Great job, Jose. Few non-DC people realize how beautiful ALL of DC is. It is full of wonderful neighborhoods and has some truly wonderful suburbs, too, like Bethesda, Silver Spring, Arlington & Alexandria. I lived in Dupont Circle for 20 years and it was fabulous, but it is VERY difficult to find parking there or anywhere in downtown DC. That's the bad news, but the good news is you just don't need a car if you live there. It's a great relief to get rid of your car. If you need a car for a while, there are ZipCars on every block and of course Lyft & Uber.
I love DC's neighborhoods and can't wait to film some more. The Capitol Hill cast a big shadow over the rest of DC which many people don't realize there are many more amazing areas to explore. Its almost like saying I Love New York and people forgetting there are 4 other boroughs outside of Manhattan. I've come to the conclusion that Big City parking is just bad all over. Whether Boston, DC, or Philly, I tend to give up looking for parking.
My family lived in Foggy Bottom when I was born and my great aunt lived on Virginia Ave the site of the Watergate Hotel. I grew up in DC and had a wonderful upbringing and lots of great memories of those times.😊 That Dupont Circle station I used to go to & from work on Connecticut Ave.
Thank you for this interesting video of my native Washington, D.C. I worked in DuPont Circle for years and I wasn't aware, the Dupont Underground. I assumed you were Dominican before you stated in the video, you were born in the Dominican Republic. 😁As an Afro Boricua, I can relate to Afro Latinos from the Caribbean.
You really make me want to visit D.C.!
It’s the best time to go. Flowers are in blossom, weather is still comfortable before that summer heat, and there are so many great new attractions.
Do it! I just visited for the first time last week and I loved it so much I have a 2-3 year plan to move there.
So well shot and produced. Thank you Jose!
I was born and raised in Georgetown DC. Thanks!!!!

Jose, do you offer tours to DC, Maryland, Georgetown & Philly?
You can get on a tour bus at Union station.
DuPont Circle is actually a traffic circle, not a roundabout. It doesn’t have free flowing traffic.
The internet correctors 🤦🏾
Now, the worst hoods in DC.
You can't do one without the other.
