it out!
@@webcafeai Awesome! You would be the very first one to do it, it's impossible to find information or any video about that feature 🙂.
Can Copilot create custom Bots?
As of now, I believe not; it seems its big use case is leveraging this for Microsoft 365 apps.
@@webcafeai I see it's potential but as for now I can copy text from chat GPT, I don't believe that ai can create PowerPoint with my cooperate design and what I have seen from Excel it seems very poor performance. I would really like to use the copilot but seems not to meet my expectations so far.
Stick to Chat GPT Wirth it's custom bots. Custom bots would be so helpful for Word.
If one want to in time, build my own personal GPT, but ALSO use office a lot, would I need to have both then?
1) Custom GPT - OpenAI
2) office365 for word, excel, mails etc?
Would I need to spend 40$ then?
Possibly, it seems Copilot is going to have a feature soon that will allow us to create custom copilots. When I get access to that, I will make a comparison video to custom GPTs!
1:40 : you mean "with Copilot Pro"?
Okay the subscription dance got me - my kind guy, subbed! 😆
Feels like the subscription is basically just so that you can paste responses into word documents and such, when you could just copy paste the response from chatGPT into word. Yeah sure it gives you access to GPT-4 turbo but it genuinely seems dumb in the way it uses GPT-4 compared to chatgpt plus. chatGPT just seems better at actually remembering and understanding what youre talking about, then taking that into consideration in future responses. Copilot feels like im talking to an AI with memory loss.
Gpt's is a major difference
Co pilot follows direction backwards it sucks
I think it would be wise for ChatGPT to integrate with Google products.
Short answer. No. I used both for 3 months.
If you use visual studio (not code) it's still on 3.5
Be careful with any cash outlays. From what I have seen and my own experience, making your own is getting easier by the day, and soon you will be able to just use a tool for your specific task and walk away, for pennies instead of subscriptions that always seem to need the next level to make sure its perfect!
kamala harris is going to ask copilot how to run a country, then we will have a terminator like escenario lol
Bing is shallow as a skip button. I don't want my answer to come from the surface & leave the dept behind.
I just fired my lawyer, because her competence was a brew. I need Ai not u.
You get a free month if you go without MS copilot pro.
Solid review.
Let's talk about the token 🤔. GPT-4 is better than Copilot Pro 💪. For Developer ...We don''t need 365 eco-system.
Umm what? You get unlimited gpt-4/turbo with copilot pro unlike non pro where u get 3.5 most of the time
@@xbon1 Bro.. What about the token :P
GhatGPT plus users get token?
@@azatfree yeah, but on bing you only get 4000..
This is not a professional comparison. Your excel example was clearly misinterpreted - did MS give you some money for this? You can ask ChatGPT to output an excel file from the data it finds and it does. In Copilot, the excel file needs to be on the Onedrive and it only gives you formulas, no loading of data. Sorry, this was full of misinformation.
Copilot Pro sounds way too corporate. ChatGPT all the way!
maybe
Copilot sucks ass. I absolutely HATE how it is programmed to get offended, and end the chat when it "doesn't like my tone". How the eff does a robot computer know the difference between something new 'tone', and why would it even care?
Neither.
whats twitter
Issue is ChatGPT plus take multiple files in one go. I am not sure Copilot can take multiple files
I despise Microsoft for putting AI on my computer without my consent. I’m throwing the computer in a landfill I’ll never touch another thing that has software I have no say over. Having trouble even finding a computer that doesn’t have AI on it, or that would guarantee not to make changes without my consent.
If a primary use case is Python apps with an AI API, would ChatGPT be the way to go?
Personally, I prefer ChatGPT in a context like this.
