The isles broke before the guard did
XD so fucking true i was apart of that battle pushing vehicles to the front until we got attacked in logi area from behind so we had to set up a front line in the back. made 5 half tracks and 2 tanks in the span of 3 hours god i hope they where used.

I was part of the later infantry incursion to liberate the oarbreaker Isles.
There was a proper meat grinder on the Eastern bridge at Martius on the ides.
We pushed, they held, they pushed, we stole their auto weapons and pushed back.
Proud to say I took out one of their halftracks with the AT gun.
Easily the best bridge fright I've been in so far.
Our sandbag game was as good as their trench game.
I was part of the east front. We were abandoned by the west in times of trouble, so we left them to survive.

I have to say Wardens put up one hell of a fight this war, really made us pay for every inch of land we took with how many suicide charges they made to reclaim their territory.

The amount of work it took to Take Western Isawa bridge was nuts, we fought over the same bridge time after time for 5-6 hours. Spent a solid half of that building up the backup BOB on Western Isawa North of the Bridge.
Abandon ward was a hellhole by the end of the conflict nothing was left.
We have a cunning plan for the next war, if the vehicle balance remains the same. Sorry in advance for the fallout!

I was on the warden side of conclave one of our biggest pitfalls was that fucking French clan who refuses to cooperate with anyone else…

I fought entirely in the conclave for the war. We somehow survived an extra 2 days after the collies pushed and destroyed half the island. We fought to the end in the name of Callihan.
i led the defense of the south bridge on that day died by sniper as we desperately tried to hold the colonials back during the waning hours of the defense
@@_Yomoholo_ i spent most of my time in the north doing everything from combat engineer to medic to mortar man. Was a wild defense.
Really gave us a run for our money there with how many times we kept getting repelled. All the colonials after fighting there called it a night and took the day off after taking it. You wont believe how tiring it was trying to take just that one city
@@maxwellschmidt4498 indeed it was the south bridge was much calmer than the north, or at least i assume so.
we had low casualties throughout the battle but once the island ran out of shirts we slowly bled out as the collies brought up even more heavy equipment in the form of boats and arty and even a ballista tank.
however we managed to destroy the ballista by baiting it into driving into the broken part of the bridge trapping it, and soon after we destroyed 2 trucks and a crane which the collies brought up in an attempt to get the tank out of its predicament

The reason the conclave held as long as it did was probably due to the fact that we constantly kept feeding them with our equipment. Hell, in the last two days, most of the equipment besides pistols I looted were argentis. Not even talking about how much armour we gave the Wardens

So, I've noticed that colonials are usually better organised in offensive and have overall more players. I prefer wardens, and I'm currently learning to counter bayonet charges.
Wasn’t always like this, Warden vets like me are well known for taking very long breaks. I’m starting to play again so maybe that’s a sign the warden vets are coming back

no. there are few defenders in the backline who are always breaking their backs to build what little we can.
Wrong, thats the warden's description. Wardens are way more organized and have more players than the colonials. They have a bigger player base thanks to their artists promoting warden propaganda back in the day.
The only reason why it seems there are so many colonials online is because the actual Warden main force never showed up for several wars. The key clans of the wardens aren't working right now.

Dude "Saltingrad" was a mad hell as well, we kept pushing from 2 fronts and it took literally 3 irl days to break the defence line, they even rebuilt the factories at some point, mad respect
I member. When i logged first time we were North of Brackish/Vulpine and fighting you goblins near rocks. We pushed you back to Brackish TH and took the city that we held til EU night. Next day i logged to see we got Salt and we started to fight for every streets.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd sieges of the Conclave is history worth to be remembered.
I was one of the last people in the Conclave in the end they had to bring a "Ballista Tank" and "Gas Grenades" to get me out of the bunker :D

Our higher-ranks constantly kept telling our people to not bring excessive amounts of equipment.. then our Pte's gave you a ballista and like two spathas

I was only ever on the northern bridge defense but the first time I was there it was arty all day on our position! Those collies gave a test of our will and we held!!!

I joined around day 270 on my first day. I bounced around a bit but finally settled on the east front. I gave the collies hell at Anchor Beach, Lockheed, and Blackreach for days. Best of luck for War 80 boys!

I started on on day 160 and hell yall did a good job at pushing us collies back at Anchor beach
I spent my first 8 hours in the game defending Lockheed. Spent my next 8 with a friend who also just bought the game defending Lockheed. At one point the Collies pushed us completely off the bridge, had the North and South side completely swarmed and I assume were planning to rebuild the bridge. That was till me and my friend grabbed one of the 40mm and pushed those sonuvabitches all the way back over to their side in ten minutes after hours of trying to get them there.
Was there twice when we tried to rebuild the fucking thing. Got off a few hours before they were successful at taking the region.
this was the first war I joined from the start. One of my best moments was holding the southern end of Plana Fada when a Collie battery destroyed our BB and turned the situation from "stable" to "panik". The fallback BB had no supplies and shirts at all, so we spent an hour holding off Collies with pistols, prayers, and scavenges until our logi boys resupplied our newly built BB.
Hats off to the logi boys on the eastern front, yall were solid. Let's build up more fallback defenses next war yeah?

2:43 Actually nah, Colonials are called Colonials cause they colonize everything, they were never part of the "Warden Empire". Colonials are something of a federation of many different nations themselves (all under the rule of Mesea) and many years ago they brought down Caoiva (the Warden's country) to its knees (reasons unknown). Currently the Wardens are trying to take back the land that used to be theirs.

I got on 3 days ago, and have led several successful operations on Shard 2, me and the lads of the 69th infantry have been raisin hell on the Warden lines in the Deadlands, I helped organize the charge that broke the stalemate and allowed us to retake the Pitt and Sun’s Hollow (shoutout to JelliedBoar who led us to victory)

My regiment was Warden this war, to see if we could avoid another 6-day war. We exclusively fought in Deadlands.
I'm proud to say the Wardens really stepped up their game this time.

egiment for ourselves. We immediately feel in love with the game man. We played the wardens to get a feel. Wardens were cool but damn the collies have some good guns. We were scavenging for those argenti semi-rifles. We may switch just for the weapons

Alts are a menace to both sides. We had one on the collie side who was taking tanks secretly to the Wardens.
If you want to help out your team with tactics like this, do partisaning without having to log on to the opposing faction.
This really hurts the game and makes people untrustworthy of one another in a game where you place trust in your fellow brother in arms for survival

The Conclave was a nightmare on the north not gonna lie it was intense. we pushed pretty hard and even stole the Wardens tanks and artillery. you bastards put up one hell of a stand, like the Rats of Tobruk.

I will say to the wardens, the tempest invasion was damn amazing. I was one of the few who saw that force on their way. Gave us absolute hell for the few hours they held that place
As one of the Wardens who fought in Conclave during the first surrounding (unfortunately RL got busy so I couldn't play for the second), that was intense. We were down to single-digit shirts at some points and ammo wasn't any better. If there wasn't that push that managed to restore our supply lines, I doubt we would've lasted another day IRL.
Meanwhile i got stuck bridge fighting at endless shore for like a week

the war is really complicated but the collies aren't rebels, they're a federation of southern republics trying to destroy the Caoiva Empire (Wardens). The Bulwark which is on the collie side of the map is a great wall built some 200 years ago to keep the southern republics out of Caoiva. If I have my lore correct that is.

That lore is goblin propaganda, Mesea was never under Caoiva’s dominion and it has in fact subjugated other nations (Most notably Veli, Caoiva’s former ally)

The Irish joke makes more sense than you even thought it did, as the Warden Language is has its roots in Gaelic and has a strong Anglo-Gaelic vibe to it, so the Wardens being Irish isn't wrong.

Fun thing is that throughout this war I had spent almost all my time in the dead lands and… oh boy were the wardens both the most stubborn in the beginning with their gun emplacements (had some fun in the plaza with a 14.5), but on the 13th there just wasn’t anything there hardly any defenses wardens had wasted materials layering the plaza with nothing but mines. So when I coupled up with some guys in tanks we hand drove up the left side and faced little to no resistance. Except soon after in irons end)
Having the same issue with the current war, that HUGE french clan which will go unnamed. *cough* Refuses to cooperate with any other clan in the area. That was one of the KEY reasons the Wardens lost, and it's one of the KEY reasons we after 12 hours of straight fighting LOST an area when the Americans went to bed leaving it to the fresh frenchies to hold.
The Americans attacked for twelves hours to break the lines, and it took the French less than three to lose it all. Honestly, I blame the french.
Uh, aren't the Colonials called such because _they're_ the colonizers and not themselves a former colony? Fairly substantial difference there.

hold on, my understanding of the lore was like: the colonials were living happily until the wardens showed up and invaded us so we can be a part of their empire, but the colonial allies helped to push out the wardens which went successfully, after like a couple of days the colonials made their move and invaded the wardens for revenge (which is the current never ending wars right now).
The faction screens seem to suggest the current war is started by the Wardens. IIRC the warden one says the Southerners left their home shattered And their honour destroyed, and they are going to "take it back", and the colonial one says "when they marched on our border, it ignited a flame that refused to be extinguished".

Didn’t see most of the conflict in Conclave, but I saw the end of the conflict there, the last days when days and weeks of starvation of supplies compounded into a deadly situation, cannons lay unfired, men salvaged ammo and food from the dead, they pushed within feet of the town hall at a point, pushed back, but shortly after I left, it fell, Godspeed to those we lost on that damned island.

I joined in the community a week ago can somebody explain who's the colonials and wardens? And why they are fighting
I've been writing a story of a soldier fighting in a broken world but has a hard time finding the right setting then i found foxhole if anybody can give me some lore, game history and the story behind some outfits like the dread korps also an artist would be great

Me and the Bois helped hold Feir for 3 hours, it was pure hell.
They kept coming in from due south and cutting off our supply route (North most bridge), so a group of 10-15 of us split off from the garrison and made a forward camp there to hold the supply route.
Then we finally got the docks under control and we came back to town, all this time, the enemies had a vase at the observation tower and we're pelting us with attacks from just about all sides.
yes... you got the conclave... but for a moment. the war end up being green.

I believe the canon is that the Wardens had an empire that threatened Veli, a country on the South of the map, so the Colonials, who had Veli as a puppet state, intervened and pushed the Warden's empire back to the North. In the "modern" timeframe of the game, the Wardens are revanchists wanting to reconquer their old empire's land, while the Colonials (who have since presumably subjugated Veli into their own empire) are, well, colonizing. Neither faction is morally watertight in the slightest.
