Alan, your whole brand is honesty and with this video, you proved (not that it needed proving) that you absolutely can always be trusted. You always try to be completely honest about what you find even when it surprises you. I really appreciate what you did here. I have 2 of these and I love them. The volume issue is absolutely correct, the volume is not as high as something like the Flip 5 or the Souncore Motion+ and the even though the bass is not as prominent as in some of those kinds of speakers, the bass on the A1 is more controlled and refined. It does, at least to my ears, have greater fidelity and clarity than any speaker in its category that I have heard. In a stereo pair - the pleasantness of vocals and strings, in particular, is amazing. Granted I may not have heard enough other speaker pairs and there may be much better pairs out there - that is why we listen to people like you haha. I do like the sound and I also like your assessments. I don't find that you go on and on - you just make the point that needs to be made. Thanks for what you do and more power to you. Looking forward to the MiniRig comparison and a Flip 5 or another comparison. Stay safe! 🔥🔥

I agree with you they claim 18 hours etc.But Mine was lasting 2 hours max. Thats why I sold it and I bought a Bose.Now I am so happy with bose Micro, and with my soundlink flexes😊

Go ahead and by the onyx studio 5. I have this and the xtreme 2 and you won't believe how much bass h/k can push out of that thing

how long playing music the batery don't end?
You notice any extra heat on the speaker especially during charging?
not when charging now. but i was going to mention this down the line, its charging at 1 amp not the 3 amps claimed. ok i have one charger, a ravpower that can get to 2 amps but two testers and multiple chargers including latest Qualcomm are charging at 1 amp. so thats why it doesnt get hot :(
it does get toasty at max volume though.

@@alanrossreviews it may have proprietary technology, I notice when I go from my samsung s9 to oneplus 8, I have to use oneplus charger in order to get the warp charge (fast charge technology) also have to use their cable too, which is a pain because either is cheap. it may apply here.

@@julx1787 they claim 60 watts but you can take that with a pinch of salt
@@alanrossreviews It doesnt sound as a 60w speaker, i have a 40w charge 5 that sounds louder
@@julx1787 watts is not sound level! there are many other variables that determine how loud it goes. watts is totally meaningless as i said without knowing how its been measured and the other variables.
