This is so much better than the original. The original blue version was so unrealistic in color. Come on, a big herbivore being blue? Stands out way to much for carnivores. I personally think most of the colors of BOTM were to flashy and not that all that realistic (apart from maybe Pachirhinosaurus and Monoclonius (Centrosaurus junior)), but Torosaurus in particular looked ridiculous with its blue color. Big animals usually don't have flashy colors. The colors used for the collection are based on small reptiles. But if you look at big living reptiles like crocodillians, Komodo dragons, Galapagos toirtoises and anaconda's there are no flashy colors. Same with big mammals. I appreciatie the effort and love the molds but many are just to flashy for realism. The colors should have been kept to like those used in documentaries like WWD. I only bought the blue one because I didn't knew there was going to be a repaint. Apart from the cross hairs on the frill I really like this one. Just wish they kept the colors more accurate to WWD, they still seem too flashy. I do think that this is still kinda flashy, but it is far more realistic than the original.
When this figure comes into stock, I gonna display it with the wwd rex when tyrannosaurs ship out, I know they are not in scale, but I feel like they would compliment each other.

That's true of you consider that 9 m of lenth was really tops and in average it was 8-9 m long, like Triceratops horridus. Otherwise, it's 1:20 scale. Because there's relatively little information, I am personally OK with giving the figure sixe the benefit of the doubt, LOL. Otherwise, it's 1:20 scale, but I still think that's acceptable to mix with 1:18 scale and I'm obsessed with scale (the only ceratopsian I got from BOTM that's trully off scale is Pentceratops and it was my fault for not double-checking sooner).

As Walking with Dinosaurs documentary fan, i love this coloration on Torosaurus, so Dino-fantastic 😊! This repaint so Dino-marvelous on my eyes 🤗.

Would've been badass to get this in 1/35 scale so that it could be put with the upcoming 1/35 scale WWD t.rex.

I prefer the first but this one isn’t bad
I kinda wish they took the opportunity to resculpt the frill to have scales to be more paleontologically accurate.
