- Apr.26 -- BlackRock Inc. Chief Executive Officer Larry Fink describes the “tectonic shift” of money out of fossil-fuel companies and into sustainable assets and explains his optimism for carbon-cutting technologies. He also comments on President Joe Biden’s emissions-cutting plan and makes the case for activism on issues of concern to employees and clients. Fink spoke exclusively to Erik Schatzker at the Bloomberg Green Summit.

Your employees are asking you to speak up on issues that have nothing to do with the business? Remind them that this is business and the purpose of a business and their employees and management is to maximize profits and if they want to be activists, they have to do it on their own time. You don’t maximize profits by taking a side on an issue irrelevant to your business and alienating half the country. If they insist on being activists while at work, fire them. Considering how much private equity employees get paid, especially at the largest firm, it should be pretty easy to replace them and you will have a lot of options to choose from.
Despite the economic crisis, this is still the good time to invest in Stocks, Gold and Crypto.
The rich spend less and invest more

I do agreed w a lot of things he saids in this . My biggest concern about any kind of fuels is costs , effectiveness n time I’m just not sure if it worth it or we just really need a better technologies in this . I’m leaning toward technologies tbh bc it might be a cheaper route and more effective

What about gasoline engines that get over 100 mpg. This engine would use much less energy than utility / electric companies that generate electricity with much more waste of fuel, thus being much more energy efficient than electric cars. There are many ways to "skin a cat"
but at the same time, -he has already bought a super yacht, and are ready to dump into nowhere ...

I call you, you call me son, that is end of story man.. I am not a politician, you have no idea the amount of inappropriate random person influence which I have had to let go without doing anything in return. I don't believe in revenge, I believe in self improvement. that is why I work around the clock, or else, I have nothing against anybody besides anyone who is constantly diverting my attention, orchestrating conflicts, or isn't honest or is interacting in good faith. I think these are fair and cogent reasons for me to sit back and relax, don't you think?
I feel like getting Larry to be also my financial advisor and career councilor. because I could really benefit from someone like him at this very moment, I am mostly confused with how my wanting to visit America keeps bringing up the taxation as if this were a risk. like I could leave the money in the piggy bank, I can still travel the place, meet people who I wish to meet and greet with, etc..
what should I do larry? just call you? don't lead on any more plans to visit places? talk about the bermuda triangle?
