I think you might be mistaken. Some tires are filled with nitrogen and some tires are filled with air but I don’t believe any tires are filled with pure oxygen. That could be quite dangerous.
I had this problem and after Filling the tires with the recommended pressure, the indicator lot and dinging on the inside of the vehicle has not stopped. What can I do to get the lot to go off as well as the alarm?
I have had a mechanic replace all the tpms sensors but they are universal ones. We cannot get any of the tires to read the pressure now. They are all blank. He rewrote the system and reset it multiple times with a computer but nothing is working. Any tips for this? Thanks
My jeep Cherokee is not recognizing my driver front tire even after I bought a tire pressure sensor from Amazon and had it installed. What shod I do, Help.
You have to have either a handheld that you enter the information from the sensor into it and it talks to the computer so that it recognizes it.. just buying it and having it installed will not let the system actually recognize the TPM S sensor You can buy the equipment or you can take it to a shop either way just installing it isn't the only step
Tires heat up when driving which in turn heats up the air in them making the pressure go up. In my opinion, people that don't understand these types of things shouldn't drive!
So what you're saying is if your tire pressure gets low and the warning light comes on to refill your tire? Wow you just saved my life!

Yeah you are right sorry by oxygen I meant Air

turning the car On and Off, every time it reset
Tenho este mesmo problema prescisa secar e depois enchelelo e isso
Anyone know how to change the thresholds ?
Mine goes from 36 to 38 when I’m on a long trip.? Can u explain why
ideal gas law...PV = nrT. As the temperature of the tire goes up so does pressure

@@nolanmaggipinto boom ! Was going to say the same thing.
Fonzy is being sarcastic. It would be like asking why on long trips does the gas gauge go down.
The tire heats up and creates more pressure that's it when it cools down it's less
WHERE IS THE TPMS RESET BUTTON?
Look under the steering wheel there is a little red button on the column.
Empty the tire to 0. Refill....you should be fine
thanks
