@@atxbourbon I am not a huge finished whiskey guy, but the sag port is delicious. 6 yr rye finished for 3 yrs in port barrels, so 9 yr total. That and the sagamore VDN they just released are my two favorite finished whiskeys I have had. And if you haven’t tried it their own distillate is fantastic too. The bottled in bond and their newly released small batch is 100% their own juice
@@atxbourbon it’s really good stuff. Wish I had easier access to their products, but if you see the 6 yr BiB or the new small batch that outlines it is 100% 4-6 yr sagamore distillate I highly recommend
My favorite port is the sagamore port (batch 3a). Blows away MWND in my opinion
The initial batch of the Sagamore Port Finished was great! I haven't tried the 3a
