I’m sure that with each passing day playing this game, Chaz is more and more sure of his decision to one day smash Stephen’s kneecaps with a golf club IRL.
"I know what you're thinking, the last time we did one hole was an hour of Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, and that's not what this is." *Video is close to 45 minutes long*
This is my favourite episode of Steven and Friends, not even joking. It was so fun listening to everyone tell their stories over the backdrop of the most monotonous golf course ever. I watched every minutia of it and I would listen to a Steven and Friends podcast, I've been watching yall for a decade at this point, so it was awesome to get to hear such personal stories and get to know everyone better.
As an avid watcher of GWYF, I watched this hole for about 20 minutes before realizing this hole will not be changing visually, so I just left it on audio for college and jobs stories. Edit: oh nice hole 18 is different, glad I tuned in for the end! Legit enjoyed the different stories yall shared, will definitely put this on as background noise in the future!
This was a good video to have at the end of my day. The podcast vibes, the simple gameplay- now I can have a good sleep after unwinding. And then yoy hear the term "Golf Edging" and you stay awake all night.
I absolutely watched the whole thing 😂 I tend to tune out “podcasts” so the stories interspersed with comments about beans and going off course were perfect
I watched the whole video. Though a good chunk of it was less watching, and more staring blankly at the screen while enjoying the conversations. It was still a fun time.
I was so into everyone’s stories and I didn’t realize that my eyes were actually glued to the screen and I was actually watching the video while listening instead of treating it like a podcast This is probably the golf with your friends video I was the most into because of the stories though I think
*starts watching Stephen & Friends* Me: this is just a podcast *Stephen commenting this is just a podcast* Me: *shocked Pikachu meme* *Nicolas Cage "You don't say" meme*
That pachinko hole 18 was awesome. Kind of half watched, but at least golf gave my mind something to focus on. Thanks to that, this was the easiest podcast to listen to.
lmao Just got to the question; I've only been watching on and off. The video's been on in the background while I've been playing games. Great work as always, y'all! Been watching this beautiful chaos for ~3 years now and loved every second
I think my saddest uni meal was probably cold leftover stuffing. If we also count sad snacks, then there had been plenty of times where I would just eat a large number of dill pickles in the middle of the night. Way too many pickles.
I watched the whole thing. My wife and I watch all the Stephen and Friends videos together. She fell asleep laying with her feet in my lap and I was trapped.
Truthfully I like to put a bunch of Stephen and Friends Videos on while I am packing for art shows, so while I only listened to this episode (it was fantastic and I got a laughing cramp) I kinda do that for most episodes.
So I usually watch these as I'm doing something else but this time I decided I was going to sit down and actually watch it. And so I did. Of course I picked the one episode that is essentially a podcast but it was great!
I did indeed watch all the way through XD. To be fair, I was eating dinner, so I had something else to concentrate on, too. It was fun to hear stories, though! Podcast-type episodes like this are some of my favorites.
Put this on in the background while drawing, so looking up occasionally to see the exact same fall through the tower made it feel like time stood still
In terms of watching the video, I think I watched around 70% of it. But even the parts I wasn't actually watching, it was because I was doing some writing on another screen, so I still had the video up on my other screen
Saddest college meal: Trash Burrito. I had a burrito that I left next to our couch wrapped in aluminum foil in a plastic container for like a week and when I came back looking forward to eating it my roommate told me he threw it out but hadn't taken out the trash, so I went through the trash saw that it was still completely fine and microwaved that sucker. I didn't think it was a sad meal but many people believe I was going through something at that time. A good college memory: I helped a friend of a roommate, who is now a close friend, get a girlfriend and she had come over to hang out for the first time at our apartment. My friend from like Kindergarten was also coming over and when he walked through the door, his brain thought "I should tell them I got a girlfriend who happens to be 18 years old", but his mouth screamed, "What's up guys I'm a p********!" Then turned to see the new girl in the room and brushed it off like it was nothing. Worst Job: I worked helpdesk for a general IT company. One of our clients had a data breach and decided to reset all of their 3000+ employees' passwords all at once. I had a 72-hour work week that month. I watched the video, occasionally turning it into a podcast.
Most of these golf with your friends videos I listen to as a podcast, mostly cause I would like to experience these courses on my own time and don't want spoiled
I very much enjoyed this podcast! I watched the first few holes, the last one, and whenever it sounded like something interesting happened on screen; otherwise I mainly listened
On one hand, I watched the whole video. On the other hand, "watched" means I had it on one of my monitors while I played GTA V on the other one. On the OTHER other hand, I do this for literally everything I watch, so this video wasn't an exception, and I still paid attention to the visuals. You decide where this falls.
I had it as a podcast for the most part for the first half of it while I washed dishes, but I did actually watch the latter half or so of it once I was done with aload of dishes.
i used the first half as a podcast and watched the second half, loved all of the stories. Also if jon can spinoff disc only with disc lonely you can, and I know most of us would listen to the stephen and friends disc only: gaiden the podcast/ more golf with your friends story time.
I did watch the whole thing and it definitely was a trip. I did nothing beforehand, but the repetition and the podcast dialogue gave me a very strange high-like feeling.
I had ya'll on my TV while I helped clean & decorate around the house. So I did start watching but when ya'll started talking college & job stories I just had this as background noise. I did pay attention to the stories tho!
I've seen/heard other channels use repetitive game footage as a sorta podcast (Game of Life 2 is good for this) so that could be an idea for the occasional episode. We have so many friends, it'd be nice to learn more of the & Friends.
I almost had to watch it TWICE, thanks to a button mishap. But I 'watched' it. I zoned out a few times but it was a great video to let my eyes relax for... well, 45min
When I'm doing something, I'll usually put your videos as background noise. And I didn't realize this video was kinda like a podcast util you said it 😅
I’m sure that with each passing day playing this game, Chaz is more and more sure of his decision to one day smash Stephen’s kneecaps with a golf club IRL.
Honestly after this episode i want a S&F podcast, the college talk moments was so entertaining.
I watched the whole video all the way. Seeing golf balls rolling is strangely hypnotic.
yeah its like those marble run videos
"I know what you're thinking, the last time we did one hole was an hour of Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, and that's not what this is."
*Video is close to 45 minutes long*
"Five minutes" they said. Me looking at the video length "something....something happened here"
glad for the throwback to gta heists where alex is eating cold tortillas out of the fridge
but now with handheld chicken
If anything, this is an upgrade
Totally used this as a podcast after about hole 5.
I watched intermittently
I wouldn't say no to a StephenCorp podcast, but I'm not sure Chaz would approve of adding another project!
I legitimately watched the whole video. I never thought about using it as a podcast until this video.
I sat down... and WATCHED this entire video while eating lunch. It was fucking incredible. I do not regret it
I did too. Great 5 minute hole(s)!
@@ZmanAce a 5 minutes well spent!

Loved the inaugural Stephen & Friends Podcast episode entitled "Golf Edging."
I did indeed watch this entire video. Listening to fun friend stories while watching golf balls roll is a very enjoyable was to spend 45 minutes!
This was a good video to have at the end of my day. The podcast vibes, the simple gameplay- now I can have a good sleep after unwinding.
And then yoy hear the term "Golf Edging" and you stay awake all night.
This was half watch, half podcast, and it was glorious
Obviously I watched it. It was experiencing the pain of others in video form. Hilarious the entire way. 😂
This was background listening while I did chores. Would definitely tune in to a S&F podcast
Glad I watched this entire thing just to hear the phrase “golf edging” right at the end. Thanks, Alex.
I can confirm that I watched the whole thing. It's nice to have a bit of casual golf on in the background while listening to a podcast.
Can we add the mentioned sad foods to either Eddie or the TotK food machine?
I watched the whole thing, this truly was a golf with your friends game
I half-watched this while playing a game on my other screen. that being said, this is the best 'podcast' and I wouldn't mind more of this
I actually watched the video instead of using it as a podcast, but that comment made me think of how great a Stephen and friends podcast would be 😂
I was so into everyone’s stories and I didn’t realize that my eyes were actually glued to the screen and I was actually watching the video while listening instead of treating it like a podcast

13:25 munchies ain’t an excuse, that’s just mean.
I did watch the golf but I also liked listening to everyone talking about college and job experiences.
The golf really adds to the ambience, so yes I watched all the way through!
lmao Just got to the question; I've only been watching on and off. The video's been on in the background while I've been playing games.
Great work as always, y'all! Been watching this beautiful chaos for ~3 years now and loved every second
Watched the whole video on a 50' TV on the living room had a great time Dan did a great job editing this one
I think my saddest uni meal was probably cold leftover stuffing. If we also count sad snacks, then there had been plenty of times where I would just eat a large number of dill pickles in the middle of the night. Way too many pickles.

I watched the full video start to finish while eating turkey! Thank you for sharing such fun and relaxing content for so long!
I was watching it but man this is the greatest bond experience I have ever heard.
So I usually watch these as I'm doing something else but this time I decided I was going to sit down and actually watch it. And so I did. Of course I picked the one episode that is essentially a podcast but it was great!

I watched the whole thing. I don't know why. It was weirdly hypnotizing watching y'all go down the slope.
I did watch it all the way through, while eating my lunch.
That was great fun to watch!! Commentary/podcast was fine. :-P
Put this on in the background while drawing, so looking up occasionally to see the exact same fall through the tower made it feel like time stood still

Watched the entire video. This was such a relaxing episode of Golf with Your Friends.
I actually watched the entire video, it was a really good way to kill time on a train ride.
Steven and friends round table talk would be a great show
I watched the whole thing
It was weirdly relaxing and therapeutic
i used it for both podcast and video. was texting a friend while watching
Actually watched the whole video but with breaks in-between because I'm watching at work
Oh i watched the whole thing alright 39:59
Video kept me company for lunch at work
I watched MOST of the video, other than when I was in the kitchen making my lunch. So I probably watched about 75-80% of it
Most of these golf with your friends videos I listen to as a podcast, mostly cause I would like to experience these courses on my own time and don't want spoiled
I very much enjoyed this podcast! I watched the first few holes, the last one, and whenever it sounded like something interesting happened on screen; otherwise I mainly listened
This was great lol. Mostly watched this, but would love this as a podcast too 😂
This was such an entertaining video! I watched and listened to the whole thing.
I absolutely watched the whole thing. I never even considered looking away.
I loved watching this video lol i dropped everything when it was next in the playlist lol
They should do more Golf With Your Friends podcasts.
I did treat this mostly like a podcast but I will watch it again in a week or two and actually watch it UwU
I watched the “hole” thing! It was so cathartic to see the golf balls go down the spiral as weird as that sounds!
i always use golf with your friends as a podcsast, i jsut watch when people are freaking out to see the chaos
Oh, I definitely had this playing in another tab while "watching" it
Oh I ABSOLUTELY used this vid as a podcast
I was up at 4 am feeling like crap, so I was half watching and half falling asleep.
i actually watched the video yall. there are dozens of us... dozens!!!
So I did, indeed, watch the whole video. lol The monotony of the course was a benefit to me as it's helped me get nice and sleepy and ready for bed~
I did genuinely watch this, though I may or may not have also been playing a mobile game on the side...
Totally used as a pod cast.. but that's how i use most videos tbh. Just nice to have in the background while playing games myself.
I did watch it. Bored out of my mind, but I did watch it :P At least the conversations were stimulating to listen to!
I had breakfast and did some college work while listening to this LOL
I had it as a podcast for the most part for the first half of it while I washed dishes, but I did actually watch the latter half or so of it once I was done with aload of dishes.
I watched...all the way. But listening to the stories was pretty awesome.
this was a great episode of the Stephen and Friends Podcast
I was cooking AND eating food at the same time! 🍗🥔
i used the first half as a podcast and watched the second half, loved all of the stories. Also if jon can spinoff disc only with disc lonely you can, and I know most of us would listen to the stephen and friends disc only: gaiden the podcast/ more golf with your friends story time.
Watched the whole thing and I don’t regret it!
I watched the whole video, and may come back to it as a podcast later
Watched all the way through. Golf with your friends bad shots are funny to watch.
I watch all my yt videos on 2x but yes I did watch this entire thing haha. It was so mesmerizing :P
I did watch the whole thing and it definitely was a trip. I did nothing beforehand, but the repetition and the podcast dialogue gave me a very strange high-like feeling.
What a wild talk therapy episode
Actually did watch, but enjoyed the conversations that accompanied the 18 circles of hell that was this course haha
Watched the whole thing, eyes on the video, with a break to watch one of the StephenPlays shorts Juliette edits. :)
I had ya'll on my TV while I helped clean & decorate around the house. So I did start watching but when ya'll started talking college & job stories I just had this as background noise. I did pay attention to the stories tho!

I watched the whole thing while having morning coffee!
100% listened to it as a podcast.
I almost had to watch it TWICE, thanks to a button mishap.
But I 'watched' it. I zoned out a few times but it was a great video to let my eyes relax for... well, 45min
This was a great podcast. Very fun just listening to everyone shoot the shit
I watched it but the main value was as a podcast, absolutely. More of this would be good!
i watched but every 5 minutes visually zoned out and just listened until zoning back in
100% podcast while washing up 😂
When I'm doing something, I'll usually put your videos as background noise. And I didn't realize this video was kinda like a podcast util you said it 😅
This was very good! I love it
I podcasted it, glancing at the screen every now and then and each time someone was going down the slope
