​@oldman2383 I mean, that's the whole point of CCCC. It doesn't follow the storylines of what it covers. Some songs are relatively unchanged as they fit his storyline. However, using this song as example, The Mind Electric here isn't a song about a man receiving electroshock therapy for being accused of a murder. It's a triad of songs--Heart Acoustic, Mind Electric, and Soul Eclectic--that depict a story of a man broke into three pieces with the Heart and Mind having a conflict and the Soul struggling with the fallout.
It may not be the same as Miracle Musical's TME, but that's like the whole point of these covers. He's also, in a sense, paying tribute to Tally Hall. Listen to his covers of The Whole World & You or Welcome to Tally Hall. He's a fan.
Think of it as rebooting a show--same characters and stuff, but the storyline may be changed.
