I don't know if we've of you have worked at a prison or been in one, you need to remember these inmates have nothing else to do other than schemes, trying to get drugs or money. Yes, some officers are worse than others. No this was not something someone saw coming. In addition, people have no idea how much freedom these inmates get. Had they not have voluntary overtime, the shift before them would have to stay, i think. And all the officers get to protect themselves is a stick and spray. I saw one officer stained in one building of probably more than 50 inmates. At any point in time, if those inmates turn, the COs are screwed.
It was provoked! Those guards are horrible !! And they know whats going on in that hell hole!! Fb is flooded with inmates begging for help! I have a number of them! Its sad! I have family there im devastated and on getting help for them!!
Yeah I used to work in that environment and I never remember us having an area we could just run to to get out of the weather. You either need to be on your post or you needed to be where you're supposed to be
Until the prison can give out the whole story , they should hold off on labeling the inmate as "pure evil" ... as for the tickets (reports) on the inmate . Those are bs charges that I'm sure every co there has wrote over & over ...simulator to real police when charging someone for disorderly conduct & resistantin arrest , after their feelings were hurt ...no one gets mad enough over write-ups , unless it's because the guard has been harassing them ...personal weapon ? I'd say it's a rock , larger than someone's fist . They were all over the place .
Given today’s culture of correctional facilities I’m not convinced this wasn’t retaliation. either way, my sincerest condolences to his family and friends. Why wasn’t he wearing a body camera?
One thing you better be sure of if you write one of them up you better watch them carefully. Because some of them will take that very personal. And based off of the write-up I can tell you right now they're already was a problem there😮
If there enough staffing why are staff alone? Inmates walk around in groups threatening staff and inmates! I believe staff should be station in peers for on sight backup
I can tell you for a FACT that staffing is a big issue!

Well common sense says the inmates are the big issue ! They are locked up for being menaces to society !

@@Sandman0022 Inmates are inmates, they don't really change as a whole. Policy and procedures change and make things more difficult for COs.
@@jimmiwoltz6416 yeah because the state won't let the CO'S do the job correctly . I fill no pitty for any inmate , they get locked up for a reason .
Justice for Robert Brooks
Sorry to hear
This should have never happened if it's a level two or above there should always be at least two guards
