Ok so I’m watching replay highlights from this last season. In doing so, I’ve come to one conclusion: we need an upgrade for mendy. He’s great, when he’s turned on. That’s a 50/50 proposition. When he’s switched on, he’s spectacular. When he’s not…oof. We are solid at mid forward, and no need to address the striker position. Oh and keeper. Laiton is top quality made of glass. No trips to maidenhead will maybe help? Foster isn’t a good option. We need a top line championship caliber keeper. Isn’t leicesters backup a wrexham graduate? That’s the only two holes we have.
Ryan Reynolds should campaign for the Welsh teams that play in English leagues (Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and Wrexham) do be able to play in the Welsh cup again. They use to be able to but eufa introduced rules where a team can only compete in one country’s competitions. The winner of the Welsh cup gets a spot in the European cup, which would be massive for any of the four teams that could win it.
