Pretty sweet!
Satchel's playing is phenomenal, you'd think they just got the guitar track from Eddy and he adlibbed it, but no, he's just that good.
magnificent rendition 🖖🖖🖖
🎉 Thank you so much for this cool presentation, Dee! 😄 I'm thrilled that you find it to be a useful addition to your studio equipment. 🎧 As discussed, the FX-Loop extension for the N-audio Switcher will be ready by the end of this summer. 🌞 Cheers, Niki 🍻
Cheers Niki! Can´t wait for the FX Loop extension! This is gonna be rad!
Damn dude... I guess if you are drowning in enough family wealth to buy 8 amazing high-end amps you may as well get the king of amp switches. (That Friedman sounds amazing) One question tho... why does your Vox sound like ass? Is there something wrong with it or was that because you were trying to use an IR cab with a bright channel?
Hey! Thanks for your comment, I do like the Friedman a lot! And I totally agree, the 8x7 is absolutely the king of amp switchers. I usually record the VOX amp with microphones and use the Captor only for attenuating the volume in order to crank it and get all those sweet break-up sounds. However, for this video I recorded the Vox thru the Captor X and didn´t check the IR (my bad), it´s just whatever IR the Captor X loaded. Same with the Amp Central, it´s a random IR....in the room the Vox sounds pretty badass, still one of my fave amps, I play it all the time :)
Knowing music theory is Great, but some players that know alot of theory think to much when they play. Music to me anyway is more about sound and feeling. You need technical ability also to be able to play what you hear in your mind for example so that is also extremely important. I look at music theory as being book smart. While actual playing time and experience as being street smart in the world. So if you have both you are even more well versed, but I don't think music theory is really needed for everyone. Look at George Lynch for example. He openly admits to not knowing alot of music theory, but when you listen to his playing he clearly knows EXACTLY what works and how to compose a song and his guitar works is as good as any guitarist from the 80's and 90's then comapre George to Randy Rhoads and Randy knew all kinds of music theory. Point being both guys are incredible players one knew theory inside and out and one didn't but both are incredible guitarist.
Great comparison of the two! I totally agree with you.
@@DeeDammersOfficial Thanks for the reply man. Been following you for awhile. You're one of the most well versed guitarist I've heard in along time. You can play it all. Clearly you Know your music theory my friend. Cool video I like the gear videos you've been doing lately too.
GREAT Cover brother you and your boys Killed It. Matter of fact all the covers I've seen you do are Awesome. I listen to your Blackout cover more then the original.
I have a 60w Fender Supersonic that I love the way it sounds, but it is basically impossible to put it at home, do you think this attenuator would do its job so I can use it in my apartment without my neighbors wanting to shoot me???... the idea It would be like everyone else's if my amp continues to maintainthat beautiful sound it has without losing quality due to the attenuator, thank you very much!!!!
That´s what it was made for and how I use it myself :) Put it between the amp and cab and that will do the trick :)
Singer sounds way better than DLR
As a guy with three different degrees in music, my take is that knowing music theory is very helpful, particularly if you want to understand the construction of a song. But I would submit that it's definitely not a requirement, either for enjoying music or for creating it. In fact, sometimes I subscribe to the "analysis = paralysis" point of view. There are times where thinking too much about the music is counter-productive. Just play it.
I totally agree! Playing what you hear is the way to go. "Learn all the rules and then forget them" :)
very solid
They arent Van Halen.
Cool
👎🏻
Looks very similar to the THD Hot Plate
No one likes a step volume, huge fail for me right there.
I totally agree! I have the Silencer on -16 literally all of the time and use the stepless FINE control. I literally barely need less than -16dB however if I do, those steps between FULL and -14 really feel natural, as the difference in volume is really subtle, literally feels seemless.
Is this one using reactive load like the Ironman?
This is the response from TAD: „it depends on the damping settings and the boost switches. If the latter are activated, the reactive part increases at higher attenuations. When used as a pure load box, there is no reactive component at the line out or F.A.N.T.A. out.“
💙🤘🏻🎸🎶💙
This is absolutely the best guitar plan I’ve heard on unchained
Jacob Deraps
Satchel an german group🤘great cover!!
I’m sorry, but that’s Eddie Van Halen on the guitar you’re hearing not fooling me the drums the vocals are overdubbed on this. That’s just my opinion.

I can't get into it. Steel or Van.
One of my most fond memories was winning this contest in new orleans to go sing on stage with the atomic punks and Russ and the guys were like ... unbelievably supportive and amazing to talk to. Big ole nerds for music at the end of the day and getting to belt out panama with them as my "side men" was just something im going to die loving. They were all super cool about everything and did a nice photo session with me after the show (this was their own idea! I won a silent auction to go sing panama, that was it lol). Russ even waited out side of his bus for me to go get one of my guitars for him to sign, it was like 1am lol. I was in my very early 20s at the time, I didnt even for a moment consider their time; I was just enamored with the situation. These guys just handled me with outrageous grace and humble behavior I didnt deserve lol. Obviously I was glad to be there lol
Everyone played awesome. The vocalist reminds me of Bruce from Iron Maiden. Loved it. Old time rock n roll!
Stopped listening to guys who wear makeup
Awesome, but why did you cut it short? Was just getting ready for the guitar solo!
Good cover, but you skipped an entire part of it... Oh, I can see myself tearing up the road Faster than any other boy has ever gone Oh, and my skin is raw but my soul is ripe And no one's gonna stop me now, I'm gonna make my escape But I can't stop thinking of you And I never see the sudden curve 'til it's way too late And I never see the sudden curve 'til it's way too late Then I'm dying at the bottom of a pit in the blazing sun Torn and twisted at the foot of a burning bike And I think somebody somewhere must be tolling a bell And the last thing I see is my heart still beating Breaking out of my body and flying away Like a bat out of hell
This song totally captures the VH sound & attitude! It always amazed that it didn't receive more attention. I love it because it was before the 1984 album which brought in tons of new fans, pre-84 VH as like a secret club!
i thought they was younger guys parodying the 80s hair era,but no.....they are legit old and was around at the time they just didnt age too badly lmao
GAY
Awesome video! You got a new sub.
Killer cover ! Can you dig it?
Nice job guys!
This is insane 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
This was the Metal Version Of Van Halen that should have been more explored . 🌟💫✨⚡💥🔥💯👑🤦🤔😉😳😵🧐👀🫣😶🌫️🤯🚨❤️🔥🤨💍🤑👄🎸
Gentleman, Van Halen is the reason I have been playing guitar since 1980. VERY WELL DONE! Thanks to each of you for your time and talent.
Wow! Great playing guys I love it.
Listen to these talented guys and you realize just how staggeringly special DLR was as a vocalist and how the magic could only happen with DLR , ALEX , Mike and Eddy . This doesn't even remotely sound right even though every note is played and sung very proficiently . Genius is on another level way way beyond . Not even Hagar with his chops could remotely be Van Halen.
This is a epic solo...In Solo time need film only the Guitarplayer
Satchel is a monster! Great cover by the way! And we all love eddie Van Halen...(R.I.P.) Regards from Brazil
Satchel is the master
Gay for . Covid rules!🖕🖕Doing suckers
