I go over fishing tips as far as secret spots, rods, reels, line, tackle and lures to help you catch multiple species from snook, tarpon, redfish, jacks, spanish mackerel, ladyfish, bluefish and blacktip sharks. I also reveal how to catch bait such as mullet and ladyfish , using a cast net or a snag rig. This video will help you with pier, jetty, beach and surf fishing tips.

drove 2 hours to sebastian after class today to get broken off by a fat snook because my drag was locked. FML.
pmang6 last time I drove to Sebastian, I went to the bait store to get shrimp for mojarras and the owner told me they were out of shrimp and Sebastian was closed.

Well its open now and the snook are there along with the mullet. You could see smaller snook jumping out of the water in chase of mullet near sundown, I was gonna throw a spook but the hooks got stuck in my pocket lol. Thinking about driving down there again tomorrow. Another 20$ in gas down the drain...

Tbh this really just goes for Floridians cuz I'm North Carolina we don't have snook Jack or even tarpon in September..

Can a 7 ft’ uglystik bigwater paired with a shimano baitrunner D8000 work well for tarpons and stuff in the mullet run? I have over 200 yards of of 50lb Suffix Braid and using 60lb Test.
Yes that would work rod is a little short if they are farther out but should be sufficient

Why don't you use mono on the staal or at least a topshot to help your chances of landing tarpon.
Alex Pisano ? He uses Fluro Leader. I use 80 pound braid for tarpon on a BG 8000.
Gulp_Man102 I know he uses a leader I meant that braid has no stretch so when the tarpon jump its more likely to pull the hook, bend it out, or break off. If you want to land a tarpon instead of losing them your chances are 100 times better with full spool mono or at least a topshot because the mono can stretch and absorb the shock of the tarpons violent headshakes when it jumps.

Its pick your poison with tarpon. Go Fluoro and pull the hook go mono & highest chance of line breakage. Braid to mono to fluoro is great but then you compromise on cast distance. Braid to fluoro on tarpon is a hard game to win without a perfect hook set

Shane Temple i live in boynton. The mullet run stared today. Go anywhere where you can access ur chair so you can see down...a pier, inlet jetties such as boynton, etc. inlets n piers are good cause mullet tend to rest for a day or so. Then they continue to migrate.

Mike Cook not rly the major mullet run happens in the east. Although I think there is a small mullet run that happens in the west coast tho, not 100% sure.
We get mullet in New York, and they are still around.

On the Gulf Coast we get exited when we see mullet pods of about 25-100 fish. I could only imagine what it's like to see this
