My favourite part of Monster Hunter is the weapons, there's so much variety from the simplicity of a Greatsword or Lance to the complexity of a Chargeblade or Hunting Horn. I just wish more hunters play with or try different weapons because it's like buying smash bros and only playing as Kirby. I think that's why Wilds will have the 2 weapons on a hunt to encourage people who only play longsword dual blades or bow to experiment with the other weapons.
Hopefully your channel explodes with Wilds coming soon. What I like about MH - build crafting and beautiful environments. And of course, fighting bosses.
Thanks so much mate. I really appreciate you saying that. I hope so to. Aww yeah the environments are gorgeous, especially the Coral Highlands. So nice to sometimes not hunt but just go for a stroll and look at things.
For me, MH is like a low-stress fighting game I can play. Learning to read the monster animations, timings, and knowing your weapons move set well enough to make it all flow together is so satisfying. I would be happy just fighting within the battle system, but the added crafting stuff creates this lovely grocery-list-dopamine-delivery-system as I build out an arsenal of gear that has synergy for my weapons. Great video, keep it up!
@DharmaPunkGames thanks so much for the encouragement. I know what you mean. I struggle with traditional fighting games because of the button combinations. And you're right, that gameplay loop of hunt -> make hat -> fight new monster -> make new shirt, is so infectious.
That's essentially the exact same way my cousins and I got into the series. We remembered that my dad had the game on psp, and we needed something to play online together, so we decided to check out Generations. Since then, we've played every release together, and it's been a blast.
Ah that must be so nice to come together and share that! I'm hoping to do some streams once Wilds comes out and play with the viewers. Don't normally get to do much more than jump in with randoms.
Arekkz weapon tutorials really helped to make sense of how to play. If not for that I probably put the game down and walk away. MHW btw. 1200 hours later and on a second playthrough, I keep taking breaks and come right back weeks later. Have all the weapons combos locked in my head. So excited for wilds.
just hoping that unlike in world, wilds will have good looking weapons, so far this seems to be true, but we will have to see. cant wait to see the next vid on borderlands!
Thank you, it's scripted, and I'll start recording real soon. Yes it definitely looks more promising regarding weapon designs. The balahara lance looked incredible. But there's always that slight reservation that they are going to hide the most extravagant designs behind a DLC paywall... they did something similar in sun break.
@amaninthewest8389 I don't mind paying for DLC if it'll add more content but those astral weapons where definitely the start of more crappy monetization, kinda like how the wyverian ears that a lot of people like are locked behind the deluxe edition in wilds
THANK YOU! That's lovely to hear. Delicious consequences? I'm very much planning to keep going. Obvs doing this in my spare time right now so it takes time to bring these out, but yeah definitely will.

@pandre5458 But kirby can eat people and take their powers and look cute while doing it. The variety is pretty nuts isn't it?

YES! So glad to hear that. And great that you can relate to my journey as well.

I love your video style. Keep posting. Or don't. But there will be consequences.
