You know that dude has a wheelchair mount for his guns. Probably has the ability to attach at least two at a time.
@@AdoreYouInAshXI man’s a scooter technical
Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for Nuclear winter!
The hardest part is letting go
Idk I'm still on a hard pass on tht. I'll keep my normal winter with the Mojave lol.
In the back of my mind, I knew someone was going to say this...
Its been a goddamn cold and wet winter thus far in the Mojave. 28 degree right now where I am. No Nuclear winters needed.
War... war never changes
I am hoping that they put this tech into a flow-through 7.62 can. When they do it will certainly be my do-all can and I would happily purchase it.
Pappas has competition in the charisma department! This Mojave is top of my Death to Tyrants Day gift list!
I almost fell off of my chair when he casually stated it would be selling for $1099.
Yeah I was not expecting that out of Dead Air.
Especially when it's 3D printed. I know its titanium but they can make it in mass and sell at an affordable price. I'm sorry but this is a hard pass for me...
I can understand the price point. More expensive materials, investment for quality 3D machines, and engineering. Over time, the price should drop. But so far, every can that has been 3D printed, is lighter and is higher performing. If this is their first 3D printed can, they did not buy an Amazon 3D printer. They have to make up for the intial upfront investment.
@@coach- Titanium filament.
Dude get out of here.
You never know, he might have meant $10.99!
James gives such good interviews lmfao
From a manufacturing standpoint, they are using extra material to be able to have enough to machine down for looks, those are unnecessary added processes that are going to affect cost purely for a cosmetic look
When is the 5.11 girl segment?!? Give the people what they want James!! You know it’s the best part of SS!!
226 was indeed the correct answer.
05:33 Pappas coming around to see who James is talking to. *_"Why can't I quit you?"_*
The super confused look on James' face is amazing.
I have to imagine James had 'Glock 17' as the most correct answer to his last question.
Hell of an interview
Pappas is a good man.
Obviously the best host for it is a YEET CANNON
Guntuber's stand together against TH-cam or fall.
Need this for my usp asap
The Triskelion is also from Captain America and it is where Hydra was headquartered once they infiltrated the US. I think it is in the Winter Soldier movie.
Triskelion is also the name of an artifact creature in the trading card game Magic: The Gathering.
Been waiting for this one. You can tell by how early I’m here lol.
Mike Pappas at the end there
I LOVE all of my Dead Air products!!!😃
So Mojave 9 or wolf man?
The guy with his reduced mobility scooter passing like an accordion i
Now if we can just keep p series attachments in stock. Can’t find a tri lug for my wolfman anywhere!
Am i the only one who thinks it makes absolutely no sense an insane! that you have to pay an beg the government to make your gun maybe 20DB quieter... how is this still a law?
Next is tax stamps for ear plugs.
Does Mossberg have a booth this year?
Magpul booth?
Why no sweet buns?
or what i call, the dead air must-jave
No breakfest with Pappas?
When can we print them at home?
Literally rn I just did one took 15hrs
Do Want!
April 13, 2023----Curious....can a silencer be printed with a metal 3D printer?
Yes, most of them are printed with a DMLS laser printing process. Huxwrx did something similar with the flow 556k.
17-4 stainless steel seems typical for the material but others can be used
James as Capt. Kirk, Gamester of Triskeleon(sp)
Biology references hahah
Looks awesome. I wish the K configuration was shorter though, maybe going from 7.625 down to 4-4.5
I also can’t see myself paying $1100 for a pistol can, but to each their own
Pistol/rifle can. .300 BO rated if that helps...
@@jackwalsh5270 Pretty much every 9mm can works with 300 subs, and many work with 300 supers. Their Wolfman for instance (which I have and love) works for both of those, as well as 5.56, but costs $300 less. The Mojave will sell, just feels a little ridiculous on the price.
@@unashamedly1776 I have both the Odessa and the Wolfman. I would be shocked if this new can could actually fill a niche that the others don't.
Ah who am I kidding? Gotta catch em all.
I need to find a woman that looks at me the way James looks at Mike. 🤣🤣
Why the mic toss at the end it's so extra 😅
CGS really changed the game with DMLS and Hyperion tech! Now everyone is using it. Is CGS at shot show? I want to see the Sci-Six! I want to see this Mojave on a sub gun. Maybe an AR-9 to see the reduced blowback characteristics. Thanks for the coverage!
I agree. I cant decide between rugged obsidian 9, dead air wolfman, Huxwrx cash 9k, and now the Mojave for my AR9
I shoot left handed so blowback can bother me a bit
I've gone through a ratchet on my Sandman and it's only been on my X95. I won't buy another DA can with that attachment method.
It's a wear item and if you email customer service they'll send you a new one. Also, put some lube on it. It's friction clutch plate and it'll wear after the oils have been cooked off.
@@toddmagee9168 Good point, thanks. I've had SF cans going on ten years and not a single failure
Give me a serria 5 but flow through! Money!
1100$ is a bit more than some of their non 3d printed cans you'd think it'd be the other way around.
That’s what I’m sayin, I thought 3D cans were suppose to be cheaper
It depends on the materials used, the start up cost of the 3D Printer machines, and how many parts are expected to be produced. It's worth a view at: th-cam.com/video/fzBRYsiyxjI/w-d-xo.html (The Material Science of Metal 3D Printing).
@@randyjohnson3654 why? the materials are the same, the machines are expensive as fuck and it still takes quite a long time to make it with a printer
@@randyjohnson3654 why would they be cheaper?
@@blodus4521 Less machining involved ( unless you do like dead air did and turn down the 3d print, still less machining though). Id also imagine you would use less material per suppressor since instead of turning down round stock and wasting a bunch of metal, you're doing additive machining. I just dont know why i would buy the $1100 3d printed suppressor over the dead air odessa for $750, I know I can run 300 blk out through it, but I find it hard to imagine people buying this over something like even a hybrid 46, or just a cheaper $600 dollar dedicated 300 can, then have a cheaper 9mm can. Just my 2 cents.
Db level. Can't just show up bc it's different.
That coarse titanium looks pores. How would you got about cleaning this ? Dunk it in a ultra sonic cleaner ?
So disappointing that Pappas was only in the last few seconds of this video. James, did you forget to buy him a sandwich this year!?
Not cheap.
A great video. Can you shoot the.357 Mag.through this sound suppressor? Is it going to be safe to be tucked into one's shorts?A very interesting device have a good one.
I'm sorry but how exactly does "earthy" sound? I know how "earthy" tastes but I've never heard this description for a sound. Wtf.
I do love DA. Just purchased the Sierra-5.
But Ouch!! I compare everything agains YHM as the floor. How much more am I getting V’s what YHM can do for less than half the price?!?! R9 is $500 MSRP and paid $440. Shoots 9mm and 300Blk. So for $1099 MSRP do I get double the ANYTHING? Obviously that’s unrealistic. But at some point it’s sever diminished returns. Just not feeling this 1 as a big enough improvement for double the cost. But I still want it. I want 1 of everything
If you ever have a baffle strike you would have paid for a can with a lifetime warranty. YHM has a basically non-existent warranty now, and it will actually cost you to get a can repaired. On top of that if you think they caused the issue that resulted in a strike, you foot the bill to send your barrel and mounts to them for investigation. That alone is worth the price of a better can with a warranty. One trip back to YHM for a $200 repair, and you could have bought the better can, and not have to worry about trip #2. Add on top of that the shady business practice of selling thousands of cans with a "no questions asked" warranty, and then changing the warranty post purchase.
Looks like another great host for some baffle strikes yeet
226...my dawwwg
Boo hiss. I was hoping this would be a flow through rifle can
After James has visited the B&T factory in Switzerland, he knows that there aren't many suppressor that come even close to surviving the B&T test procedures ! 🤣
BTW, titanium is definitely not the way to go on a suppressor !
🤜💥🖐️🤘
Hmmm, no Pappas interview
Shot show is ruined
I had a girlfriend that had a triskelion tattoo. It was definitely an experience.

So cheap they are paying you to take it away. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Will still be overpriced af
No can should cost more than the weapon it's going on. Ear plus are so much cheaper. This stuff is priced for military $ LE agencies. Too damn high dollar
Lmao. They want people to pay $1100 for a 3D-printed flow-through suppressor that’s hardly even .300BLK supersonic rated but will have the end caps melt?
Save yourself the headache and buy a CGS or HUXWERX. You get magnum-rifle machine-gun rated 3D-printed suppressors at about the same price point.
First
Rugged obsidian 9 still beats everything in size, weight and performance.
What about the CGS Mod9?
I own a Nomad-L, but I'll stick with my CGS Mod-9....
