It's not a prize - Leftover money could either be put on a gift certificate or on account. Technically, the contestant could put all of their winnings in the round On Account if they wanted to. If the money was put On Account, the contestant would have to solve another puzzle without hitting Bankrupt to have that amount reimbursed to the new round's winnings....provided there were additional rounds to play. If the Bankrupt is hit, the On Account money goes with what the contestant had in the round. That's the risk of On Account.
