Truly great band, I must get myself a copy of their album which I’ve not heard for a long time. I went to school with Alan Clarke’s brother who is a good guy and Clarke himself worked in shops in my local area in the ‘80’s and was also a good man. These guys were ahead of their time in Belfast with their anti sectarian stance when that could literally be dangerous for anyone’s health. I remember watching this live on The Tube that Friday. Great to see this in such great quality and thank you for sharing this.
Honestly, yesterday as I got this ready for release, I wondered if you had even just seen them, so it's great to see you had more of a connection with them. Thanks for always watching and commenting Edward🎸
@@ScottishTeeVeeUnfortunately I never got to see them live - I was just too young when they were playing round Belfast, and by the time I did start going to gigs, the band were at that time focusing on playing in England and Scotland. The band were known to be tough characters - they had to be in those days given their moral convictions in the face of what was a terrible time in Northern Ireland. I’ve been looking online for a copy of their album (which is great), I’ll be getting it when the next paycheck arrives.

NIce to hear from a viewer in Augsburg
Soo good 🤍
I'm liking this, a lot
This must be at the tube
It is, but STV is being cautious with exact details so that the video doesn't get blocked or pulled down as many others have been in the past.
